Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

Tuotuo truly is an old fox, he has already arranged everything in such a way that placing people in the Great Buddha Temple can deal with every possible change.

No matter what tricks you Zoroastrian Sect employ, I have only one word: wait. As long as we wait until the time is right, push out the Little Ming King for a kill, and all will be well.

Tuotuo pondered, feeling confident and at ease.

At the side, a trusted attendant asked, ”Lord Prime Minister, are we really going to do nothing for defense?”

Tuotuo looked at the trusted aide and said, ”What defense? What defense could be more complete than that of Lord Living Buddha?”

”Then are we just going to let them do as they please in the Great Capital?”

The attendant continued, and upon hearing this, Tuotuo said, ”They won’t be able to do much. In the Great Capital, they have only two targets: first, my Prime Minister’s Mansion, where only a few maids remain. If they like, they can take them away.”

”And where else could they go apart from my Prime Minister’s Mansion?”

The attendant said, ”I do not know.”

Tuotuo said, ”It’s nothing more than the Ministry of Personnel’s Heavenly Prison.”

”Ministry of Personnel.”

The attendant frowned slightly, and Tuotuo continued, ”The old fellow Duode from the Ministry of Personnel has been getting very close with Hama lately. It’s a good opportunity to give him a warning, to let him know who really holds the power in the court.”

Upon hearing this, the attendant immediately agreed, ”Lord Prime Minister speaks wisely, but...”

Tuotuo glanced at him and said, ”Speak your mind, don’t be timid.”

”Lord, isn’t Vice Commander Lu supposed to lay a Heaven and Earth Net in the prison with Master Dharma Ba to catch the assassins? If the Zoroastrian Sect suddenly arrives, I’m afraid they will have difficulty in dealing with the Sea Dragon King and Yushan Shangren, who are famed Heavenly List experts.”

Upon hearing this, Tuotuo’s lips slightly curled, ”Haha, you are quite right, but that is also part of my plan.”

The attendant was stunned on hearing Tuotuo’s words, and after a moment, suddenly woke up, looking at Tuotuo and said, ”Lord, do you mean?”

Tuotuo chuckled, ”Exactly.”

The attendant’s eyes widened twice in amazement, developing a new insight into Tuotuo’s shrewdness.

This Heavenly Prison trap is quite naive, Tuotuo knows it is easily broken. If either the Sea Dragon King Fang Guozhen or Yushan Monk Liu Futong take action, just relying on Molten God Second Transition’s Dharma Ba could never hold the prison, not to mention that even the prison itself could be overthrown.

It’s likely that Dharma Ba himself could be injured by these two people, but injuring Dharma Ba may well be part of Tuotuo’s plan.

Dharma Ba is Living Buddha Basiba’s most beloved disciple, and the Living Buddha has always maintained a passive stance, neither opposing nor supporting Tuotuo in various matters.

But if Liu Futong or Fang Guozhen injure Dharma Ba, it might provoke the Living Buddha’s anger.

If the Living Buddha is willing to leave the Great Buddha Temple to assist him, then what issue is the Northern Red Scarf Army of the Zoroastrian Sect?

Firstly, in terms of high-end combat power, having the Living Buddha present, let alone Zoroastrian Sect’s Liu Futong and Fang Guozhen, even Han Shantong, who was said to be closest to the Earthly Immortal, would be insignificant.

With absolute superiority in high-end combat power, and with lower-tier forces, he still has the Treasure Elephant Army and the fifty thousand White Deer Army transferred from Jiangnan. At that point, what obstacles could there be to his King Slaughter Conference?

As for why Tuotuo is shrunken back at the Great Buddha Temple, it’s because Basiba refuses to leave the Great Buddha Temple. If Basiba could leave to deal with those Zoroastrian Sect guys, would there be any issue?

Therefore, Tuotuo has already calculated that the opponent’s purpose is to see if they can rescue the Little Ming King by going to the Mansion and Heavenly Prison.

He also knows that the trap arranged by Lu Feng and the others inside the prison is highly likely to fail, and Dharma Ba might be injured in the process, though surely not fatally. It’s understood that it would be very difficult to kill someone with a Molten God Second Transition if they intended to escape, and not only that, merely starting a fight inside the city could alarm the Treasure Elephant Army Commander Boluo Timur outside the city, so they couldn’t desperately try to kill Dharma Ba either.

At that moment, striking a blow to Dharma Ba’s momentum in the prison could be helpful in sending responsibility to Jiangnan in the future.

Therefore, this time Tuotuo achieves multiple goals with one move, which is indeed a smart approach.

Thinking of this, Tuotuo already has a solid plan in his mind and stops dwelling on these matters, closing his eyes, ”Alright, just keep a close watch, no need to bother with anything else.”

Saying this, he turns around, but just as he turns, ”By the way, is there any movement from Hama?”

Upon hearing this, the attendant said, ”Lord Hama is patrolling the Ancestor Mausoleum, he should be back in these few days.”

Upon hearing this, Tuotuo said, ”How many days until Your Majesty’s birthday?”

The attendant said, ”Two days.”

Tuotuo said, ”The birthday is the day of the King Slaughter Conference, two days, hmm, think of a way to delay Hama’s return for a few days before Your Majesty’s birthday, but don’t let him return to the capital. Once everything is settled, then let him return.”

Upon hearing this, the attendant said, ”Lord, if news spread about kidnapping a country’s Right Minister, it might end badly.”

”Kidnapping a country’s Right Minister? You did it?”

”Ah, Lord Prime Minister!”

The attendant heard this and immediately knelt down to beg for mercy. Seeing this, Tuotuo laughed, ”See how frightened you are, I didn’t say to let you take the blame, right now the Great Capital is in chaos, the Northern Red Scarf are rampant, this kidnapping of the Right Minister is surely done by the Northern Red Scarf.”

”Understand?”

”Subordinate understands.”

Upon hearing this, the attendant expressed his understanding, then said, ”Lord, since the Red Turban Army did it, why don’t we...”

The attendant made a throat-slitting gesture, and Tuotuo looked and said, ”You’re quite bold, daring to kill the Right Minister?”
