Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2478: Weʼve All Been Waiting for This Day

This isn’t a great thing for them, none of them have plans to refuse.

“Alright.”

An Que was solely focused on getting this matter resolved quickly, not noticing that the people in front of him were just as eager.

“Shall we go find the Chief now?” he asked.

“No, there’s no need.”

The middle-aged man saw him about to take so many people to find the Chief and immediately stepped out to oppose it.

“It’s inappropriate for so many people to go find the Chief, best to send one person to invite him over. San, it’s you, go find the Chief and ask him to come over to preside for Que’er.”

“Got it, I’ll go right away.”

San, who was named, turned around and left.

…

“He’s willing to hand over all the land under his name?”

The Chief heard San’s words, a hint of surprise flashed through his eyes. This An Que had quite the reputation in their village for being notable, mean-spirited, selfish, and with a high opinion of himself.

It’s just that no one wanted to offend him, so on the surface, they were still polite to him and his family.

Now, he’s willing to return all the land under his name, isn’t that a great thing?

But he didn’t understand why An Que suddenly wanted to return the land to everyone. Did something happen? Or is there some new policy from the county government?

“Yes, Chief, please go quickly, we’ve all been waiting for this day.” San didn’t have much complexity in his mind; the Chief asked him what, and he just answered truthfully.

He was anxious too, fearing that An Que made the decision impulsively, and once he comes to his senses, they won’t get this chance again.

Nowadays, they would rather pay taxes to the county government than give their grain to An Que’s family for free; who doesn’t know in An Clan Village that now it’s like the villagers, who have their land under An Que’s name, are supporting An Que’s whole family.

Sure, they are supporting them, hoping that maybe they would gain some benefit if Scholar An, or An Que, achieves something greater later.

But just look at how An Que’s family acts in the village, the way they behave when they go out, as if the villagers are benefiting a lot from An Que. An Que’s mother doesn’t even show respect to the village elders and scolds them as she pleases.

Is that reasonable?

Anyway, they don’t want to support An Que’s ungrateful family anymore. In the future, whoever wants to support them can go ahead.

“Alright, alright, I’ll head over now.”

The Chief also felt that since this matter was initiated by An Que himself, he should handle it quickly, so no one could criticize anyone at fault.

“Little Six, help Grandpa with the work here, Grandpa needs to go handle something.”

He handed over the hoe in his hand to his sixth grandson at home, then hurriedly followed San.

“Hey, Grandpa, should I call Dad to bring the ox cart for you?”

Little Six shouted loudly behind his grandfather, feeling this was a good thing too, if resolved, An Que would no longer be able to control the villagers.

No matter how great An Que’s future achievements might be, there’s no way they’d benefit from him a bit.

“Go, quickly fetch the ox cart to Scholar An’s doorstep.”

The Chief continued walking forward, shouting to his grandson; having the ox cart would speed things up.

“Alright, I’ll go harness the ox cart now.”

Little Six responded, put down the hoe, rushed home, and quickly harnessed an ox cart to take his grandfather to the county government.
