Online Game: My Health Point Has No Limits

Everyone was celebrating the establishment of the squad and almost forgot that there was still a reward that had not been received.

Li Yi bowed politely to the Knight.

“Sir, may I know when we would receive our rewards?”

“Forgive me. This matter has slipped my mind.”

The NPCs in Divine Revelation all had very high intelligent points. In fact, their mode of thinking was too similar to the way humans thought, and they would often imitate human emotions. Therefore, sometimes, it would be difficult for the current technology of humans to fully process everything. However, behind this game, gods were controlling it. Although the characters in this game would be happy, sad, and have emotional fluctuations, they would have the same pain and happiness as humans.

When Li Yi brought the hidden mission, the Knight was overjoyed, similar to how normal humans reacted.

This was also one of the attractions of Divine Revelation. It created real-world scenarios where players could follow the people and things in this world to communicate or move. If you touched a small stone, it would respond to you, if you made an NPC happy, they would respond to you.

It was precisely because of this that the game was able to reach out to many people. This was also the reason why Li Yi had spent so much time and effort playing this game over the past ten years of his life. If it were not for the high quality of the game, he would not have become a Demigod during the Battle of the Gods.

However, Li Yi no longer cared about these things. He was more familiar with this world than anyone else, and he knew that the Battle of the Gods would happen in ten years’ time.

Familiar and fearful, but that was the future he had to face. Now was a chance for him to start over. This time, he had the SSS-rank and a hidden class like the Heavy Armored Dragon Knight, this time, he can save even more people. He would keep those gods outside the city and prevent them from stepping foot on this human land.

Niedel, the Knight Commander, raised his hand and waved at the three of them, and a pure white holy light flashed across their bodies along with a gentle breeze.

[System Notification: All members from Carefree Dream’s squad have leveled up by one level!]

“Wow, that’s amazing!”

Clutch King looked at his level, and sure enough, it was one level higher than before. After reaching level 20, the experience required to level up would take a longer time. Usually, besides doing missions, one would have to spend most of one’s time farming monsters to level up. Now, none of them would have to try hard in earning another level!

This was pretty good for Clutch King and Snow Chaser; after all, it was really hard to level up diligently.

On the other hand, Li Yi was a little unhappy. He had thought that after completing the hidden mission, he would be able to obtain some powerful equipment or skills, but in the end, he had only leveled up by one level. If he had leveled up by 100 levels in the later stages, that would have been fine, after all, it would take more than a day or two to gain one level back then. He felt as though it was such a waste to receive such a reward.

However, since he had already received the reward, what else could he do? He could only accept his fate.

“Can we go and clear the nightmare-level dungeon now?”

Clutch King was already starting to feel a little smug.

“If we want to clear the nightmare level, we need to be at least level 25 before going in.”

Clutch King looked at his level 22 attribute panel and was disappointed.

Li Yi opened the squad level.

“Carefree Dream is level 24!”

“Clutch King is level 22!”

“Snow Chaser is level 22!”

It looked like the three of them had to work hard to level up, but there were still a lot of things to do before that.

Li Yi came to Niedel again and bowed respectfully, and Niedel returned his salute.

“Heavy Armored Dragon Knight, is there anything else I can help you with?”

“Well… can you not call me that?”

“Then how should I address you?”

“You could address me as Carefree.”

“Then Sir Carefree, what can I do for you?”

“I want to learn the exclusive skills of the faction and receive the benefits of the squad.”

“No problem. From now on, you can start learning the skills of our West Wind Knight. The benefits of the squad have been given to you.”

[System Notification: Each member of Carefree Dream’s squad will receive a Squad Token.]

[System Notification: Carefree Dream’s squad can now learn the skills of the West Wind Knight Faction and receive 10 faction points.]

After obtaining permission, Li Yi opened the faction skill panel. It clearly displayed the skills that could be learned at each level.

Currently, Li Yi could only learn the most basic level 20 skill — Aura.

[Skill: Aura]

[Learning Conditions: Join the West Wind Knight Faction and reach level 20. Consumes 10 faction points.]

[Prerequisites: There must be at least two members in the squad who belong to the West Wind Knight Faction.]

[Effect: The passive effect increases critical strike chance by 10% when launching an attack. The actice effect grants a shield with a maximum HP of 20%. Effect lasts for 10 seconds. This effect can be increased.]

[Condition: Level 30, Level 40, and Level 50. A total of 3 upgrades.]

Each faction had a different faction skill. As one’s level increases, the number of faction skills that could be unlocked can be increased. The difference between faction skills and ordinary skills is that most faction skills require a partner from the same faction. Hence, most of the effects were targeted at the team and not the individual.

Basically, only the first skill was targeted at the individual. As the team cooperation in the early stages was not very strong, everyone must work hard in leveling up. In the later stages, when everyone has around the same level, cooperation between players was essential. Therefore, the official skill design was also based on the player’s overall progress. This was how players improved their overall group play.

Li Yi did not hesitate to click on learn.

[System Notification: Congratulations on learning the faction skill — Aura.]

Then, Li Yi took out the Squad Token and checked it out.

[Item: Squad Token Level 1]

[Effect: When a player with the same token is in the same team, the battle experience gained is doubled.]

It looked like this Squad Token could also be upgraded, it was just that they did not know how to do it yet.

Li Yi looked at Clutch King and Snow Chaser, who were also seriously studying the faction point and Squad Token they had just obtained.

After Li Yi went up to explain it to the two of them, Snow Chaser and Clutch King nodded as if they understood.

[System Notification: It is time to log off, the remaining time to be online is 60 minutes.]

It looked like they had to go offline.
