A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 797: Chapter 794: Irresistible (Part 8)

The Level-3 Great Sorcerer Moses, one of the heads of the Forging Hammer Sorcerer Academy.

Compared to President Ginders at the top of the Sorcerer’s Tower harnessing the Source of Magic Power, and the Chancellor of the Eight Flame Feather Fan manipulating the Academy’s legacy Sorcery Instrument, and Tarron Rod leading fourteen General Ant Level Mechanical Puppets, Moses was just an ordinary, unnoticed Level-3 Mechanical Great Sorcerer.

With a semi-mechanized body, a combined multi-barreled mechanical cannon on the left hand relying on a special mechanical kinetic setup and mechanical blood within, Moses could fire 2,048 energy blasts in an instant — truly astounding!

The right hand was equipped with a high-explosive shock sword made of special metal, with a mechanical eye serving as an infrared spectral sensing device. The foot-assisting device had immediate counter-guidance escape capabilities...

At this moment, behind Moses gathered hundreds of Mechanical Wizards and Academy Guardians from the Forging Hammer Academy, along with several large weaponry units. In front, a savage Barbarian Giant that had half its body inside the Defense Shield unleashed a realm of icy storm Elemental Witchcraft.

Endless swirling ice cones shot out in all directions, the sound of breaking through the air rising and falling, continuous.

These spinning ice gyros exploded with a ”pop” when they reached their limit, triggering large patches of ice crystals to form from the surrounding ice elements.

”Headmaster, what should we do?”

Piloting a mechanical scorpion flyer, a Second-Level Mechanical Wizard, wearing a transparent fiberglass helmet, asked in a low voice, eyes showing urgency.

Moses gritted his teeth, glanced at the other heads of various academies in the distance, and upon seeing that none had a practical solution to the field of ice, he said in a low voice, ”It’s trying to delay us and squeeze further into the Defense Shield; we must not let it succeed! Sky Cruiser War Car charge forward and break through by force!”

With that, Moses led a Sky Cruiser War Car into the snowy field, his figure immediately engulfed by the countless ice gyros released by the Ice Marrow Crystal in the snowy realm.

...

In the gap of the Defense Shield of the Forging Hammer Sorcerer Academy.

Below the Barbarian Giant Sun Chaser, a massive field of icy winds raged on. Taking advantage of a brief moment of calm, the Barbarian Giant desperately held on to the stuck entrance at its waist, cracking sounds echoed, as black arcs of Annihilation Force circled around, the energy layer of the Defense Shield dimming and brightening slowly as it opened up slightly.

”Huh...”

The Barbarian Giant pushed part of its body further into the Defense Shield, reaching the waist.

Yet, despite this progress, the Barbarian Giant Sun Chaser was exhausted, panting slightly, with massive physical strength consumption causing it to quickly gather streams of water to swallow and replenish.

”Now I somewhat understand the difficulty of attempting to forcibly invade a complete world. Having the power to leverage the Gate of Space-Time with the Lever of Destiny, no wonder it is the inherited Sorcery Instrument of the Wizard World... Hmm!?”

Panting, Green muttered to himself, about to make further progress, when he suddenly noticed in the icy storm field below, a several tens of meters long aircraft flew up through the ice gyro storm, followed by a considerable number of Mechanical Wizards.

”Young master, keep it up! The Source of Magic Power at the Forging Hammer Sorcerer Tower is fluctuating, it’s the time fluctuation from the Lever of Destiny, seems like the Stigmata Sorcerer of the Forging Hammer has summoned other powerful Wizards for aid.”

Outside the Defense Shield, the massive silhouette of the Enigmatic Thousand-Headed Bird carried Xiao Ba quickly across the sky.

”Hmph! Roar...”

The Barbarian Giant Sun Chaser snorted coldly, then pushed even harder against the interior of the defense cover, its body constantly swaying side to side, a wild roar resonated from deep within its throat.

Bang...

The over fifty-meter-long Sky Cruiser War Car charged through the frosty realm, suffering widespread damage from the endless ice gyros. However, it still managed to effectively provide cover for the Mechanical Wizards, as the subsequent development of the Ice Marrow Crystal witchcraft was not meant for lethality.

Yet, in the next moment, above the blizzard field, a hundred-meter Abyssal Magic Wand struck the head of the cruise car, causing the heavily damaged Sky Cruiser War Car to explode with a ”boom”, scattering thousands of metal shards into the stormy icy realm.

Splat, splat, splat, splat, splat...

One by one, the Mechanical Wizards rushed out of the storm formed by the Ice Marrow Crystal. Some unfortunate ones, unable to evade in time, screamed as they fell, while most remained steadfast and determined, gazing up at the massive upper body of the Barbarian Giant stuck in the Defense Shield.

”Hmph! There’s no other way, we must wear it down bit by bit and see which Great Sorcerer from the Wizard World the Stigmata Sorcerer of the Forging Hammer can summon for rescue!”

Frustrated, the Barbarian Giant swung around the Abyssal Magic Wand, killing off these tiny things swarming around it, while waiting for the temporal fluctuations inside the Sorcerer’s Tower to gradually calm.

Now and then, some corrosive attack, toxic attack, freezing attack, burning attack, shock attack, destructive attack landed on the Barbarian Giant, but were automatically ignored.

Among the numerous Wizards, only one Level-3 Great Sorcerer was worthy of attention and cautious prevention by the Barbarian Giant.

Apparently, this Great Sorcerer also realized the Barbarian Giant was being cautious of him, so he dared not approach, only wandering outside while occasionally releasing a long-range attack or two that lightly landed on the bone armor and scales of the Barbarian Giant Sun Chaser, not causing much harm, unnoticed.

After a while.

Due to the harassment by these intervening Mechanical Wizards, the Barbarian Giant didn’t make much progress, still only having its upper body pushed into the Defense Shield, while the energy fluctuations of the Ice Marrow Crystal began to calm, the stormy icy realm gradually subsiding.

Buzz...

Within the Forging Hammer Sorcerer Tower, the temporal fluctuations grew stronger, signaling that this being summoned by the Source of Magic Power possessed extraordinary Strength.

Even the Barbarian Giant, exerting all its might to push into the Defense Shield, couldn’t help but turn, gazing towards the direction of the Forging Hammer Sorcerer Tower.

Inside, which mighty figure would appear?

Yet, judging from this aura...

Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud...

The footsteps were extraordinarily heavy; the overwhelming sounds of roaring and shouting from the Mechanical Wizards and Academy Guardians within the Defense Shield, and the rumbling of Mechanical Flyers, were all drowned out by the sound of footsteps in Green’s ears. Under the towering brow ridge of the Barbarian Giant, its violent eyes shot outward.

From within the Sorcerer’s Tower, a figure slowly emerged, standing in mid-air, sunlight cast upon the form, looking around sternly.

Bearing a four-meter crimson warhammer on the shoulder, a two-meter tall perfect human form, filled with a wild, violent, domineering aura, the powerful Strength formed a circle of airflow around the body, exuding an indescribable sense of oppression, surrounded by Abyssal Demonic Qi.

The domineering figure that walked out of the Sorcerer’s Tower lifted its eyes, gazing at the colossal being trapped in the Defense Shield. Slightly surprised, but then its gaze erupted with a dazzling light! (To be continued.
