Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

I knew that the president wouldn’t give up that easily, which was why I had my guard up since the meeting with him.

But in the end, it didn’t seem like he was planning to do anything.

The next few days passed by without incident.

This time was spent meeting with the different important people of the Democratic Union.

Even if the meeting with the president didn’t exactly go well, that didn’t mean that I couldn’t build a relationship with the others of the Democratic Union. All nations were made of different people and relationships would be useful one day.

Especially those that came from one of the four empires.

Even when we were leaving, it didn’t seem like the president was interested in us as he didn’t even bother sending us off.

Though it didn’t seem like there was a problem with the relationship between the Holy Empire and the Democratic Union since important people still came to see us off. It was just that it seemed like the president had completely lost interest in us.

But I knew that this wasn’t the case…

I just couldn’t help wondering what he was planning.

The next destination that we headed to was back to the Holy Empire.

Now that we had found one of the Relics of Destruction, what we needed to do was seal it off.

That could only be done in the Holy Empire where the places to seal off this Relic of Destruction had been prepared.

Though it did seem like the two popes weren’t that keen on bringing it back with them.

It wasn’t that they were afraid of the Relic of Destruction or that they didn’t prepare a place to seal it off. It was that they still seemed like they still wanted me to take this Relic of Destruction with me.

But no matter how they looked at me, I refused to take this thing with me.

So in the end, the only thing that they could do was seal it off.

Since we had the Relic of Destruction in our possession, we didn’t waste any time in returning to the Holy Empire.

Once we arrived, the first thing that we did was put the Relic of Destruction into the main church.

The four locations that had been prepared were all in the main church, but they were in the four cardinal directions of the main church. With the way that things were spread out, the Relic of Destruction wouldn’t be able to interact with each other.

But at the same time, it also created a holy magic array that would suppress the power of the Relic of Destruction.

In fact, the more Relics of Destruction that were found, the stronger the array would become. In a way, it was using the power of the Relics of Destruction to seal off the Relics of Destruction.

I didn’t really have any doubts of the capabilities of the Holy Empire, so I didn’t bother inspecting the array that they placed to begin with.

At the same time, I just wanted to get away from the Relic of Destruction as soon as possible.

After the Relic of Destruction was sealed, I said my goodbyes and prepared to head off again.

Though there were more Relics of Destruction, it wasn’t as if I could just go on the hunt for them full time. At the same time, it would take time to find the places that the Relics of Destruction were.

The gods had only given me the general area of where they were.

It was lucky that one of them was in the Democratic Union.

The others weren’t as lucky as they were in remote parts of the continent that no one really knew about. So the Holy Empire was planning on sending out teams to scout out those areas and find those ruins.

Before they found them, there was nothing that I had to do.

That was why I was heading back to the Kite Kingdom.

Regardless of how much time I spent away from my kingdom, I was still the king and had to go back. At the same time, there were still my children that were waiting for me to return.

What kind of father would I be if I remained outside all the time?

It was just that when we left the Holy Empire to return to the Kite Kingdom, there was someone else that came with us.

I looked at her with an awkward look on my face before saying, ”Your holiness, are you sure that you should be coming with us?”

The saintess looked back at me with a smile as if she wasn’t bothered by this at all as she said, ”It’s only natural that we should send a delegate to your kingdom. This is something that should have been done a long time ago, but it’s been swept under the rug with everything that’s happened. So now we’re just making up for everything that we missed.”

Though she said this as if it was a natural thing, the looks on the faces of the people around her didn’t seem natural.

Even if what she said was correct, there was one problem with this.

It was the fact that she herself was acting as the delegate being sent to our kingdom.

The status that the saintess had was very special in the Holy Empire and it was very unlikely that she would ever leave the borders of the Holy Empire. Even if she did, it would only be for things that were of the utmost importance.

It certainly wouldn’t be for something like visiting a kingdom as a diplomat.

But I knew the reason that she was being sent to the Kite Kingdom.

It was because they wanted to send the saintess to either watch over me or to help me.

However, I could also see something different from the eyes of the saintess.

She had visible excitement in her eyes that made it very clear what she was feeling.

”Well, she doesn’t get the chance to leave the Holy Empire that often.” I said silently to myself with a sigh.
