Online Game: My Health Point Has No Limits

The reason why Li Yi wanted to be the first to clear the nightmare mode dungeon was not because of the rewards.

It was because of the equipment that would only appear in the first clear.

Li Yi walked forward and picked up a pitch-black shield.

The shield was very big. The material of the shield was the same as the Dragon Scale material that he had just obtained, but slightly different at the same time.

[Equipment: A shield from the Demonic Dragon]

[Quality: Perfect (can be upgraded)]

[HP: 1,200 (can be upgraded)]

[Attribute Bonus: Chance of blocking damage reduced by 75% (can be upgraded)]

[Special Attributes: Complete Demonic Dragon set one out of five. Each piece of exclusive equipment can be upgraded by one tier equipment’s attributes.]

[Equipment Requirement: Level 25]

This shield was complex. It was the simplest piece of equipment among the Demonic Dragon set, but it was also the best shield to have before level 30.

The first-clear player was known as the strongest defender before level 30 because of this shield. No one could break his defense, and it was because of this very shield.

It was not until later that someone discovered the true secret of this shield, the Demonic Dragon set.

The Demonic Dragon set was the first special reward gained after defeating a Demonic Dragon. It could be considered an easter egg. There were many dragons in this world, and among them, the Demonic Dragon was the strongest. It was the strongest monster from the Demonic Domain.

If there was a chance for one to tame a Demonic Dragon, that could increase one’s combat strength. It would also be far beyond what an ordinary person could compare to. Moreover, only the strongest Heavy Armored Dragon Knight could tame a Demonic Dragon. However, even the other knight he never saw had never conquered a Demonic Dragon.

On one hand, the Demonic Dragon’s character was very stubborn. Even others from the Demonic Domain had never truly tamed a Demonic Dragon before.

On the other hand, Demonic Dragons rarely appeared in the human world. Only when the gate of the Demonic Domain was opened would one or two appear.

Demonic Dragons had very long lifespans. It was very normal for them to live for more than a thousand years. Among these Demonic Dragons, there were five that were highly unusual.

These magic dragons thirsted for human wisdom, and they wanted to use human wisdom to find out the truth to become stronger. Therefore, these five magic dragons crafted five pieces of equipment using human methods, and they used this to tempt humans to tell them about their wisdom.

However, they did not expect that the human’s wisdom was above them. The humans organized an army, surrounded them, and sealed them underground with an ancient curse.

The equipment they made followed the Demonic Dragons as went underground.

These stories were discovered players in the later stages of the game. It could be considered a secret. However, what exactly happened, who were involved, and how did these five magic dragons come to the human world were questions that were never truly answered.

The reason behind it was too complicated. Moreover, Li Yi did not have much interest in learning about it in his previous life. After all, he did not have the chance to obtain these equipment in the first clear of the dungeon in his previous life.

Li Yi looked at the black shield in his hand and was very delighted. Countless people had fought over this shield in his previous life because the person who had obtained the first clear of the purgatory dungeon changed tremendously because of it.

When the secret of the Demonic Dragon set leaked, the player kept getting killed by others, so he had no choice but to sell it at a high price. The moment he sold it, everyone knew the secret of the Demonic Dragon set.

When the secrets were unlocked, everyone began to fight for the Demonic Dragon set.

In the end, no one could complete the Demonic Dragon set.

This became a big regret in Divine Revelation . Of course, the biggest reason why they could not complete the Demonic Dragon set was because until the end, no one could find the last piece of the Demonic Dragon set. Some people said that it had been stowed away, never to be seen.

However, the attributes of a single piece of the Demonic Dragon set equipment did not stand out in the later stages of the game.

Only when all five pieces of the Demonic Dragon set equipment were gathered together could the power of the set be said to be a force to be reckoned with. Hiding one of the five equipment was not beneficial to players. Other than being heavy weight, it had no other use.

After all, players could see the attributes of the equipment on one’s body through their skills.

Therefore, in the end, everyone only came to two conclusions. One was that a certain player did not care about the value of that piece of equipment and hid it to be a sore loser. The other was that no one had found the final equipment to complete the set.

Players had other ridiculous theoriesthat it had been sent back to a Divine Realm and was simply not in the human world.

Previously, Li Yi had felt that this theory was ridiculous.

However, after all that Li Yi had been through, he now believed this statement.

He had personally seen something come out of the Divine Realm. Since Li Yi could comprehend such an existence, it was not impossible for a player to enter the divine Realm as well.

This was also why Li Yi did not give up on Deaths Descent. He knew that one day, he would have to go to the Demonic Domain. When that time came, this greatsword would be his best weapon.

Unfortunately, Holy Light weapons and equipment are not able to go through the Demonic Domain.

Li Yi quickly equipped this large piece of pitch-black shield on his back. Together with Deaths Descent, his entire aura instantly made people feel fearful. It was as if he was a warrior from the darkness.

“Bro… your equipment is really scary. You shouldn’t take it out for fun, okay?”

“Uh… okay.”

Li Yi too had felt the demonic aura on his body become much condensed. Moreover, this black aura had been lingering around his body for a long time. Even he could not help but shiver.

“I don’t need it anything else anymore. You guys can split the equipment now.

“Thank you for your hard work.”

Sun Conqueror’s expression was humble and polite, and his hand had long since touched the treasure chest.

They were already used to Li Yi’s magnanimity.

Li Yi had already gotten the best equipment, so it was only natural that he would leave the rest to Clutch King and Sun Conqueror.

After all, Sun Conqueror had brought many people with them this time and many did not make it through.

[System Notification: The treasure chest is about to be opened.]

[System Notification: Countdown from 10…]

[System Notification: Treasure chest opened!]

Clutch King was not as magnanimous as Li Yi. Apart from some decent equipment, he had not gotten anything that he was satisfied with yet. After the treasure chest was opened, he was the first to rush to the front and finally found something that he liked.

It was a skill book.

[Item: Shadow Clone (skill book)]

[Usage Requirement: Level 25]

[Effect: Players can create three mode clones identical to a player in battle, cost 30 MP per use.]

[Note: The clones can imitate a player’s actions, but they won’t have offensive or defensive properties.]

Clutch King was overjoyed when he found this. This skill could be said to be exactly the same as the ninja movies he had seen in shows.

If he was skilled in controlling it, he could make it look like the real thing and kill people without being seen.

Clutch King’s movement speed was already very high, and he could now play around with others just by relying on his movement speed.

Once he learns this skill, he would be unstoppable!
