Ning An's Wild Wish System

”You were born of a mother and raised without a father, you don’t even understand this simple logic.”

As sunlight poured in, a middle-aged woman barged into the cafeteria, storming towards Wang Zihao in fury.

Probably because she was in such a hurry, she didn’t notice the peculiar atmosphere inside the cafeteria.

Looking at the hesitant and timid Wang Zihao before her, a sneer curled at the corners of her lips as she coldly said:

”Kid, I’m telling you, if you plan to continue this business, today you must raise the price of the instant noodles!”

”But... ten yuan for a pack of instant noodles is too expensive, people won’t be able to afford it.” Wang Zihao tried hard to explain.

The middle-aged woman’s eyes sharpened instantly, her voice becoming sharp and domineering: ”I don’t care about this and that, you have to raise the price today!”

Wang Zihao whispered: ”But ten yuan per pack is too expensive...”

”What’s so expensive about it!”

The middle-aged woman raised her eyebrows and shouted angrily: ”It’s been this price for years, why is it expensive now!”

”We could also make a small profit but sell more...”

The middle-aged woman was so angry she laughed, pointing her finger arrogantly: ”I run a supermarket, not a charity, they say it’s expensive? I haven’t even complained about the exorbitant stall fees I pay to the cafeteria!”

”If they can’t afford instant noodles, let their parents reflect on whether they’ve worked hard and earned enough money over the years!”

These words fell unpleasantly on the ears of those in the live stream audience.

”At first, I wondered why this kid only had loose change on him, thought it was for show, but now I get it, those fifty-cent and one-yuan coins were saved one pack of noodles at a time.”

”Ten yuan for a pack of noodles? Even at a service area, she wouldn’t dare sell to me at this price!”

”I laughed, knowing this is a school, but it felt like an alternate school from ’The Shawshank Redemption’, unbelievable!”

”But, to be fair, rent in this school’s stores is indeed expensive, my school’s store has pricey items too, a tub of instant noodles also costs ten bucks, sigh.”

”Your school is kind of pricy, but compared to this school, they’re even worse! The instant noodles are packs, not tubs, yet they dare sell it for ten bucks, this makes more money than what you read about in criminal law textbooks!”

”...”

Although the middle-aged woman was aggressive, Wang Zihao still firmly refused to concede:

”Auntie, I can raise the price, but it definitely can’t be ten yuan, that’s too expensive.”

”Good boy! You make it tough for me, then you better not think you’re getting off easy, watch me smash your stall...”

The middle-aged woman cursed as she lunged over and began smashing his stall.

Rattle! Bang! Crash!

With a cacophony of noise, the pots, bowls, and utensils in front of Wang Zihao were violently thrown to the ground.

A big pot fell upside down on the floor, the water inside gushing out, bubbling.

Seeing this scene, Wang Zihao’s heart twisted painfully.

These were the things he relied on to make a living!

Without this small stall, he really didn’t know how he would survive.

Wang Zihao’s chest heaved violently, his fists clenched tightly, his knuckles whitened.

”Is there no justice left, do you not reason...”

The middle-aged woman glanced at him and sneered: ”Reason? Kid, it’s just because you’re at school now that I can even bother with diplomacy before force.”

”If you weren’t a student, do you believe this stall wouldn’t be yours by tomorrow?”

Wang Zihao exclaimed: ”Impossible! I signed a contract with the cafeteria manager, he promised this stall would be mine for the year!”

The middle-aged woman scoffed: ”Kid, when you signed the contract with him, didn’t you say you’d give him thirty percent of the profits, that’s why he signed it.”

Wang Zihao nodded helplessly: ”Yes, that’s what we agreed on.”

The middle-aged woman snorted: ”Exactly, kid, you give him thirty percent of profits calculated by our supermarket’s sales price, so that’s why you got a stall.”

”And yet, you sell a pack of noodles for two and a half yuan, snatching business from our supermarket, and you only tribute two hundred yuan a month to him, he’s the principal’s relative, do you think they’re short on a few hundred yuan?”

”Put yourself in their shoes, do you think he still wants to let you continue?”

”If you were in the workplace, offending both colleagues and bosses, shouldn’t they teach you a lesson, give you a hard time?”

The middle-aged woman was in high spirits, talking non-stop, completely oblivious to the principal’s side.

Originally somewhat relieved, Principal Wang suddenly felt his heartbeat rise.

Cold sweat started pouring down his back again, adhering his shirt to his skin.

Damn!

I’m about to retire soon, I’m Old Deng, don’t mess things up!

Yang Shu’s gaze grew even colder: ”Principal, is what she’s saying true?”

”No... no, I don’t know them, they’re just making things up, thinking others don’t know, using my name to seek benefits, I was unaware...”

Principal Wang’s voice quivered, he stammered, his voice shaky and unstable.

Watching that middle-aged woman striding away, leaving his equipment wrecked beyond recognition.

With no alternative, Wang Zihao ran directly in front of the principal, knelt down, and kowtowed:

”Principal, I’m begging you, please ask the cafeteria manager to be lenient, I really need this stall to make a living.”

”I promise, from today on, I’ll definitely raise the price of the noodles, devote more to him, and as for the profits, I won’t keep seventy percent anymore, I’ll give him fifty, please...”

It’s over!

Seeing this scene, Principal Wang nearly fainted in distress, staggering almost to the point of collapsing.
