The journey was relatively safe. The barrier-breaking stone that was held in Li Yi’s hand even emitted a dim light to lead the way.

Everything about this place was oddly quiet. The surrounding trees seemed to be fake and did rustle whatsoever when the wind blew. Although there were no sudden attacks from monsters on the path there, the environment was so silent that unsettled people till no end.

Winnie had been here many times. Even so, she was still scared.

The road was not spacious to begin with, but Winnie was getting closer and closer to Li Yi out of fear. So much so that her breasts were almost touching Li Yi’s back.

Li Yi suddenly stopped and felt something soft hit his back. He turned around and saw Winnie slowly getting up from the ground.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, I’m fine. You don’t have to worry about me.” Winnie stood up and patted the dust on her body with a smile.

Seeing that there was no problem, Li Yi did read too much into the situation. He went forward to help Winnie pat off the invisible dust on her back.

“Does your hidden class provide you with any special features?”

Winnie blushed and lowered his head, not daring to look Li Yi in the eye.

“Before I completed the mission, I only gained the title of this class. I don’t officially have features of this title yet.”

“In other words, you just have to complete this mission before you can officially become a Magic Knight.”

“That should be the case.”

“Then leave it to me. You can learn how to fight as a Magic Knight from the sideline.”

“Okay.”

Li Yi originally wanted Winnie to observe how to attack in close combat. However, Winnie thought that Li Yi was saying this out of love for her.

Just as Winnie had this thought, she immediately shook her head and scolded herself in her mind, ‘No, I promised to help him. How could I have the thought of getting something for nothing again.’

“I’ll do it myself.”

“Oh… Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’ll do it myself. If it really doesn’t work out again, then you can help me.”

“Alright then.”

Although Li Yi did not understand Winnie’s thoughts, Winnie’s warlike attitude was a good development. After all, only with a belligerent heart would one have the motivation to become stronger.

The two finally reached the entrance of the cave. Before entering, they heard a deafening thunder like snore.

“That sound should be coming from the monster inside. When we step into the cave, the snoring will stop. Every time we enter, we will be sent flying by a huge rock. No matter what method we use, we can not avoid it.”

Hearing Winnie’s words, Li Yi began to observe the cave entrance and its surroundings. The cave entrance was not small, but there was no place to hide from the rocks.

According to Winnie’s words, the giant rock would only come out after the both of them entered the cave. That meant that the mechanism would only be activated once all of the players have no choice but to be in the cave.

If such a mission did not include a class like Li Yi to go in first, it would be very difficult for any other player to block the giant rock.

As for Winnie and her sister, they were both in different classes. Without the ability to withstand the attack head-on, it was impossible for them to complete the mission.

However, it was different now that he was here.

“Let’s go in.”

Winnie wanted to say something, but seeing that Li Yi did not hesitate, she could only follow obediently.

The two of them walked into the cave. It was pitch-black inside, and nothing could be seen.

After walking for some distance, a huge rock flew towards Li Yi and Winnie from the pitch-black cave.

Winnie was about to warn Li Yi to be careful. However, right then and there, Li Yi immediately raised his black shield in front of Winnie to block the sudden attack of the huge rock.

“-410! Block!”

Although he had expected it, the huge rock had come quite suddenly. If Li Yi had not been mentally prepared, he would have been flown out of the cave together with Winnie.

The giant rock did not cause much damage. It was meant to only push people out.

The magic weapon in Li Yi’s other hand suddenly appeared and cut the giant rock that had dropped to the ground in half. Looking at the panic stricken Winnie, Li Yi asked with concern, “Are you okay?”

Winnie recovered from her panic and shook her head to show that she was fine.

Then, the two of them walked deeper into the cave again.

Not long after, another giant rock appeared in front of them. This time, Li Yi did not let his guard down.

With the magic weapon in hand, he skillfully turned the giant rock into rubble.

They had encountered at least three or four such attacks along the way, but they were all easily resolved by Li Yi.

Along the side, Winnie gradually calmed down from her initial worry.

They finally reached the depths of the cave when they heard a loud roar. There were piles of tattered armor everywhere, and the edges of the armor had signs of being gnawed.

In the middle was a huge Drakonid. It stood in the center of the cave, and its body took up half of the space inside. The features of the Drakonid looked similar to a real dragon, and one easily assumed it was a dragon. When it was alerted of another presence — Li Yi and Winnie — it quickly stood up.

The scales on its body were covered by the fragments of armor. It looked as though the armor grew out of the body. The wings on its back were retracted. There were also pieces of iron on the wings. However, they were a little more broken than its body.

“Does this dragon monster devour copper and iron? It’s much weaker than a real dragon.”

[Level 24 Iron-devouring Drakonid (normal)]

[HP: 12,000]

[Physical Attack: 430]

[Physical Defense: 550]

[Magic Defense: 120]

[Skill: Tail Smash, Rock Throw, Bite]

“This will be a challenge for newbies who just reached level 20.”

While Li Yi observed the situation, Winnie had already stood up in front of Li Yi.

“Let me try it on my own this time.”

Li Yi saw the determination in Winnie’s eyes, as if he could feel Winnie’s sense of battle intent.

This girl was being serious. Since that was the case, Li Yi could not discourage her. Li Yi retreated to the side, indicating that he would not make a move.

Only then did Winnie raise the staff in her hand and start chanting.

“Wind Blade!”

“-1020!”

“-840!”

“-820!”

As expected, magic damage had more than one damage attack. In addition, Winnie’s equipment was pretty good. Her entire body was covered in flawless equipment, and the damage she dealt was considered higher than average.

The Drakonid monster put its hands in front of its body and blocked the attack. The armor plates on its arms made a sound of collision under the impact of the wind blades.

This operation successfully attracted the Drakonid’s attention.

The Drakonid’s expression gradually became ferocious after it assessed what was happening. This was an expression that indicated that it was ready for battle.

Winnie’s magic attack was quite damaging for a Drakonid that did not have high magic resistance.

When Winnie saw that the Drakonid was going to attack, in order to avoid accidentally injuring Li Yi, she began to run to the other side.

Li Yi stood at the side and watched Winnie. He was also witnessing Winnie’s battle tactics. Although this was just a simple battle, Winnie was going all out.

After all, this was the first time in her history that she had taken an enemy seriously all by herself.
