A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 769: Chapter 767: Trapped Seal (Part 2)

Six months later.

A shadow flickered beneath the Demon Ancestor’s Arm, and a black-robed female knight appeared. With one hand, she tossed a handful of black hairs to Green, saying gravely, ”There might still be a couple of rats hiding in the corners of the relics. I suppose you’re not short of these one or two strands, are you?”

Without a change in expression, Green collected these Demon Ancestor’s Hairs without saying a word.

”What are you doing?”

The female knight looked at Green. At this moment, Green was infusing some fine crystal powder with magical power, writing in the form of magic runes on the Demon Ancestor’s Arm, seemingly drawing some kind of large magic prohibition.

Green did not answer the female knight’s question. His right hand continued to write magic runes with the Magnetism Star Core powder, while his left hand opened, revealing the second Peacock Flying Feather.

”Your self-sealing technique is intriguing. Besides this robe, it can also be aided by these three Lifespan Feathers. Over the years, I too have independently developed a self-sealing technique, which is currently in its final refinement stage. Normally, I can exert up to seventy-five percent of my power, and after unsealing, I can burst out a hundred and twenty percent power, but it still does not meet my needs...”

As he spoke, Green stopped writing the magic runes and turned to look at the female knight.

”I’m very interested in your Lifespan Feather self-sealing technique. After thinking about it these days, I happen to have a sorcery instrument that is somewhat similar to your Lifespan Feather. Therefore, I want your second Lifespan Feather, in exchange for the capability of your self-sealing technique.”

After a moment of pause, the female knight tossed a turtle shell, saying lightly, ”This sealing skill I obtained by chance from a Different World, it’s all in here.”

Green fiddled with the turtle shell a few times, saying with interest, ”In that case, come back after thirty years after I’ve verified its authenticity.”

Saying this, Green tucked the turtle shell into his sleeve, looking like he planned to study it carefully when he had time.

The female knight choked, glanced around, and then surprisingly jumped onto a branch of a giant tree afar, sitting sternly, her voice transmitted melodiously, ”Then I’ll wait here for you for thirty years!”

Ignoring the female knight, Green continued inscribing magic runes on the Demon Ancestor’s Arm with the Magnetism Star Core powder.

...

Three years later.

On this day, a deafening ”boom”, ”boom” arose. The female knight, who was gasping heavily under intense training, jolted awake. After tossing aside the massive rock she was lifting, her body lightened, and with a few flashes, the black-robed female knight disappeared without a trace, swiftly flying back towards the Demon Ancestor’s Arm.

”This...”

The female knight was dumbstruck, staring in disbelief at the distant scene.

Only to see Green, in the form of a human wizard, lifting an arm that was the Demon Ancestor’s Arm several hundred meters tall. As Green poured his magic power into it, the Demon Ancestor’s Arm continued to expand, seemingly approaching a kilometer in size.

”First Layer of Wild Instinct, open!”

”Second Layer of Wild Instinct, open!”

”Level 3 of Wild Instinct, open!”

”Fourth Layer of Wild Instinct, open!”

As the Demon Ancestor’s Arm grew larger, Green had no choice but to unlock higher layers of Wild Instinct to support lifting the Demon Ancestor’s Arm.

Until the Demon Ancestor’s Arm expanded to a height of three kilometers, yet this was far from the arm’s limit.

Even with the gravity reduction afforded by the Magnetite Star Core Celestial Meteorite, Green, in his Fourth Layer Wild Instinct Transformation, still found it unbearable. After a satisfied laugh, the Demon Ancestor’s Arm gradually began to shrink, and Green slowly reverted to his human wizard form.

A moment later, a slender, curved black arm like an unusually shaped tree branch ended in four splayed fingertips, held in Green’s hand, its tip resting on the ground.

”You... you actually...”

The female knight, her eyes visible through the two eyeholes under her black hood, was filled with shock, staring disbelievingly at the ”stick” in Green’s hand, involuntarily swallowing hard.

Caught up in his excitement, Green ignored the female knight.

He opened a Dimensional Gap, placing a head-sized blue crystal stone exuding a stunning chill at the top of the four fingers of the Demon Ancestor’s Arm. ”Crack,” ”crack,” ”crack,” – after a series of freezing sounds, the two fused into one.

”The magic wand’s head and shaft are complete. With the extreme cold crystal mountains and the Demon Ancestor’s Arm as materials for this magic wand, the runes inscribed upon it cannot afford any compromise. I must bring out the Demon Ancestor’s Arm’s weight, gravitational field properties, and the Magnetism Star Core and the extreme cold crystal’s magic guide capabilities. Additionally, it should follow my previous design to shorten the preparation time for activating space-time sealing techniques with its attack effects.”

It was evident that Green was extremely excited at this moment.

The time required to inscribe runes on a magic wand varies based on the wand’s quality.

For this second-generation magic wand of Green’s, it might take two or three hundred years to complete. However, Green was already impatient to witness the wand’s power.

”Now, what should I name this magic wand?”

After pondering for a long time, a spark of inspiration flashed in Green’s eyes.

”I’ll call it... extreme abyss!”

”Shadow of Despair, you don’t intend to use this Demon Ancestor’s Arm as material for a magic wand, do you!?”

The female knight, looking at the terrifying magic wand prototype in Green’s hand that emanated an astonishing chill, swallowed her saliva and asked incredulously.

If this magic wand were truly completed, its strength would likely...

Green turned his head, striving to conceal his inner excitement, calmly saying, ”There’s still twenty-seven years until our agreed time, and I don’t wish to answer that question for now.”

Saying this, Green, with the unfinished extreme abyss magic staff in hand, started walking step by step towards the direction of the abyssal human den within the sealing space.

The abyssal humans, naturally, were the descendants of human wizards imprisoned together with the Demon Ancestor’s Arm in this ancient relic.

As time passed, these wizard descendants gradually lost their wizard talents and wisdom, relying on their identity as ordinary humans to survive in the abyssal environment, evolving into the crawling creatures they were now, covered in abyss moss and with thick fat, at the bottom of the food chain.

Inside the den.

A large number of abyssal humans entered a dormant state after consuming abyssal plants, clumping together, resembling one black, slippery meatball after another.

Green walked in front of each wall mural, studying slowly, and finally stopped in front of the mural depicting the Demon Ancestor’s Arm.

Needless to say, these murals were undoubtedly the information left behind by the ancient wizards.

Yet so many years had passed now, both the ancient wizards and the Nameless Ancient Demon depicted in the murals had been trapped to death within the sealing space. Even the Demon Ancestor’s Arm was but a stub of a thumb that survived.

The many sorcery instruments of ancient exquisite craft, coveted by numerous exiles within the relics, were deliberately released with a layer of forbidden seal belonging to the Demon Ancestor’s Finger.

With so much time passed by now, Green recollected his thoughts, considering the possibility that there might still be some deeply hidden ancient sorcery instruments remaining within this space, and the most likely location among them would be within this abyssal human den.
