Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

17: The Yandere Warlord’s Substitute Bride 17Wen Ci lay limp on the disheveled brocade quilt, covered in sweat, her dark hair damp and clinging to her neck.

She lay there languidly on the bed, letting General Fu bring water to gently wipe her body.

The man’s broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted, slender body was covered in red marks she had scratched, which, with the rise and fall of his muscles as he moved and exerted himself, looked like a wild beast’s medals.

It was truly sensual, truly captivating.

General Fu’s muscles felt incredibly good, and they were beautifully sculpted, not overly explosive, which she disliked as it was too exaggerated.

She really liked General Fu’s physique; not only were his muscle lines beautiful, but the way they tensed when he exerted himself was even more enticing.

She wanted to reach out and touch him, but she was too lazy to move, so she just stared intently at the man’s pale, muscular body, which seemed to have a hint of pink...

Her gaze moved downwards, from the man’s impeccably handsome and charming face to his taut abs... below that were his pants.

She wanted to touch him, but her body was too soft and weak to move.

General Fu didn’t notice; he was kneeling on one knee at the edge of the bed, a warm silk handkerchief in his hand, meticulously wiping every inch of her sweat-soaked skin.

His expression was utterly focused, and his actions were delicate and considerate.

Wen Ci felt very comfortable, her eyes half-closed as she let him do as he pleased, watching his focused expression even as he carefully wiped between her fingers, her heart feeling soft.

General Fu’s movements suddenly paused as he was wiping.

He keenly caught Wen Ci’s moist eyes fixed on him, her gaze fervent and direct.

He couldn’t help but curve his lips.

”Madam,” he put down the handkerchief and suddenly grabbed her slender wrist, guiding her palm to his scorching abs, ”If you like it, touch it more.”

”Weren’t you done touching just now?” He leaned down and kissed her rosy lips, his voice hoarse beyond words, ”Are you asking for more?”

Feeling the heat beneath her palm, Wen Ci’s earlobes uncharacteristically flushed, and she wanted to pull her hand away.

”Why hide?” General Fu chuckled softly, his dark eyes dangerous and charming, ”Doesn’t Madam enjoy touching?”

”Look once, touch once, that’s the rule.”

Wen Ci had no choice but to let him pull her hand around, touching him.

As she touched him, she noticed the man’s breathing growing heavier, and his hand gradually slid to the small of her back, where he asked meaningfully, ”Does it... still ache here? Madam seemed to say she couldn’t take it anymore just now?” He even deliberately pressed it after speaking.

This caused Wen Ci to tremble slightly.

How could she not be able to take it? She immediately blurted out, ”Of course it doesn’t ache, not at all!”

As soon as the words left her mouth, she realized she had fallen into a trap and glared at General Fu.

The man had already begun to chuckle softly, amused by his wife’s expression, truly, she was too adorable.

His wife actually had such a cute side.

It was truly too interesting.

”Madam bit me so many times, aren’t you going to compensate me?”

Wen Ci quickly turned her head away.

This man knew she was lustful, so he was subtly enticing her.

”Alright, I won’t tease you anymore, let’s go. We’re almost done wiping, let’s go out and get something to eat.”

General Fu dressed himself, then dressed Wen Ci piece by piece, and finally even personally styled her hair.

Looking at herself in the mirror, looking no different from before, Wen Ci was a little surprised, ”When did you become so skillful? You’ve improved so quickly?”

General Fu embraced her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, deliberately exhaling warm air near her ear, his voice full of meaning, ”Has Madam only just realized how skillful my hands are?”

”I’ve improved in many areas, Madam should have experienced it quite… deeply, ah.”

Wen Ci couldn’t stand him anymore, she turned and bit him on the face, ”Alright, hurry up and go, I’m starving.”

”Okay, okay, whatever Madam says.” General Fu laughed like he was worth nothing, but being bitten only made him happier, covering his face and grinning.

When Wen Ci was escorted out by him, the lantern festival was at its peak, with the ten-mile long street illuminated as if it were daytime.

The entire city seemed to be covered by a gilded river of stars, thousands of lanterns swaying gracefully in the night breeze, illuminating the dark night sky as if it were day.

