Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

I deeply knitted my brows when I heard this.

The elder saw this, but she continued with a sigh, ”It wasn’t just her that he abused. He even started abusing Moon in the end because of his frustrations on how she turned out. After a certain point, she just couldn’t take it anymore.”

A strange look appeared on my face when I heard this.

After all, the way that she said this was almost as if she was implying something.

And based on what I knew about the kind of person that Aisha was…

The elder naturally knew that I could understand based on the look on my face, so she said with a nod, ”She got rid of him forever.”

There was a sigh that came from me, but it was a complicated one that was filled with mixed feelings.

After all, I really didn’t know how to feel about all of this.

The elder didn’t seem to mind this as she said, ”When comparing the two, there was no comparison at all. One is the high elf with the highest purity bloodline that has been seen in a long time while the other is a normal elf. It’s clear which side the Elven Kingdom would support. But it reached the point where she felt nothing for the Elven Kingdom anymore.”

I narrowed my eyes to look at the elder.

Though she could see the way that I looked at her, she continued with her story though there wasn’t much left at this point.

The ending of the story was that Aisha no longer cared about the Elven Kingdom or what any of the other elves thought. She just went off on her own to explore the world, to regain her freedom.

She even left behind her mother and her daughter for this.

”You’re a horrible mother.” I said to the elder when she finished her story.

Though she was my grandmother in law, I really felt like I had to say this.

A bitter smile appeared on the face of the elder when she heard this, but she didn’t say anything to refute it. In fact, the look in her eyes showed that she recognized this as well.

It showed that she was fully aware of this.

Eventually, she said with a sigh, ”That’s the reason why I took my granddaughter and came all the way to this village. In a way, it’s my way of atoning.”

I didn’t say anything as I just looked at her with the same narrowed eyes.

I could understand why she did what she did, but that didn’t mean that I could accept it or sympathize with her. The things that the elder did were all things that she chose to do, so the consequences that came were the consequences of her own actions.

Seeing that I didn’t say anything, the elder suddenly said, ”I know that it doesn’t really help you to hear this story, but I just wanted to make sure that you knew.”

I looked at her with the same narrowed eyes for a bit before suddenly asking, ”Did you hear what we said earlier?”

The elder slowly shook her head before saying, ”I didn’t hear a single thing. I was just passing by and could tell that something happened, so I wanted to tell you this story.”

I didn’t say anything as I continued looking at her with those narrowed eyes, but this time I was trying to scrutinize her to see if she was being serious.

Seeing the sincere look that she had in her eyes, I slowly gave a nod.

But even if this was the case, it wasn’t as if it helped me.

Rather, it just made things worse since I knew the relationship between them.

I could have ignored all of it, but Moon was my wife…

The elder could see the look of thought that was on my face, so she stood up and started walking out of the room to give me some privacy. Though as she was leaving, she walked past me and patted me on the shoulder before saying something.

”I don’t know what kind of decision you will make. The only thing that I can tell you is to make sure that you don’t regret this decision. A wrong decision at a time like this will only haunt you for the rest of your life.”

The bitter smile that was on her face as she said this showed that she was speaking from personal experience.

But she also didn’t wait for me to say anything as she walked out of the room.

Once she was gone, there was a bitter smile that appeared on my face as well.

The things that the elder said really were weighing on my mind. The things that she said certainly made things much more difficult for me.

Though it wasn’t the decision itself that was more difficult for me.

It was just more difficult for me to think of a way to handle this matter.

In the first place, Aisha was my mother in law.

That was a line that just couldn’t be crossed in my mind, so it wasn’t as if I had ever considered anything that she was offering. Even if there were other things added on top, I would never consider something like this.

But I also didn’t want to hurt their feelings…

That meant that I wanted to think of a way to gently convince them against this.

It really hurt my brain thinking about all of this and in the end…

”Those idiot elves, forcing her to marry someone like that…I really don’t know what they’re thinking. There’s no happiness in that no matter how one looks at it. The elves are supposed to be much more pure than that in the first place. Which developer was it that came up with this kind of backstory for Aisha?”

All I could do was complain about the design of this world.
