Within the Sanqing Hall, the original Three Pure Ones Statue disappeared without a trace.

And to replace the Three Pure Ones Statue, there was unexpectedly a Guanyin Statue!

Li Daocheng stepped back three steps, looking forward with full disbelief.

Then, as if remembering something, Li Daocheng turned his head towards the nearby main hall.

Xiaolitou quickly followed, and when he saw Li Daocheng, his face was completely distorted, his anger like thunder, dreadful and restless!

In the Thunder Ancestor Hall, the Thunder Ancestor statue also disappeared, replaced by a Joyful Buddha with a bare chest!

What the hell!

Not only Li Daocheng, but even the irrelevant viewers in the livestream were stunned seeing this scene.

”Wow, this is a bit outrageous, isn’t it? The guy goes out to travel, and as soon as he leaves, his home gets blatantly robbed.”

”No way, is this bald donkey looking to die? This is blatant provocation! Replacing the Daoist Thunder Ancestor with the Joyful Buddha, isn’t this declaration of war?”

”In other words, this is like you just leave home, and a stranger barges into your house, makes a mess, takes all valuable things, and casually throws your ancestor’s memorial tablet somewhere unknown, replacing it with his ancestor’s, and expects you to worship his forebear.”

”Is this even something a person would do? Is this human! Is there any law, any order anymore?!”

”Damn it, my home is near Cishan, I can’t stand this anymore, are there any good buddies to go confront him with me!”

”...”

Li Daocheng was bubbling with anger, directly walking out of the hall to seek out these bald monk donkeys.

Soon, Li Daocheng found these monks.

The originally quiet side hall was now filled with burning incense overwhelming the nostrils, and the noisy cries made Li Daocheng even more furious.

Inside the side hall, it was all gold and silver, glittering everywhere, not a bit resembling the appearance of a renunciant.

Li Daocheng grew angrier as he looked and charged into the side hall, wanting to find the person in charge.

”Please halt, kind sir.”

He had just stepped into the side hall, not even two steps in, when a man stopped him.

A fat monk appeared from nowhere and unwittingly pulled Li Daocheng to his stall.

Li Daocheng frowned, his face exceptionally grim: ”You, what do you want?”

”Amitabha.”

The fat monk chanted a Buddhist blessing, then said: ”I see you look dignified, with exceptional bearing, coming to my Buddhist family especially dressed in a Daoist robe. If I’m not mistaken, you must be a cosplay enthusiast.”

”Although you look somewhat older, your mind is still open, keeping up with the trend of the times. That’s why I dared pull you over.”

This scene was captured by the entering Xiaolitou, and the viewers of the livestream laughed radiantly.

”Hilarious, LOL, cosplay, the monk sure can come up with things, he managed to smooth it all over.”

”Stop it, dude, your brain is just there to increase your height, huh? Use your brain a bit, he’s quite old, doesn’t even use the internet, how could he cosplay, hahaha.”

”Well, this guy might have suspected, but besides his previous explanation, I guess he couldn’t think of another reason, who would think that among a group of monks, an actual Daoist would come looking for trouble.”

”Bah! What do you mean coming looking for trouble, I don’t like your wording! It was originally the veteran Daoist Master’s temple, just robbed by these shameless thieves.”

”Exactly, the Daoist Master’s act is one of justice, I support him!”

”...”

Although Li Daocheng didn’t understand what cosplay meant, he knew the bald donkey got it wrong.

Li Daocheng was about to curse but then thought of something, so he followed the fat monk’s lead and said: ”You could see that, usually I thought people couldn’t.”

The fat monk inwardly sneered twice at this sight.

Others didn’t see? Come on grandpa, given your age, others not pointing it out is the thing!

Thinking this in his heart, the fat monk’s face still overflowed with smiles: ”See, you look so handsome and tall in a Daoist robe. If you wear our premium robes, it’s even better, dual cultivation of Daoism and Buddhism, that’s real ability!”

Saying this, the fat monk put his palms together and bowed to Li Daocheng.

Then the fat monk pulled a robe out from the carpet, proudly saying:

”Kind sir, you see, my robe is extraordinary; its history can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. You should know of Tang Sanzang going west for scriptures, right? This robe was the one he wore just before his departure.”

”Kind sir, if you purchase this robe, you’ll be free from all ailments, perhaps not live forever, but certainly prolong your life, with great benefits!”

”Moreover, the status of this robe is very high; once you wear it and visit temples with noble virtue scholars, I guarantee, wherever you go, you’ll be the most respected guest, combined with your unique aura, many will believe you’re the reincarnation of a living Buddha.”

The fat monk spoke incessantly, spit nearly flying onto Li Daocheng’s face.

Li Daocheng’s face was livid, with no desire except to beat up the guy in front of him.

And the livestream viewers nearly laughed until they couldn’t breathe.

”Laughable, pulling Tang Sanzang into it, why not go more outrageous, with extra historical depth by hundreds of years, you could swindle a lot more money.”