On both sides of the main street, vendors’ stalls were neatly arranged, filled with gems and spices from the Western Regions, pearls and coral from the South Sea, and silk shops hung brocades worth their weight in gold, shimmering with a flowing luster under the lamplight.

The sounds of people talking and laughing filled the entire street, vibrant and lively.

Wen Ci leaned against the railing, her dark hair swept up by the night wind, she narrowed her eyes slightly, very much enjoying the lively and vibrant scene.

Seeing her in such good spirits, General Fu couldn’t help but feel his own mood lighten.

He had long grown tired of these lantern festivals in the past, never feeling any emotion, but now, because of the person beside him, he seemed to feel some of the fun again.

But it wasn’t because of the lantern festival itself, but because of her beside him.

A feeling of unprecedented relaxation welled up in his heart, and he gently but firmly took her hand, their fingers intertwined.

Amidst the extravagant and dazzling lights that filled the sky, General Fu’s gaze remained fixed on Wen Ci, as if all the worldly splendor was merely a backdrop laid out for her.

They released a lantern together.

At this moment, General Fu’s heart was filled with unparalleled tranquility and happiness.

Everyone was chatting, drinking, eating, and having fun, and General Fu kept feeding his wife. In the past, he had never been interested in food, but now, he was dedicated to finding all the delicious things to offer to his wife.

”Do you like this, Madam?”

”How about this one, is it tasty?”

”And this one, Madam, would you like to try it?”

Wen Ci was fed until she was full and utterly content, but just then, a cold laugh suddenly came from nearby.

An old man in splendid robes walked over, leaning on a cane, his features bearing a three-point resemblance to General Fu, ”General Fu doesn’t even grace his own uncle’s birthday banquet, yet he has the leisure to play around with a woman here.”

The air suddenly solidified.

General Fu’s knuckles whitened, but his face remained stern, ”If Third Uncle needs wine, I’ll have ten jars sent to his grave tomorrow.”

The surrounding crowd gasped softly.

The old man’s face turned ugly, and he suddenly picked up a teacup nearby and smashed it on the ground, ”You’re truly becoming more and more capable, the Fu family has no room for a monster like you, who disowns his own family and kills without mercy!”

General Fu’s face was completely unperturbed as he chuckled, ”You’ve been saying that for twenty years, aren’t you tired of it?”

He had long grown accustomed to these words, but Wen Ci had not.

Upon hearing this, Wen Ci’s heart involuntarily winced.

Had General Fu grown up being cursed like this?

”Everyone, judge this fairly!” The old man suddenly turned to the guests, his voice hoarse, ”Back then, he even killed his own cousin...”

”Why doesn’t Third Uncle mention how he colluded with bandits to kidnap my mother back then?” General Fu suddenly interrupted, his voice so light it was as if he were discussing the weather, yet every word was chillingly cold.

Everyone present’s faces changed drastically; they dared not get involved in General Fu’s family matters.

They all wished they could cover their ears, fearing implication.

The old man’s face changed abruptly, and he slammed his cane heavily on the ground, ”Evidence?!”

”Evidence?” General Fu slowly took off his glasses and wiped them, ”I never need evidence to kill.”

Wen Ci was close to General Fu, and she could clearly perceive that he wasn’t as calm as he appeared on the surface; his eyelashes were trembling slightly.

Yet, he still pretended as if nothing was wrong, not wanting anyone to see his vulnerability.

She knew his mother had died tragically back then.

And indeed, she had been killed by his closest relatives.

He had avenged his mother, but ever since, he had also been trapped in a deep abyss of darkness.

No one is born cold and heartless.

General Fu’s current demeanor was a hardened armor forged by the betrayal of his closest kin.

The old man, still furious, roared and was about to continue, ”General Fu, you...”

”Have you said enough?”

Wen Ci’s clear voice suddenly rang out.

She stood up and positioned herself in front of General Fu. A gust of wind blew past, her dark hair fluttering in the night breeze like a screen blocking prying eyes, concealing General Fu’s downcast gaze.

No one could scrutinize his expression anymore.

Everyone’s gaze was fixed on Wen Ci’s face.

The old man stared at her face for a long while, seemingly somewhat stunned.
