Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 328: Chapter 328: Stroll

Seeing Mu Beiting looking all anxious, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but tease him, ”Oh dear, I’m not sick, I can move! Uncle, you don’t have to take care of me like I’m an old lady! I can get up myself!”

Mu Beiting said seriously, ”You’re pregnant! You need to be extra careful!”

”I just got pregnant, haven’t even felt anything yet! It’s not like I’m seven or eight months along with a big belly! I’m still quite nimble!” Saying this, afraid Mu Beiting wouldn’t believe her, she deliberately moved her arms and legs!

Mu Beiting pursed his lips, wanting to say something, but in the end, he didn’t! He just reached over to the thermos lunch box on the bedside table and opened it, ”The housekeeper just brought dinner; you must be hungry! Hurry up and eat it before it gets cold and doesn’t taste good!”

Ye Anxin nodded and took the thermos lunch box Mu Beiting handed her, ”Uncle, have you eaten?”

Mu Beiting replied blandly, ”No!”

”Then let’s eat together! It seems like the housekeeper brought enough for three!” Saying that, Anxin prepared to give some of the food in the thermos lunch box she was holding!

”No need! There’s another one here!” Mu Beiting said casually, then took another thermos lunch box from the bedside table!

”Oh!” Ye Anxin responded, lowered her head, and started eating ravenously!

After waking up, she felt very hungry; for the past few days, she hadn’t just been extremely sleep-deprived, but her stomach was also terribly empty!

Thinking back, it was all a misunderstanding, she felt she had suffered for no reason! But then again, who asked her not to trust Uncle, she had it coming!

Ye Anxin thought while eating, and before long, the food in the lunch box was all gone!

Ye Anxin grabbed a napkin and wiped the grease off her mouth. Watching Mu Beiting still eating unhurriedly, she couldn’t help but speak up, ”Uncle, let’s leave the hospital tomorrow! Staying here is so boring! Home is more comfortable, I can read when I’m bored there!”

Mu Beiting, without looking up, said, ”Okay! Tomorrow we’ll have the doctor check you, and if everything’s fine, you can be discharged!”

Ye Anxin clapped her hands excitedly, ”Great! If I stay in the hospital any longer, I’ll go crazy with boredom!”

Mu Beiting glanced at her, a hint of amusement flickering in his eyes, then lowered his head to continue eating!

”Then... Uncle...!” Ye Anxin bit her lip, hesitantly looking at Mu Beiting.

Mu Beiting said warmly, ”If you have something to say, just say it!”

Ye Anxin smiled awkwardly and said pitifully, ”Well, Uncle, if the doctor says everything’s okay, can I go back to school? I haven’t been in school for a long time, and I’m falling behind on my studies!”

Mu Beiting suddenly raised his head and refused without thinking, ”No way! You’re pregnant, you must stay at home and rest!”

”But I’m in good shape, right? Besides, in college, there aren’t many classes, just two or three sessions a day! I only attend the compulsory ones and study the electives at home! I’m about to enter my third year, when the coursework will be even less! By then, according to the timeline, my belly will just start showing, and it will be perfect for me to study at home and plan ahead! These two things don’t interfere with each other!” Ye Anxin spoke softly, trying to slowly persuade Mu Beiting.

She knew, although Uncle Beiting was domineering, he wasn’t entirely unreasonable! Sometimes, as long as she acts a little spoiled, he would agree to her requests!

Mu Beiting frowned and said, ”You forgot what happened last time! I won’t let the same thing happen twice!”

Talking about last time, a hint of sadness couldn’t be hidden in Ye Anxin’s eyes. She unconsciously touched her flat abdomen, only raising her head after a long time, sniffing and forcing a smile, speaking slowly, ”Last time was an accident, something no one could have expected! Uncle sent my father to a rehab center, so this absolutely won’t happen again! And if it really does happen, I won’t foolishly deal with it alone; I would definitely call Uncle for help immediately! Once bitten, twice shy, I’ve learned my lesson and absolutely won’t let anything like that happen again! Plus, I’m just going back and forth between school and home! I’ll have a driver escorting me the entire way, so there definitely won’t be any problems!”

Mu Beiting’s eyes flickered slightly, his thin lips tightly pressed together, not replying!

”...!” Seeing Mu Beiting remain silent, Ye Anxin thought he was still unwilling to agree and lowered her head in disappointment, ”Well, if Uncle doesn’t agree, then forget it! Between my studies and the baby, I choose the baby! I don’t want this baby, who has finally come back, to leave me like last time! Fine! I’ll take a break from school, and focus on resting at home, ensuring I deliver the baby safely!”

Mu Beiting still didn’t speak, his lips tightly sealed!

Mu Beiting stopped speaking, and suddenly the ward felt a bit suffocating to Ye Anxin; she didn’t like this atmosphere. Forcing a smile, she spoke to break the silence, ”Uncle, it’s a bit stuffy in the ward, why don’t we go to the garden for a walk? Get some fresh air!”

”Alright!” Mu Beiting agreed without a second thought!

”Great!” Ye Anxin beamed with joy, flipping the blanket aside to get off the bed!

Mu Beiting stood up, grabbed a fairly thick coat, and draped it over Ye Anxin, ”It’s spring now, but it gets chilly in the evening!”

”Uncle is so considerate!” Ye Anxin squinted her eyes and gave Mu Beiting a sweet smile.

Seeing her warm smile, Mu Beiting turned his head away, a suspicious blush appearing on his handsome face!

Ye Anxin saw Mu Beiting’s shy expression, lowered her head, and chuckled privately before linking her arm through his, ”Let’s go!”

”Hmm!” Mu Beiting nodded, and left the ward hand in hand with Ye Anxin!

This is the largest and best private hospital in Jin City, excelling in terms of medical technology, equipment, and environment!

There’s a big garden between the inpatient and outpatient buildings! In the middle of the garden, there’s a pool! Every evening, music plays, and the water in the pool dances to the tune!

Ye Anxin linked arms with Mu Beiting as they walked out of the inpatient building and slowly into the garden!

At this time, the fountain was just beginning to spray!

The two walked to the fountain, watching the water dance elegantly to the music. Ye Anxin couldn’t help but say, ”Uncle, this is the first time I’ve seen the fountain spray at this hospital, although we’ve been here many times! It’s really beautiful! Especially watching it with Uncle, it feels so romantic!”

Mu Beiting asked, ”Do you like it?”

Ye Anxin nodded vigorously, ”Of course! There is a fountain at Jin City Square too, and every summer I used to go there with Yueyue! We’d even make wishes! It was so lovely, carefree then!”

Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting unconsciously furrowed his brow, his deep eyes fixed on the fountain, seemingly lost in thought!
