Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Even though we had already finished with what we came here to do, it wasn’t as if we could just leave the Democratic Union like this.

After all, we had come with the two popes as part of a diplomatic delegation.

If we were to leave right after solving the problem of the corruption energy, it would damage the relationship between the Democratic Union and the Holy Empire.

This was the time where the four empires of the human race had to come together to fight against the forces of Destruction. So it wasn’t as if any rifts could appear between any of the four empires.

Though the other part of it was because we couldn’t leave even if we wanted to.

There were guards that were posted outside where we were resting.

The explanation that they gave us was that they were here to protect us, but we all knew that they had been placed here to prevent us from leaving.

Only one person was capable of doing something like this.

Only one person could do whatever he wanted in the Democratic Union like this.

And the next day, I was brought forward to meet with this one person.

It was just me alone, there was no one else that came with me to this meeting.

Even though the two popes seemed like they wanted to come along, they were stopped in the end.

It wasn’t that they were following the commands of the Democratic Union, it was just that the president arranged something else for them. The thing that he arranged was something that these two popes couldn’t reject.

So in the end, the two of them had no choice but to do it for the sake of the relationship between the Democratic Union and the Holy Empire.

Even though they didn’t seem willing to let me meet the president alone.

As I had expected, he really was a sly person.

He even manipulated the popes like this so they had no choice but to go along with his arrangements.

It was very clear how this president took the position that he was currently in.

I also had to admit that I was curious as to why he wanted to meet me.

But the moment that we met, I was taken aback by the proposal that he had for me.

It was certainly one that I didn’t expect, but I had to admit that he was quite bold for saying something like this.

It really made me see him in a different light.

”I know that you have relics from the gods, or else you wouldn’t have been able to deal with the Relic of Destruction as you called it. Since that’s the case, I just want to know, what is your price?”

He even said this with a smile on his face as if he wasn’t bothered by the words that he said.

I narrowed my eyes to look at the president before saying, ”I don’t think that you can afford it.”

The president’s smile didn’t disappear as he continued looking at me. After a while, he finally said, ”Oh, but I think that I can. I know that there’s nothing in this world that doesn’t have a price, I just want to know what yours is.”

This time, I didn’t bother giving him an answer.

When the president saw this, he didn’t seem to mind as he suddenly stood up.

He walked over to one of the cabinets that was on the side and pulled something out.

The moment that he pulled this thing out, he didn’t hesitate to point it right at me.

A pistol.

He pointed this pistol right at my head.

However, I didn’t panic when I saw this since I knew that it would be impossible for him to actually shoot this pistol. If he were to do this, there was no doubt that it would result in a large international incident and even the Democratic Union wouldn’t get out of this unscathed.

After pointing it at my head for a bit, he seemed a bit disappointed before coming forward to place that pistol on the coffee table in front of me.

Putting it down like this, he said, ”I’m sure that you’re interested in this.”

Once again, I didn’t say anything. Once again, he didn’t mind as he continued speaking.

”Though I’m sure that it’s not this small thing that you’re interested in since I’ve seen the things that you’ve developed on your own. They aren’t as powerful as our weapons, but they certainly are something special for things that you’ve developed on your own.”

Then with a more serious look, he said, ”But I highly doubt that your technology will reach the same level as ours. Our heavy weapons aren’t that easy to decode or reproduce.”

This time, I finally slowly gave a nod in response.

At this, the president once again revealed a smile as he said, ”Then sell us your relics for them. I’ll give you something special for each relic that you bring me.” After a pause, it was as if he was thinking about something before he said, ”Also give me that wyvern of yours.”

When he said this, there was a look in his eyes that showed just how much he wanted Joan for himself.

I didn’t say anything at first as I just looked at him, but seeing that his expression didn’t change, I finally said, ”No.”

The president seemed surprised as if he clearly didn’t expect this, but then he said, ”Why?”

”You can’t afford it.” I said once again without any hesitation.

This time, the president slightly knitted his brows as he looked at me.

But eventually, he waved his hand and said, ”If that’s the case, then you can go.”

I was a bit surprised that he didn’t say anything else on this matter, but it seemed like he really didn’t have anything else to say to me.

When I left…

”It’s a shame that we couldn’t agree.” The president said with a sigh.

But the look in his eyes didn’t seem like he had given up.
