Reborn As Noble

Chapter 927: Too Many Interruptions ( 927 )

Liana listened to Mimi’s energetic voice echo through the mana talkie, shaking her head as she chopped vegetables.

Delya chimed in, voice soft and dreamy. ”Liana?”

”Yes, Delya? What is it?” Liana answered, moving the diced onions aside.

”Do we still have chocolate at the house?” Delya asked, curiosity in her tone.

”Hm? Yes, we do. Why?” Liana replied, tapping the mana talkie as she set some meat on the counter.

”I just saw some chocolate being sold at the market.” Delya’s answer came with that usual dreamy tone.

Liana exhaled quietly, holding back a smile. ”No need to buy, Delya. We can make our own. I’ll show you how when you get back.”

”Okay, Liana~” Delya replied contentedly.

Liana checked the chopping board, then spoke again. ”Delya, who are you with?”

”I’m with Mimi~”

”So Felicia is with who?” Liana pressed, switching her attention.

Gloria’s calm voice cut in, reassuring. ”Ara~ Don’t worry, Liana. She’s with me.”

”Alright. Don’t be careless. Even if Farkam Town is safe now, remember. Felicia, Mimi, and Delya are princesses from other nations,” Liana cautioned, her tone gentle but firm.

”Nya? Don’t worry about me, nya! I can protect myself. Besides, Husband-sama’s drones are everywhere, right?” Mimi replied, undaunted.

Delya’s voice returned, more earnest this time. ”Yes~ Don’t worry too much. I can use Phantom Shadow and split myself, so my clone can fight while I run if it gets too dangerous. And I can fight too.”

”Yes, yes, but still, don’t be reckless. And Mimi! Don’t buy too much like last time!”

”Nya!? I won’t, Liana, don’t worry. Just this slab of meat, nya? What’s that!? Owner! Give me that, and that, and that thing, and that!” Mimi’s voice trailed off in a frenzy of excitement.

Liana couldn’t help but sigh again, shaking her head with a small, resigned smile as she continued prepping dinner.

Liana paused, knife in hand, as the realization hit her.

Wait... everyone else is still out shopping.

It’s just me and young master in the house.

A slow smile crept across her lips. She washed her hands, dried them carefully, and made her way toward the living room.

Javier was sitting on the couch, towel around his neck, wiping his face after washing up.

Liana quietly moved to him, slipping onto his lap, straddling him, her movements slow and deliberate.

Javier looked up, surprised. ”Liana?”

She leaned in, lips close to his ear, her breath warm. ”Young master... if you’re hungry, why don’t you have me for your appetizer?”

Javier’s eyes glinted. He pulled her in for a deep kiss, one hand sliding up her back, the other pulling her close by the waist.

Their lips locked, tongues entwined, breath mixing.

Liana’s body arching as Javier pressed her into the couch, his hands trailing down her sides.

Javier’s hands began to roam over her body as their lips stayed locked in a hot, deep kiss.

He was about to undo the first button of her blouse when Liana paused, looking straight into his eyes and whispering, ”Don’t take off my clothes, just my panties. We probably don’t have much time.”

”Okay,” Javier replied. He kissed her again, lifting her maid skirt, revealing her panties and the smooth skin of her thighs.

Javier swallowed, his hand slowly sliding down her panties.

Suddenly, the front door flew open. Gloria rushed in, slightly out of breath.

”Ara~ again with Liana and only Liana, young master~ When you still haven’t claimed me yet~ Just because you already did it once with Liana doesn’t mean she gets a second time before me~”

Felicia’s eyes went wide, both hands covering her mouth.

”L...Liana?” Felicia stammered, glancing at Gloria.

Gloria just smiled and turned to Felicia. ”Felicia~ this is what I meant by making young master a real man.”

Liana sat up, glaring at Gloria.

She clicked her tongue, mumbling, ”Why can’t you just give us a moment of peace?”

Gloria raised her palm to her lips, eyes twinkling with mischief. ”Ara~ First Wife. You have plenty of time reserved on your schedule. But until young master has claimed all of us completely, it’s only fair we each get our own sweet moment, don’t you think?”

Liana exhaled softly, slipping off from Javier’s lap and standing up. She adjusted her skirt and gave a polite smile. ”If you say so, Second Wife~”

”Now, now~ I believe young master is hungry. How about I help you with the cooking, Liana~?” Gloria said, moving gracefully toward the kitchen.

Felicia, cheeks still red, stood frozen in the entryway, eyes wide with shock.

Gloria glanced back at Felicia, her smile softening. ”My... don’t think too much about it, Felicia. Soon it’ll be your turn too.”

Javier just let out a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his head.

”Ehehe... I didn’t know you two would get back so soon.”

Gloria turned her knowing smile toward Liana, who was already heading for the kitchen.

”Ara~ I had my suspicions when Liana suddenly asked who Felicia and Mimi were with. The way you brought it up, I thought you might be scheming something. How clever of you, Liana.”

Liana coughed lightly, offering a polite smile. ”I have no idea what you’re talking about, Gloria~”

”My, my~ Still pretending.” Gloria smirked, then turned with a wave. ”Let’s cook together, shall we, Liana?”

Felicia, cheeks still flushed, slipped quietly to the couch across from Javier. She fiddled with her skirt, eyes darting away, her tail twitching nervously.

Gloria looked back over her shoulder, voice playful but firm. ”Don’t get any ideas about your turn before me, Felicia~”

”Ah... umm... I... I wouldn’t dare...”

Gloria grinned, striding into the kitchen. ”Just remember, second wife first, then it’s your turn~”

After Gloria and Liana went to the kitchen, Javier sat there, still restless. He could still feel his arousal from earlier, a dull ache that wouldn’t go away.

He glanced at Felicia, who was still fidgeting on the other couch, eyes darting away every time he looked at her. Javier smiled and patted the spot beside him.

Felicia’s ears twitched. She looked away, clearly nervous, but after a few seconds, she stood and moved over to sit next to him. She kept her hands folded in her lap, her tail flicking anxiously as she tried not to meet his gaze.

Javier leaned in slowly. Felicia parted her lips just a bit, and Javier kissed her.

Felicia’s breath caught as Javier’s lips met hers. Her body tensed for an instant, then relaxed, her tail curling softly behind her. Javier’s hand found her cheek, thumb brushing gently along her jaw as he deepened the kiss.

She closed her eyes, letting herself sink into the warmth, her earlier nerves melting away.
