Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 754: Chapter 797: Uninvited Guest

But the old man had no one by his side! Even the only son he had now treated him like a stranger!

So, the old man’s heart was always empty and lonely!

In the six years before Xiao Bai, he couldn’t watch Xiao Bai grow up little by little in front of him, which was his regret! If he’s unable to accompany little Chu Yi growing up, the old man will definitely be even more regretful!

She only hoped that the relationship between Uncle and the old man could gradually ease because of little Chu Yi!

Mu Beiting seemed completely oblivious to Ye Anxin’s well-meaning efforts. His deep eyes were fixed on Mu Huajian holding little Chu Yi, as if guarding against a thief, fearing Mu Huajian might hurt his child!

Yan Qinghan sat opposite Mu Beiting, taking in his entire expression. Seeing Mu Beiting like that, he couldn’t help but tease, ”Tsk tsk tsk, Mu Beiting, who would have thought you’d have a day like this! I remember someone once said, being a daughter’s admirer is useless, didn’t you? You looked down on me back then; who’d have thought you’d end up here too?”

Faced with Yan Qinghan’s mockery, Mu Beiting’s face turned increasingly grim, ”Shut up...!”

”Uncle Qinghan, you have no idea, ever since my little sister was born, I’ve completely lost my standing in Dad’s eyes! All of Dad’s attention and focus is on my sister! The first thing he does after work every day is ask where my sister is, and then he holds her and won’t let her go, not even letting Mom hold her!” Xiao Bai complained while irritably trying to shake off Yan Chuxia’s hand, which was clinging to his arm!

Ever since stepping through the door earlier, Yan Chuxia had clung to him like sticky candy, impossible to shake off no matter how hard he tried!

Not only did she insist on sitting next to him, but she also held his arm tightly, as if afraid he’d leave!

The more Yan Chuxia clung to him like this, the more irritated he became! If it wasn’t his sister’s full month celebration today, he would have stayed as far away as possible!

”Mu Beiting, did you hear that? Even your son has started complaining! Even though your little wife had a daughter and you’re very happy, in the end, Xiao Bai is still your biological son. You can’t favor one over the other!” Yan Qinghan couldn’t help but stir up trouble while teasing!

Who told Mu Beiting to constantly look down on him for being a daughter’s admirer before! Now it was his turn; what goes around comes around! He wouldn’t be Yan Qinghan if he didn’t take this chance to mock him!

Seeing through Yan Qinghan’s plot at once, Ye Anxin warned discontentedly, ”Yan Qinghan, don’t you dare sow discord between Uncle and Xiao Bai! Let me tell you, Uncle treats Xiao Bai and Chu Yi the same. It’s just that Chu Yi is still young, doesn’t know anything, and she’s a girl, so he dotes on her a bit more!”

”Boring!” Seeing his scheme uncovered, Yan Qinghan pouted and lost interest, shutting his mouth without a word.

Seeing Yan Qinghan deflated, everyone laughed openly!

Just as the atmosphere around brightened, the door to the private room suddenly swung open! Everyone turned toward the door, and upon seeing the uninvited guest appear suddenly, the smiles on their faces froze instantly! Especially Mu Beiting, whose already grim face turned even darker!

Upon seeing who it was, Ye’s mother sprang from her seat, her tone unfriendly as she asked, ”Why have you come?”

The newcomer was none other than Ye Shan, who had been missing for over half a year!

To fit into this upscale hotel, Ye Shan had specially worn a sharp suit and even tied a tie!

Seeing the room full of ’Royal Family,’ Ye Shan’s smile unknowingly deepened, and he walked over with his head held high, smiling and saying, ”The way you talk, I am the child’s grandfather, Ye Anxin’s father; how could I be absent on such an occasion?”

Seeing Ye Shan’s shameless face, Ye’s mother’s face turned extremely unsightly, and without holding back, she bluntly ordered him to leave, ”How shameless can you be? After what happened last time, you still have the nerve to come back! Leave, you’re not welcome here, get out immediately!”

Faced with Ye’s mother’s merciless words, Ye Shan’s smile stiffened, and he retorted irritably, ”You old woman, what are you saying? Don’t slander me, I haven’t done anything! Let me tell you, Ye Anxin is my daughter, Ye Shan’s daughter; that’s an undeniable fact. Though it was my fault for suddenly leaving before, haven’t I come back repentant now? Alright, alright, stop fussing! The daughter hasn’t even spoken yet, and you won’t stop nagging!”

”You...!” Ye’s mother was left speechless with anger at Ye Shan’s shamelessness.

Seeing Ye’s mother no longer speaking, Ye Shan again flashed a smile. He glanced around the room and rested his gaze on the child held in Mu Huajian’s arms! Upon seeing little Chu Yi blinking her eyes and smiling at Mu Huajian, he beamed with joy, walked over, and reached out to touch her.

Unfortunately, just as his hand was about to touch little Chu Yi’s chubby cheek, Mu Huajian deftly sidestepped, avoiding his touch!

Ye Shan’s hand hung awkwardly in midair for a moment before he awkwardly retracted it, scratched his head, and laughed, saying, ”This little one is really pretty. Lucky she doesn’t look like her mom, or it’d be a disaster!”

Upon Ye Shan’s remarks, the atmosphere around suddenly became a bit peculiar.

Mu Beiting pressed a red service button with a sullen face! Soon, a hotel attendant entered and respectfully asked, ”Mr. Mu, do you have any instructions?”

Mu Beiting pointed at Ye Shan and coldly said, ”Throw him out for me. If anyone else dares to let him in without permission, your hotel might as well stop operating!”

The attendant followed Mu Beiting’s finger with his gaze, first stunned, then walked over, politely smiling, ”Sir, could you please follow me out?”

Seeing Mu Beiting unceremoniously having him thrown out, Ye Shan felt humiliated, his old face flushed, and he retorted angrily, ”What are you doing? I’m the child’s grandfather. I have the right to stay here. None of you can make me leave! If you make me leave, it means you don’t care for the elderly and don’t respect your elders!”

”Sir, I’m sorry, please follow me out!” The attendant didn’t care who Ye Shan claimed to be; he just knew that when Mr. Mu spoke, he had to make the person leave! Otherwise, not only could he lose his job, but the hotel’s operation could be at stake.

Seeing no one in the room speaking up for him, Ye Shan simply plopped down on a chair, shamelessly saying, ”I’m not leaving, I’m not leaving! It’s my granddaughter’s full moon celebration, I have a right to stay here, I just won’t leave!”
