Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 327: Chapter 327: Sweet as Honey

Just as she was staring at Pete in a daze, the door of the ward was pushed open! Mu Beiting walked in with milk tea and cake! As soon as he entered, he saw Ye Anxin staring blankly at Pete!

Upon seeing this, Mu Beiting’s expression instantly darkened, his thin lips pressed tightly into a line!

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Ye Anxin and Pete both looked towards the door!

When Ye Anxin saw Mu Beiting standing at the door, she smiled sweetly, ”Uncle, you’re back?”

”Hmm!” Mu Beiting responded lightly, walked to the bedside, and his tall figure immediately blocked Pete entirely!

Pete was slightly stunned, not expecting his boss to have such a childish side, and shook his head helplessly before getting up to sit on the sofa, continuing to work with his files!

Without even sparing a glance at Pete, Mu Beiting placed the milk tea and cake on the bedside table, opened them, and handed them to Ye Anxin, ”Your milk tea and cake!”

Ye Anxin didn’t reach to take them but directly licked a bit of the cream from the cake in Mu Beiting’s hand, immediately closing her eyes in enjoyment and smiling, ”It tastes really good! Especially because it was fed by Uncle, it tastes even better!”

Mu Beiting seemed very receptive to Ye Anxin’s cheesy words, his tense face gradually softening a lot!

Ye Anxin said coquettishly, ”Uncle, I want you to feed me!”

Mu Beiting said nothing, sat down on a chair by the bed, and fed Ye Anxin bit by bit with a fork!

Watching their lovey-dovey display, Pete, sitting on the sofa, suddenly shivered, his entire body covered in goosebumps!

After eating most of the cake, Ye Anxin took the fork from Mu Beiting’s hand, speared a piece and held it to Mu Beiting’s mouth, laughing, ”Uncle, it tastes so good! You should try some too! Good things should be shared between the two of us, I shouldn’t hog it all!”

Glancing at the cake being held to his mouth and smelling the strong cream aroma, Mu Beiting slightly furrowed his brows, ”I don’t eat sweets!”

Ye Anxin insisted, ”Come on, try it! It really tastes good, just one bite!” After speaking, she placed the cake directly onto his lips without waiting for his reaction!

Mu Beiting, frowning, slowly opened his mouth and ate the piece of cake Ye Anxin offered!

Watching Mu Beiting chew the cake, Ye Anxin blinked her big bright eyes and eagerly asked, ”Isn’t it delicious?”

Mu Beiting forced the cake down and honestly replied, ”Too sweet!”

”It’s cake, it’s supposed to be sweet, otherwise it wouldn’t be called cake!” Ye Anxin chuckled, offering another bite to him and then gazing at him with a silly grin.

Mu Beiting frowned even more deeply, yet still opened his mouth and ate the cake Ye Anxin offered!

Ye Anxin squinted and smiled, feeding the remaining cake to Mu Beiting bite by bite!

Seeing Mu Beiting frown more and more deeply but still enduring and eating the cake she offered, Ye Anxin suddenly felt sweet inside, even sweeter than having eaten the cake herself!

After feeding him the rest of the cake, Ye Anxin didn’t forget to offer the milk tea to Mu Beiting, ”Uncle, take a sip, soothe your throat!”

Mu Beiting took the straw in his mouth and reluctantly sipped a little, then tightly furrowed his brows again!

”Cake with milk tea, a perfect match! It’s my favorite!” Ye Anxin laughed heartily and then lowered her head, taking big sips of the remaining milk tea!

Mu Beiting tightly pressed his thin lips together, his tongue moving around inside as if he was very averse to the taste lingering in his mouth!

Holding the straw in her mouth, Ye Anxin sneaked a glance at Pete seeing him engrossed in work, she quickly drank a large gulp of milk tea into her mouth, and without giving Mu Beiting any time to prepare, pressed her mouth against his, lightly parted his lips with her tongue, and transferred all the milk tea into his mouth!

Mu Beiting followed her actions, forced to swallow a large gulp of milk tea into his stomach!

Just at that moment, Pete, who had been looking down at his documents, happened to raise his head as Ye Anxin pressed her lips to Mu Beiting’s. Startled, he even dropped the documents from his lap onto the floor!

Ye Anxin had just settled on the hospital bed and hurriedly looked at Pete when she heard the sound of the documents falling!

When she saw Pete staring directly at her, her pretty face turned as red as a monkey’s backside! She immediately lowered her head in embarrassment, not daring to meet Pete’s direct gaze!

Noticing Ye Anxin’s unusual behavior, Mu Beiting turned to look at Pete!

Upon seeing Pete looking at them unabashedly, his eyes suddenly turned cold!

Pete was startled again, quickly lowered his head, picked up the documents from the floor, and buried himself back in his work! As for what he absorbed, or how much, only he would know!

Mu Beiting turned his gaze to Ye Anxin, and his long fingers unconsciously touched his lips where Ye Anxin had kissed, a beautiful curve lifting at the corner of his mouth!

Ye Anxin continued to lower her head, embarrassedly saying, ”Uncle, you should get to work! I won’t disturb you anymore! I’ll take a nap! You’ve already delayed several days for me!”

”Then you have a good rest! Let me know if you need anything!” Mu Beiting nodded, stood up, and gently guided Ye Anxin to lie down, carefully covering her with a blanket! Only after Ye Anxin closed her eyes did he head to the sofa!

Ye Anxin was truly exhausted! Ever since the incident with Ruan Zhitong, she hadn’t eaten, drunk, or slept for days, and had been tired for a long time! Just now, when Uncle slept, she was still too agitated to fall asleep!

Now that her mind was at ease, she felt much more relaxed, suddenly sleepy!

She fell asleep soon after closing her eyes, sleeping much more soundly than before! In her dreams, whatever she dreamed of, a radiant smile unknowingly graced her lips!

Ye Anxin slept heavily, truly catching up on all the sleep she had missed over the past few days!

When she woke up, it was already night, the sky was completely dark!

And only Mu Beiting was left in the ward, Pete having left at some point!

Ye Anxin rubbed her sleepy eyes and asked hazily, ”Uncle, what time is it now?”

Sitting on the chair by the bed, looking at documents, Mu Beiting lifted his wrist to check the time upon hearing her voice and replied lightly, ”It’s seven-thirty!”

”It’s already seven-thirty! That means I’ve slept for almost a whole day?” Saying this, Ye Anxin moved her body, intending to get up from the bed!

Mu Beiting quickly put down his documents, stood up, and helped her get up from the bed!
