Chapter 904: Chapter 900: The Indestructible Aberrant Creature

Whether it was Adison Claire or Xiao Tian, upon seeing that mutant virus, both couldn’t help but shudder.

As the wound began to itch slightly, Adison Claire couldn’t help but look down, only to see a lump of something like flesh slowly being squeezed out from the wound.

When the mutant virus fell to the ground, the two finally saw it in its entirety.

A tea-colored object was on the ground, expanding and contracting as if it had life, with a regular rhythm like a beating heart.

Seeing this scene, Xiao Tian suddenly furrowed his brow and turned to see Adison Claire with an equally inexplicable expression, asking, ”You seem unaware of how the mutant virus exists?”

Adison Claire stood still for a long moment before coming back to her senses and explained, ”Essentially, viruses exist as liquid, but I didn’t expect the Water Drop Organization to use something akin to this biological form as a carrier and implant it into my body.”

Listening to this explanation, Xiao Tian looked at the unknown creature writhing slowly on the ground, a contemplative expression in his eyes.

However,

Just as Xiao Tian was about to scrutinize, he noticed Adison Claire biting her lip tightly, her facial muscles twitching uncontrollably, as if hiding something unspeakable.

”What’s wrong with you?” Xiao Tian was startled and hurriedly asked, ”Are you uncomfortable anywhere?”

At this moment, having just removed the mutant virus, he couldn’t help but be concerned whether the Water Drop Organization might have some hidden agenda.

Adison Claire squeezed out a few words from between her teeth, saying, ”Can you... put your hand down?”

Perplexed, Xiao Tian looked down his arm and couldn’t help but widen his eyes.

It turned out that somehow, his hand was touching Adison Claire, finally needing an explanation.

With the crisis resolved,

Adison Claire’s face suddenly turned extremely ugly, while Xiao Tian hurriedly withdrew his hand, awkwardly saying, ”My hand went numb!”

...

”Watch out!”

Just as Xiao Tian rubbed his nose and coughed a couple of times, pondering how to cover up his inelegant action, he suddenly heard Adison Claire’s cry.

Xiao Tian abruptly raised his head, only to see Adison Claire staring with fear at the ground behind him, as if she had seen something unbelievable.

Hastily turning around, he saw the tea-colored unknown creature on the floor, now levitating in mid-air, swiftly flying towards him.

Xiao Tian was startled, not expecting this organism carrying the mutant virus to possess such ability.

However, Xiao Tian’s surprise only lasted for a fleeting moment, and soon he shot out a stream of True Qi from his fingertips to counter it.

Under Adison Claire’s muffled gasp, the bright yellow True Qi launched by Xiao Tian collided head-on with the tea-colored spherical organism.

There was no earth-shattering scene, not even much sound; the tea-colored creature exploded instantly upon contact with Xiao Tian’s True Qi, lingered in mid-air for a moment, and then rapidly fell to the ground again.

Unlike the previous fall, this time when the tea-colored creature hit the ground, it scattered into countless bead-like individual droplets, numerous beyond counting.

After scattering, countless droplets began rolling towards the center spontaneously, and when they came into contact with their kind along the way, they would merge into one. Each fusion made them slightly larger than before.

After several blinks of an eye, it was impossible to know how many times the droplets had merged, and they appeared before Xiao Tian again undergoing their final amalgamation.

Seeing that the creature was about to restore itself, Xiao Tian shot another stream of True Qi, just in time to blast it apart before the tea-colored creature could regenerate.

However, the creature shattered into countless droplets recombined faster than before, its resilience defying common logic.

At this point, Xiao Tian had abandoned the violent approach; unless he could ensure simultaneous destruction when it dispersed into countless droplets, attacks would only be futile, wasting more True Qi!

”Is this the mutant virus’s side effect?” Xiao Tian asked in a low voice with his back to Adison Claire.

Generally speaking, as the creator of the mutant virus, Adison Claire obviously understood the current situation better than Xiao Tian, who was seeing this creature for the first time.

But in reality, Adison Claire couldn’t comprehend what was happening before her eyes, so she had no choice but to shake her head and deny it, ”No, it must have been added afterward by the Water Drop Organization.”

”What do you think of the current situation?” Xiao Tian vigilantly watched the tea-colored object on the floor repeatedly expand and contract, asking Adison Claire behind him.

”Two possibilities!”

After some thought, Adison Claire offered her insight, ”First, as I just mentioned, the Water Drop Organization altered the final product of my virus.”

”The second possibility is... only that bizarre organism itself has this terrifying recovery ability to explain.”

After finishing, seeing Xiao Tian not replying, Adison Claire added, ”Personally, I tend to lean towards the second possibility because this time the virus is different from the past. Even if my success, there are many coincidences and elements of luck inside; making casual changes wouldn’t be easy!”

As soon as these words settled, the tea-colored creature on the floor began to change again.

After a bout of twisting and writhing, it gradually formed a rectangular shape, standing in front of Xiao Tian and Adison Claire, looking like a fitting room mirror.

Both Xiao Tian and Adison Claire were clueless about this scene, but simultaneously grew vigilant, ready to respond to any sudden situation.

After some time, the elongated tea-colored creature before them appeared to have ripples as if a breeze was gently brushing a still water surface...

”Adison Claire, you finally chose to betray the organization.”

A sudden voice fell into Xiao Tian and Adison Claire’s ears, hollow and slightly hoarse, with a tone of disappointment.

As the voice sounded, Xiao Tian clearly sensed a moment of stiffness in Adison Claire’s body, then instinctively moved closer to him.

At the same time, the ripples opposite stabilized, revealing a middle-aged man’s face.

The middle-aged man had a straight mouth, square and dense eyebrows, and a beard that was very distinctive, with an image of authority and dignity.
