Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

After leaving the ruins, the first thing that we had to do was report back to the Democratic Union group.

Even if we didn’t want to, it wasn’t as if it was possible for us to avoid them since they had completely locked down the area. We could try leaving with the wyverns, but they would certainly be able to spot us.

Not to mention that we were here on a diplomatic mission in the first place.

Just leaving without saying anything definitely wouldn’t be a good thing to do.

Only I knew that something was about to happen…

”What happened in there?”

There was no lack of questions that came from the Democratic Union side when we came back from the ruins.

Since they didn’t see what happened, it was only natural that they would ask questions to find out what happened.

This was their land that this happened on, so they would want as much information as they could about this disaster that happened on their land.

Only, we couldn’t give them that much information.

”We found the Relic of Destruction that was causing the corruption energy to surge out. However, we weren’t able to seal it in the end, so we had no choice but to destroy it.”

That was the response that the two popes gave them since that was what we agreed on, but it seemed like they didn’t really believe us. It was just that they couldn’t really say anything about this matter.

If we had different statuses, then they might have said a few more things.

But with the statuses that we had, they had to show some kind of discretion.

Though the commander that had been antagonistic against us since the beginning seemed like he didn’t want to drop the matter. It really seemed like he wanted to interrogate us for all the information that we could give.

Only there was someone that spoke that stopped him in his tracks.

”Alright, since this matter is over, let’s leave things as they are.”

As soon as the president spoke, it wasn’t as if there was anything else that the commander could say. The president was the leader of the army and he had to follow what his leader said.

Though there was something that the president added in the end.

”Now that the corruption energy has been taken care of, it’s only natural that we go in and investigate the land, right? I’m sure that you won’t keep us away from our own land.” He said with a sly smile.

I couldn’t help giving a disdainful laugh when I saw this.

This president of the Democratic Union…

When his life was in danger, he acted completely differently.

But now that there was no danger to his life, he was filled with confidence and started acting sly once more.

With the sly way that he acted, I could understand how he was able to seize power.

He was one of those people that knew how to manipulate people, but he wasn’t one of those people that had actual power himself.

Only it wasn’t as if I had a reason to stop him.

This was the land of the Democratic Union in the end, so it was only natural that they would check the place where the Relic of Destruction was sealed now that this was all over.

We didn’t have any reason or rights to stop them.

”Of course not. We’ll be heading back to rest now.” The popes said without any hesitation.

The president gave a nod before arranging his escorts to bring us back. It seemed that he was planning on remaining in this place to take a closer look at the area, at where the Relic of Destruction had been previously.

However, it didn’t matter how they looked at this place since everything had already been taken.

Even if they searched carefully, they wouldn’t find a single thing useful.

As such, we were very relaxed as we headed back to the capital.

During this time, I seized the chance to talk to Aisha about something.

It was time that I finally came clean.

I hadn’t done it while we were still in the ruins since there was no telling what would happen while we were still in the ruins. But now that we were out of the ruins, I had to tell her the truth.

”You’re my son in law?” Aisha asked with a strange look on her face after hearing what I said.

I just gave a simple firm nod in response.

There was an awkward silence that filled the air as she didn’t say anything and continued to look at me with this strange look.

It really was a good thing that I had everyone else leave the carriage that we were in or else it would have gotten even more awkward.

But after a while, she finally said, ”Well, I guess that’s fine.”

This time, it was my turn to reveal a strange look.

After all, it felt like she had accepted this a bit too easily…

As if she could guess what I was thinking, Aisha said, ”I give my daughter the freedom that she wants, so she can do what she wants to do. She’s her own person and she can choose who she wants to be with.”

The smile on her face made it seem like she was very sincere about all of this, but then…

Her expression changed as she said, ”It seems that the person that my daughter chose is quite interesting. Even I can’t help being interested in this son of law of mine.”

The way that she looked at me as she said this sent a chill down my spine.

It wasn’t the kind of chill that one felt when they were scared, it was a different kind of chill.

And this was all because of the way that she was looking at me.

I really didn’t know what to say in response to this.

But in the end, Aisha made the decision for me.

”I guess it’s time to go home and see my daughter.”
