A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 408: An Expedition into the Infernal Spirit World IV

Half a month later.

Above the Void Fortress deck, the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers who had finished dissecting and analyzing the Acraepoid specimens raised their heads and awaited Black Isotta’s order of sending them into the expedition.

It was a similar situation in the five other Void Fortresses other than Black Isotta’s.

There would be six dimensional Void Fortresses in the expedition into the Infernal Spirit World!

That is to say, six blood moons would appear simultaneously in the skies above the Infernal Spirit World!

This would be considered as a medium-scale invasion. For the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings of the Sorcerers World, an invasion of this scale occurred only once every millennium.

Within the unceasingly collapsing space-time, Black Isotta was overlooking the crowd of Dark Demon-Hunter Sorcerers who were looking up at him.

“Heeheeheehee, little guys, the world we are going to is a rich world known as the Infernal Spirit World ruled by a bunch of Acraepoids who worship only themselves. They’ve attempted to invade the Sorcerers World before and have the ambition to be the ruler of this world cluster. They have now been deemed as enemies of the sorcerers by the great Seven Rings Celestial Sorcerer!”

Black Isotta paused for a moment. His voice gradually turned from a calm manner into a dark, sinister tone.

“Heeheeheeheeheehee, enemy of the sorcerers!? When faced with an enemy of the sorcerers, what should we do?”

Black Isotta’s eerie laughter echoed throughout the deck. Within the collapsing space, he looked at the crowd of Demon-Hunter Dark Sorcerers on top of the deck.

“Slaughter…”

“Obliterate…”

“Pillage…”

Black Isotta listened to the bone-chilling calls of the Demon-Hunter Dark Sorcerers. He seemed satisfied.

“Heeheeheehee, that’s right, obliterate all enemies of the sorcerers! In our unceasing path to spread the will of the sorcerers, we must regain the pride and glory that belongs to the sorcerers! We must regain the indestructible glory of the Sorcerers Will! There will be limitless Honor Badge missions and high-reward missions in the expedition into the Infernal Spirit World. Would you like to be like him, a Rank-1 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter Sorcerer?”

Grimm quietly stood beside Black Isotta. He was a tool for Black Isotta’s speech.

It was a scene pre-planned by Black Isotta.

On top of Grimm’s shoulder, Little Myna was so overjoyed it almost descended into lunacy. Its face was filled with pride. “Caw caw caw caw…Master Grimm, has it been ten thousand years? Or a hundred thousand years? Daddy Myna is now the hero again, it sure feels great…”

The crowd of Demon-Hunter Sorcerers could sense the ripple of Grimm’s Rank-1 Honor Badge. It felt like they were facing down the Tree of Life!

Looking at the expressions of the crowd of Demon-Hunter Dark Sorcerers that were green with envy, Black Isotta had achieved his goal. He laughed heedlessly.

With that, Grimm retreated quietly into the company of Wicky, Solumn, Millie, and Claudia.

“If you want it so much, then slaughter and obliterate to your heart’s content. Wipe off all enemies of the sorcerers in the sorcerers’ path of domination! Black Isotta is generous in this expedition! The great Seven Rings Celestial Sorcerer is generous! The Sorcerers World is generous! Heeheeheehee, heeheeheeheeheehee!”

The sinister laughter echoed throughout the Void Fortress. Black Isotta gradually spread his arms out, signaling for the frenzied Demon-Hunter Sorcerers to quiet down.

“I, Black Isotta of the Holy Tower of Seven Rings declare the commencement of war between the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings of the Sorcerers World with the Infernal Spirit World! This war is in alignment with the Sorcerers Will, it is in accordance with the rules of the Sorcerers Alliance. I swear upon the heart of the Sorcerers World to obliterate all enemies of the sorcerers that stand in the path of regaining the sorcerers’ glory!

Black Isotta gave out a righteous speech in a thunderous voice. The content of the war declaration was different from a normal Demon-Hunting expedition declaration.

Was this Demon-Hunting expedition a mission sanctioned to Black Isotta by the Holy Tower of Seven Rings?

In other words, the true leader of the expedition this time around was a Celestial Sorcerer. Unlike the Stigmata Sorcerers of the past, Black Isotta was merely an agent appointed by the Seven Rings Celestial Sorcerer.

They had also removed the part of the speech which guaranteed that they would do their best to protect the lives of the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers. Did this mean that the Sorcerers World would spare no resources to obliterate the enemies of the sorcerers from the boundless world?

The Demon-Hunter Sorcerers were exceptionally intelligent. They had already figured out these irregularities on their own.

For a world to be called an enemy of the sorcerers, they must first prove their powers to be more than that of a small-sized world. It should be viewed as a threat by at least a Celestial Sorcerer.

As Black Isotta finished his declaration, one of the natural laws of the Sorcerers World went through a transformation.

It was as if a drop of rainwater had entered all the Void Fortresses of the world.

At that moment, the Void Fortress beneath the feet of the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers seemed to have been bestowed with a soul. The fortress seemed to have been resurrected!

Buzz!

With a low hum, a huge sorcerer’s barrier appeared on the upper half of the semi-sphere that was the Void Fortress. The barrier completed the fortress into the shape of a full sphere.

It felt very familiar.

At that moment, Grimm felt that the Void Fortress was like his very own mother. He could control each device in the Void Fortress to his heart’s content. He could do anything he liked within the Void Fortress, free from restraint.

All these came from a strange connection of will.

Yes, this was the heart of the fortress. Grimm was astounded.

Vroom!

Hum…

The gigantic Void Fortress was entering the sea of clouds, into the Seven Rings Shield. The five other Void Fortresses led by the Stigmata Sorcerers Bone Bell Tower, Ivory Fort, Dark Realm, Mandala, Hourglass, too followed its lead.

A loud, chilling battle horn echoed within the Seven Rings Shield. Tens of millions of Demon-Hunter Sorcerers flew back into their Demon-Hunter castles like a swarm of locusts.

Now, even with the six fortresses going on the expedition together, the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers from the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings did not seem to be terribly outnumbered.

“Heeheeheehee, calling all Demon-Hunter Sorcerers, summon your soul slaves to join the expedition!”

The very moment Black Isotta gave out his order, the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers summoned their soul slaves to join the fight. Thousands of ferocious-looking soul slaves in different forms appeared.

Countless soul slaves poured out from the hundred-meter tear above Black Isotta like floodwater. The number was terrifyingly huge, each one of them were high-quality soul slaves. They filled the Void Fortress continuously.

These soul slaves, did they receive the blessings of the Seven Rings Celestial Sorcerer as well?

The soul slaves were growling fiercely. Their claws were out; their expressions were hideous.

Everything was in order. The Void Fortress, loaded with Demon-Hunter Sorcerers and their soul slaves, was now in the energy light pillar of the Tree of Life. Using the principle of the leverage of the fate of the Sorcerers World, they launched from the Sorcerers World.

Within the distorted space-time tear, a huge city of red hives that were tens of thousands of meters tall faintly came into view.

Grimm’s heart skipped a beat. Is this the Dark Destroyer Kingdom?

The Void Fortress used the Dark Destroyer Infernal God as its landing coordinates. Naturally, they had landed at his base.
