Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

20: The Yandere Warlord’s Substitute Bride 20General Fu carried Wen Ci, striding through the corridor, his military boots echoing with crisp, oppressive sounds on the bluestone slabs.

Wen Ci leaned languidly in his arms, her fingertips unconsciously twirling the cold brass buttons of his military uniform. As she played, her thick eyelashes slowly drooped, and her breathing became even and prolonged; she had peacefully fallen asleep in his embrace.

His embrace was unusually warm and steady, like a moving fortress, isolating all the noise and unease from the outside world. Lying in this solid haven, fatigue washed over her like a tide, and Wen Ci quickly sank into slumber.

Looking at the defenseless sleeping face of the person in his arms, her cherry lips slightly parted, General Fu’s heart felt as if it had been brushed by the softest feather, turning incredibly tender.

His wife, so delicate, so trusting of him, could sleep so peacefully in his arms. An indescribable tenderness and possessiveness surged in his chest.

His Adam’s apple bobbed silently. He lowered his gaze, staring at her smooth forehead, a battle raging in his heart.

He was afraid of disturbing her good sleep, yet also tempted by the warmth so close, making his heart burn.

Ultimately, desire triumphed over restraint. He bent his head extremely lightly and quickly, placing a feather-light, precious kiss on her brow.

“G-General?” a subordinate’s voice, deliberately lowered and filled with surprise, came from behind him.

General Fu’s movements instantly froze. He whipped his head around, his gaze like an ice-cold blade, piercing the subordinate.

The subordinate gasped, startled by Wen Ci in his arms and that icy stare. He immediately fell silent, bowing even lower, and whispered, “General, your orders.”

“Go buy something,” General Fu’s voice was extremely low, but his gaze lingered on Wen Ci’s serene sleeping face, not moving an inch.

“Yes! Please instruct, General.” The subordinate held his breath.

“One thing,” General Fu’s tone was calm and unwavering.

His slender finger, as if unintentionally, tapped the spot on his military uniform just below his collar, at his Adam’s apple.

The subordinate’s pupils dilated. His mouth opened and closed, like a fish thrown onto the shore.

The General’s neck size?! This... this information was too shocking. His brain instantly crashed, completely unable to comprehend the meaning behind this command.

Could it be... the General wanted to...? This thought was too preposterous, he dared not delve deeper.

“Still not going?” General Fu’s impatient, cold rebuke pulled him back to reality.

The subordinate jolted, hastily saluted, and retreated, his steps so stiff he almost stumbled. His mind was filled with that horrifying thought, feeling as if his worldview was on the verge of collapse.

Wen Ci slept soundly and sweetly the entire way. General Fu’s embrace was as steady as a rock, every subtle movement extremely careful, never allowing her to feel the slightest bump or discomfort.

It wasn’t until she felt herself gently placed on soft bedding, and a warm towel delicately wiped her cheeks and fingertips, that she slowly woke up, yawning languidly, her eyes still heavy with sleep.

As soon as she opened her eyes, she met a pair of deep, abyss-like eyes, shining brightly, a gaze so focused it seemed to want to draw her in.

“What’s wrong?” Her voice was soft and husky from just waking up.

General Fu’s Adam’s apple bobbed heavily, his eyes darkening.

He picked up a delicate velvet box beside him and opened it.

Wen Ci had expected it to be dazzling jewelry again, as he was always keen on such things.

However, what lay inside the box was not a gemstone, but a... a gold chain of extremely simple design, yet shining with a subtle luster? Its length was somewhat peculiar, and its shape also... carried an indescribable meaning?

Wen Ci tilted her head, her eyes full of confusion: “This is...?”

Soon, she saw it clearly.

“??? ” Wen Ci was completely stunned, her cherry lips slightly parted, revealing a rare, almost dazed expression.

General Fu looked at her like this, the fervent flame in his heart almost bursting forth.

He couldn’t resist. His calloused thumb gently pinched her delicate cheek, his voice low and taut, carrying a strange anticipation, his eyes swirling with excitement and cautious probing:

“A’ Ci.”

“...Do you still like it?”

Wen Ci’s fingertips touched the coldness, and she instantly understood its meaning.

She looked down at the end in her hand, then up at the shining one around his neck.

“Cast from pure gold, it will not harm Madam in the slightest,” General Fu knelt on one knee on the thick, soft rug, looking up at her.

“Now... I am here.” His deep eyes locked onto her, filled with undisguised desire. “Madam...”

Wen Ci’s fingers tightened, her knuckles turning white.

She lowered her gaze, looking at this man who should have been looking down on the world, holding power over life and death, yet now he was offering his most vulnerable lifeline into her hands like a sacrifice, willing to be controlled by her.

This extreme contrast and trust made her heart tremble.

“General Fu...” She called his name, her voice unsteady, with a tremor in her tone that she herself hadn’t noticed.

The man suddenly leaned down, his warm, thin lips pressing very carefully against the inside of her slender wrist—the place where her pulse beat, symbolizing life and connection.

His kiss was devout and burning, as if worshipping the only faith in the world.

“Madam... won’t you try its weight?”

Wen Ci’s heart pounded like a drum. Her fingertips suddenly exerted force, pulling down hard!

General Fu let out a low laugh, the sound resonating in his chest, full of triumphant pleasure and the excitement of being controlled.

He abruptly stood up, yet his movements still carried a careful gentleness towards her, enveloping her softly beneath him.

Just like their intense heartbeats. His burning lips pressed against her sensitive earlobe, his breath hot:

“You like it.” His voice was deep and hoarse, with an all-knowing certainty.

Wen Ci was completely ignited by this extreme intimacy and sense of control. All sleepiness vanished.

She took the initiative, her eyes flashing with a dangerous and captivating light, a wicked curve playing on her lips:

“General Fu, now you’re not afraid of me seeing it?” Her slender finger lightly traced his bobbing Adam’s apple.

General Fu trembled all over, stirred by her queen-like aura at that moment, yet his gaze, looking up at her, was filled with almost fanatical devotion.

“That’s different.”

“This is me, General Fu, accepting it with pleasure.” Every word he spoke was firm and resolute, carrying the finality of a sacrifice.

Because his wife would not despise his vulnerability; she would cherish all his true self—whether strong, or the tenderness born for her at this moment.

Wen Ci’s breath hitched. In his eyes, she saw a surging, almost destructive undercurrent. It was a complete, exposed offering, presenting his most unbearable, most vulnerable side, along with his deepest love and desire, all laid bare before her. It was both a test of her acceptance and absolute submission to her.

She drew a light breath, her scalp tingling, completely captivated by this extreme love and trust.

She no longer hesitated and kissed his cool lips.
