Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

33: Notes of a Paranoid Educated Youth 2“Captain Zhou, it hurts so much~” Wen Ci whined again, softly and sweetly.

Zhou Linchuan abruptly let go of her, stood up, and turned his back to her, his voice hoarse, “Don’t provoke me.”

“You’ll regret it.”

Wen Ci looked at his tense back and suddenly smiled, “I won’t.”

These three words were like a dull knife, piercing deeply into Zhou Linchuan’s heart. His knuckles turned white as he clenched them, then he suddenly turned around, grabbed her wrist, and roughly retied the rope.

“You have no idea what you’re saying.”

The hemp rope dug into her skin, making Wen Ci gasp in pain. She said pitifully, “Zhou Linchuan, I like you.”

Zhou Linchuan’s movements suddenly paused.

An inexplicable crack appeared in his frozen heart.

The kerosene lamp flickered, revealing the surging undercurrents in his eyes.

“What did you say?” His voice was terrifyingly dangerous.

Wen Ci looked up, her eyelashes trembling slightly, her eyes red, as if she was truly deeply wronged.

“I’m so sorry for saying those things to you before…”

“But I really didn’t mean to, I just… just wanted to get your attention.”

Her voice grew softer and softer, with a hint of a sob, as if she was truly filled with regret.

“You are such a high and mighty person, and I… am just a disgraced, universally reviled capitalist young lady.”

“But I fell in love with you at first sight.”

“So, you know, I’m also very clumsy… and I could only think of this method to attract your attention.”

“Please don’t dislike me, okay?”

Zhou Linchuan stared at her, his eyes as deep as unmelting ink.

She actually said he was high and mighty?

No one had ever described him that way; those people wished they could step on him, wished they could hold their noses and stay far away from him.

But she actually said…

Of course he knew she was lying.

Wen Ci, this young lady who once cursed him with the most vicious words, calling him a “dog bastard,” how could she possibly fall in love with him at first sight?

But still…

Her eyes were moist, as if covered by a mist, her nose tip red from the cold, and her lips trembled slightly, as if she truly feared his dislike.

She acted so well.

A cold smile slowly curved on his lips. His thumb rubbed her wrist, the pressure increasing slightly.

“Wen Ci.”

“When you lie, your eyelashes tremble particularly violently.”

Wen Ci’s breathing hitched, her heart skipping a beat.

She had been seen through.

But she quickly adjusted her expression, tears welling in her eyes but not falling, her voice even softer, “I didn’t lie…”

“Zhou Linchuan, I really do like you.”

Zhou Linchuan looked at her deeply and let out a low chuckle.

The laugh was cold and deep, as if ground from his chest, carrying a hint of mockery, yet inexplicably making one’s heart tremble.

“Like me?”

“Then prove it to me.”

As soon as Zhou Linchuan finished speaking, Wen Ci moved.

She reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck, stood on her tiptoes, and directly kissed him.

It wasn’t the fleeting, testing touch from earlier.

It was a true, passionate, and initiative kiss.

Her lips were soft and cold, yet pressed against him with an undeniable force. As he gasped in surprise, her tongue lightly licked his lower lip.

Wet, warm.

Like an electric current, it instantly shot through Zhou Linchuan’s spine.

He trembled violently, his pupils suddenly contracting, his fingers unconsciously gripping her shoulders.

But he didn’t push her away.

The halo of the kerosene lamp swayed between them, casting their overlapping shadows on the mottled mud wall.

Wen Ci could clearly feel that Zhou Linchuan’s breathing was ragged.

His chest heaved violently, his Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, and the knuckles clenching her shoulders were white, as if he was trying desperately to restrain something.

Yet, his lips remained unmoving, allowing her to provoke him wantonly.

Was he indulging her, or was he simply stunned?

Wen Ci’s heart pounded. She deliberately licked his tightly pressed lips again, then slightly pulled back, her wet eyes looking at him, “Is this… enough proof?”

Her voice was light and soft, with a faint gasp, as if truly overcome with emotion.

Zhou Linchuan stared at her intently, an undercurrent surging in his eyes.

After a long moment, he seemed to react, staring straight at her, “Wen Ci, you really are…”

“Courting death.”

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly clasped the back of her head and fiercely kissed her back.

This kiss carried a long-suppressed brutality, as if he wanted to devour her. His teeth grazed her lips, and his tongue plunged in, sweeping through every inch of her mouth like a conquering army.

Wen Ci let out a muffled groan, her body instantly ignited, her fingers unconsciously clutching his collar.

Zhou Linchuan, however, seemed pleased by this action, letting out a low chuckle. His other hand gripped her waist, pulling her whole body into his embrace, kissing her even more aggressively.

Wen Ci twisted her waist uncomfortably.

Zhou Linchuan frowned, then immediately pulled away from her, stumbling back several steps before finally steadying himself.

He looked up at her.

The light from the kerosene lamp illuminated Wen Ci’s face, the shadows cast by her eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings.

Her eyes were too bright, so bright that he was momentarily dazed.

He knew she was just acting.

But still, his heart felt as if something had violently squeezed it, beating heavily and rapidly.

And, he, too, had lost control because of her.

Zhou Linchuan gritted his teeth and wiped his lips, “Don’t do such foolish things again.”

“Otherwise, I can’t guarantee you’ll leave this cowshed in one piece.”

Wen Ci could tell he was flustered.

But he was still stubborn.

Just then, a cold wind swept in, and Wen Ci began to shiver uncontrollably. Her skin was already fair, and with the wind, it became almost transparently pale, her lips, which had just been rosy and glistening, turned blue in an instant.

“Zhou Linchuan, I’m so cold.” Wen Ci looked at him pitifully.

Zhou Linchuan stared at her for a long time, then suddenly unbuttoned his jacket.

“…Troublesome.”

The warm coat, still carrying the faint scent of the man, was heavily wrapped around her.

Wen Ci’s eyes felt warm, “Zhou Linchuan…”

“Shut up.” He didn’t even look up as he helped her put on the coat, then turned and left.

Wen Ci tilted her head, watching his retreating figure. The man’s lean, powerful waist was even more alluring beneath the thin shirt; she just wondered what it would be like when he exerted himself.

Nestled inside the warm coat, she also felt a little sleepy.

Tonight had been too long and exhausting.

She curled up in the corner and fell asleep.

Meanwhile, at the entrance, the man who should have left returned and leaned against the doorway, watching her small figure curled in the corner, his gaze deep.

At the same time.

Lin Hongying suddenly opened her eyes, her back drenched in cold sweat.

She sat up abruptly, staring intently at the bright red slogan on the wall, “Class Struggle, Thorough to the End!”, her fingertips trembling as she touched her face.

She had been reborn.

She had returned to this year, when she was twenty-five, to… before she married Zhou Linchuan.

Memories of her previous life flooded back like a tide.

He gripped her wrist, his eyes sinister, “Lin Hongying, where did you go tonight?”

He tore up every letter she received, sneering, “Besides me, who is worthy of writing to you?”

The day she tried to escape, he looked at her coldly, his voice terrifyingly low, “If you dare to leave, I’ll break your legs.”

Suffocation, control, madness.

Lin Hongying clenched her fists, her nails digging deeply into her palms.

In this life, she would never repeat the same mistakes!

She absolutely could not let that lunatic Zhou Linchuan fall in love with her again.

Otherwise, her entire life would be ruined.

Zhou Linchuan was an out-and-out lunatic, a devil!

She must stay away from him!
