Ning An's Wild Wish System

Li Xuan walked out of the classroom, crossed the corridor, and reached the other end.

Year three, class one (Honors class).

Where Song Zhuofan’s class was.

”Bang bang bang!”

Li Xuan had barely knocked on the door when it creaked open.

”Don’t speak just yet. This week your class is in charge of the cafeteria. Hmph, I know what you’re up to.”

The one who opened the door was a boy with black glasses. Though he wasn’t tall, his lively eyes were full of energy:

”You want to organize a student protest to resist the cafeteria’s atrocious food, huh.”

Oh, wow!

Li Xuan was the one shocked this time.

No wonder he’s the honors class president—his thinking is truly on another level!

”Don’t worry!”

Before Li Xuan could think further, he heard the honors class president say lightly:

”Thank you, thank you.”

Li Xuan felt a bit touched instantly.

We all know that uprisings in ancient times were possible, but it’s dangerous if it’s just the peasants; even if they succeed, there’s bound to be a reckoning.

And the same principle applies in school: their class six is an ordinary class, and not even a very good one among ordinary classes.

The school’s leadership doesn’t care at all about their bottom-of-the-barrel class’s college entrance exam results.

After all, a phoenix emerging from a bunch of chickens is far less likely than one among the phoenixes devolving into a chicken.

And the honors class, those phoenixes, are the school’s real achievements.

They are the guarantee of this year’s bonuses and awards and also the shining beacon for next year’s admissions.

Therefore, if it’s only their class rising up, even if successful, the school will not take it seriously.

Who would care about students who don’t account for achievements?

But the honors class is different. If an uprising includes them, even if it fails, the school will pay serious attention—the cafeteria may not change drastically, but at least it won’t dare to be as arrogant as before.

Li Xuan was secretly thinking about this when he heard the other side say another floating sentence:

”I will not mix myself into your affairs.”

”Hmm, okay, when you guys... huh?”

Li Xuan did not react immediately and was about to express his ideas.

Once he realized, he widened his eyes, looking incredulously at the other person.

The honors class president was picking at his nails, seemingly not noticing his gaze, and said indifferently:

”First, I don’t want my class involved in matters unrelated to studying.”

”And second?”

The honors class president finally looked up, curling his lips into a sinister smile:

”Hmph, there is no second, surprised?”

He finished speaking and turned his head back into the classroom, leaving behind:

”Excuse me.”

Seeing the honors class’s door close, Li Xuan felt both angry and frustrated, shouting towards the inside:

”Weren’t you also planning to write a petition a couple of weeks ago? Why not take this chance to join us?”

”Are you all too scared, wanting to be cowards!”

Hearing the angry shouts from outside the door, the honors class president drooped his eyelids, yawned, and seemed to mutter to himself:

”Hmph, there is actually a second reason.”

”Second, I don’t want to be part of a strike under his leadership; it’s ridiculous.”

”Besides, without Sister Song, how can I make the decision as class president?”

Seeing no further movement from inside, Li Xuan yelled angrily again:

”Hmph, then enjoy your cafeteria food!”

Immediately, without hesitation, he turned and walked towards the classroom next door.

Year three, class two (Quality class).

With a simple glance earlier, Li Xuan knocked on the quality class’s door.

In fact, during the previous major strike, the most enthusiastic wasn’t the honors class but the quality class.

Thus, Li Xuan didn’t linger long at the honors class; his hopes were mostly pinned on the quality class.

Of the ones who ran out of the honors class, the quality class had the best grades. Even if his plan didn’t involve the honors class, with just the good students from the quality class, the success rate was high.

With a creak, the quality class’s door opened.

Seeing the quality class president, Li Xuan quickly shared his plan.

Seeing Li Xuan’s expectant gaze, the quality class president remained silent for a long while.

”Strike, huh? It should last a week.”

”Last time our class struck for almost a week because the teacher wasn’t teaching well.”

Instantly, Li Xuan felt as if his heart was doused with cold water, chilled to the bone.

”Then...”

The quality class president shook his head, pointing at the honors class’s door:

”We can’t join this time. Although we have some privileges, we’re not the honors class. If you can convince the honors class, our class will definitely join in to support!”

Bang!

With a sound, the quality class’s door was closed.

Witnessing this, although Li Xuan’s heart was filled with an array of emotions, it ultimately felt like a punch hitting cotton, and he could only dejectedly return to his class.

”Oh, Teacher Wang?”

Just as he reached the door, Li Xuan saw the history teacher standing at the classroom door.

The history teacher was silently listening to the passionate voices inside, looking somewhat perplexed.

Seeing Li Xuan greet him suddenly, the history teacher beckoned him over.

”Xuan, I just overheard, it seems everyone is very opposed to the cafeteria?”

Li Xuan smiled wryly: ”Teacher Wang, to be honest, I suspect that we students are eating something different from the teachers’ meal batches.”

”What we students eat, not to say it’s pig food, is not much better than pig food. Moreover, the price is outrageously high.”

”We buy eggs from the faculty wives because they’re cheap; we’re trying to improve our meals.”

Listening to Li Xuan’s complaints, the history teacher was also taken aback: ”Is it really that bad?”
