Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 337: Chapter 337: At a Loss

Ye Anxin’s hand hung in mid-air, completely unable to react!

She... was she being rejected?

Huo Junmo rejected her, not letting her touch the child?

Huo Junmo kept his head down, his deep eyes unblinkingly staring at the exquisite girl in his arms, absolutely unwilling to look away even for a moment!

”Uncle...!” Without holding the child, Ye Anxin had to turn her head and look at Mu Beiting with grievance!

Seeing Huo Junmo’s attitude towards Huo Jiantian before, she really couldn’t see that Huo Junmo was a man who adored children so much!

The way he looked at his daughter in his arms was almost like the way he would look at a beloved woman; it was nauseatingly sweet!

Mu Beiting swept his long arm around Ye Anxin, pulling her into his arms, his thin lips pressed tightly, he didn’t say anything!

Soon, the door of the delivery room was pushed open again, and the already asleep Ling Yueyue was wheeled out by the medical staff!

”Yueyue!” Ye Anxin called out anxiously, hurriedly running over!

Huo Junmo, cradling the child, also surrounded her!

”The mother is tired now and must be sent to the ward to rest properly! The IV has been set up, and so far, the mother’s condition is good, so there’s no need for everyone to worry!” The doctor who followed out explained simply to Huo Junmo and then instructed the medical staff to send Ling Yueyue to a specific VIP ward!

Huo Junmo hurriedly followed with the child in his arms!

Ye Anxin, holding Mu Beiting’s hand, followed them as well!

After everyone worked together to lift Ling Yueyue onto the hospital bed, the doctor took the child from Huo Junmo’s arms, laying her sideways on the specialized baby bed beside her, then carefully instructed, ”The child has just been born, and should be placed sideways on the bed to expel all the amniotic fluid! In this first hour, do not feed her anything, not even plain water! After about an hour, when most of the amniotic fluid is expelled, you can try giving her a small amount of warm water!”

Huo Junmo nodded earnestly, ”Okay! We understand!”

”If anything arises, contact us at any time! We’ll leave first!” With that, the doctor nodded to Huo Junmo and left with the accompanying nurse!

Huo Junmo stood between the hospital bed and the baby bed, his gaze frequently darting between Ling Yueyue and the child!

Ye Anxin sat on the chair beside the hospital bed, gently touching the hair on Ling Yueyue’s forehead, still feeling a lingering fear about the life-and-death situation earlier!

Ling Yueyue was her best, and only, confidante in her life! She simply couldn’t imagine how she would manage without Yueyue by her side!

Ye Anxin involuntarily said, ”Yueyue is really brave!”

Mu Beiting stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders, ”Every woman is brave.”

Ye Anxin smiled with pursed lips, not speaking further!

The ward became extraordinarily quiet for a moment!

At that moment, the little girl, who had been lying sideways on the bed with her big eyes wandering around, suddenly started crying loudly!

Huo Junmo became anxious, ready to reach out and hold her, but was immediately stopped by Ye Anxin, ”Mr. Huo, the doctor said to let her lie like this for a while, only this way can the amniotic fluid be expelled from her body! Don’t worry, she’s just hungry! Once most of the amniotic fluid is expelled, she can drink some water!”

Hearing the baby’s cries, Huo Junmo became flustered, ”But, but she’s crying so hard?”

Having never seen the mature and steady Huo Junmo like this, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but laugh, ”Every baby is like this at birth, it’ll be fine in a while! If you hold her now, and the amniotic fluid isn’t expelled, what will you do then?!”

Scared by Ye Anxin’s words, Huo Junmo finally dared not touch the child again, just looking at her with pain in his eyes, as if wishing he could bear all the suffering himself!

Ye Anxin blinked her bright eyes at Huo Junmo for a while, teasing, ”I say Mr. Huo, isn’t this your first child? Why are you acting like a new dad? How will Tiantian feel seeing this? He’ll get jealous!”

At these words, Huo Junmo’s tall figure visibly flinched, and the heartache on his face finally eased a bit!

Ye Anxin came to the baby bed, looking at the little girl inside, curiously asking, ”Have you named the child? What’s the name?”

Huo Junmo paused, looking at the crying little girl thoughtfully, ”Her nickname is Tiantian; her formal name will be chosen by Yueyue when she wakes!”

”Tiantian?” As soon as Ye Anxin said this, the little girl lying on her side in the baby bed suddenly grinned, her expression utterly sweet!

Seeing this, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but feel delighted, ”Tiantian is perfect, the name is truly fitting, the little one smiles so sweetly, it really suits her! I think her formal name should just be Sweet Heart! Huo Tianxin, what a lovely name!”

Huo Junmo glanced at Ye Anxin without speaking, continuing to gaze at Tiantian on the bed!

Finally after enduring an hour, Huo Junmo couldn’t wait any longer and scooped up the child, feeding her with a bottle!

Feeling something approach her mouth, Tiantian immediately clamped onto the teat and started sucking eagerly!

Newborns have no sense of taste at all, they just stop crying as long as something fills their stomach!

After drinking for a while, her tiny belly was finally full, and then she yawned, closed her eyes, and lazily fell asleep!

Huo Junmo held the already asleep Tiantian tightly in his arms, unwilling to put her back into the baby bed!

Seeing Huo Junmo not showing any signs of putting Tiantian down, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but remind him, ”Mr. Huo, Tiantian is asleep, you should put her down! Otherwise, you’ll spoil her, and she won’t sleep in the bed, she’ll just want to be held every day! At that time, you will be the ones suffering!”

Huo Junmo raised an eyebrow and said indifferently, ”Girls are meant to be spoiled, there are many people at home, how can there be no one to hold her!”

”...!” Hearing his words, Ye Anxin was momentarily speechless!

This guy knows how to spoil kids too much, doesn’t he? At this rate, won’t Tiantian be spoiled rotten?

But there’s nothing she can do, it’s family matters, she can’t interfere, it’s useless to say more, just let them be!

Ye Anxin didn’t say anything further, lazily yawned.

Mu Beiting warmly suggested, ”If you’re sleepy, take a nap on the sofa!”

”Hmm!” Ye Anxin nodded, and together with Mu Beiting, went to the sofa; Mu Beiting sat down, Ye Anxin lay down, resting her head on Mu Beiting’s lap, and soon fell asleep!

She was really too tired! She was about to fall asleep outside the delivery room earlier, but the doctor’s words startled her wide awake!

Now that the child was safely born and Yueyue had passed the danger period, her tension immediately vanished, and she naturally fell asleep quickly!

The ward once more descended into silence! Huo Junmo sat in the chair, his eyes tightly locked onto his sleeping daughter, filled with tenderness!
