Crossover Shipgirls: Building a Dimensional Empire from Scratch

The capital was livelier than ever before.

Crates of spoils were transported to the Magic Academy.

The Spirit of Origin led the magic lolis in full force, sorting through tens of thousands of magic books to extract useful content.

All kinds of equipment brought back were handed to Akashi for testing.

Equipment from the Overlord world could be categorized into: low-grade, mid-grade, high-grade, legacy, legendary, and divine artifact tiers.

With the almighty Bulins around, low-tier equipment didn’t warrant any research.

The repair girls focused on divine artifact-tier gear, studying and comparing them to existing mass-produced Teigu.

Aboard the Eternal Snowfall—

As was tradition after each expedition and part of the celebration protocol,

Setsuna once again used time-distortion abilities to create a space completely detached from the outside world.

Shua—

”Time Distortion: Sixtyfold.”

The external world immediately slowed down.

”Ah...”

”The might of time distortion... truly worthy of the Supreme One—no, Commander!!!”

Albedo and the Pleiades were in awe of this extraordinary ”zero-zero-zero” power.

With dozens of times time dilation, Setsuna had become increasingly adept. He could now stretch time at greater multipliers.

Logically, the more people aboard the starship, the more energy time distortion would consume, reducing its effectiveness. But Setsuna found that with enough practice, the ship’s silver-party mode could last longer and longer.

At first, he could only stretch one night into a few days. Now, even with a dozen or twenty people, he could distort time into nearly twenty days.

—Otherwise, with more and more people, there really wouldn’t be enough time.

”Commander, you’re thinking lewd thoughts again, aren’t you?”

Realizing the outer world had been slowed dramatically, Origami Tobiichi was the first to react.

She narrowed her eyes at Setsuna.

”Commander, hentai...”

”You’re not exactly qualified to call me that, hmm? Little Origami?”

Setsuna scooped up her petite body into his arms, sitting back on the sofa bed.

He gently poked her pretty and adorable face.

When it came to fighting, one had to strike hard and cut down enemies to the root. For parties... one had to go all in, too.

”If we’re talking about being a pervert... none of the other shipgirls, Spirits, or Heroic Spirits can even compete with you.”

”I’m only like this with you, Commander! Don’t get the wrong idea!”

Origami pouted and lightly bit his finger.

”You always bully me... Commander, you’re such a hentai.”

”But it can’t be helped. Only I can satisfy your perverted needs.”

Her words were dead serious, but her body pressed against him, warm and fragrant.

”How am I perverted? There are others watching, you know. Take it easy, Origami.”

Setsuna found Origami surprisingly bold.

”What’s the problem? We’re all on the same side.”

”Commander, you want it this way too, don’t you?!”

When Origami got into action, even the most battle-hardened shipgirls would respectfully call her ”Master.”

”...”

”Ooh—”

The Pleiades remembered their maid professionalism: don’t watch what you shouldn’t, and never interrupt the Commander at the wrong time.

They quickly blushed and backed away.

”Wow, so the Supreme One—no, Commander—actually has that many girls around him?”

In the corner, Lupusregina whispered with her sisters.

A quick glance showed there were easily over a dozen girls around Setsuna.

Richelieu, Taihou, Tohru—they’d met before. But there were several new faces from the base as well.

”For a Commander who rules the entire world, this is only natural.”

Narberal showed no emotion, responding with absolute seriousness.

”Everyone here has a duty to serve the Commander. To be chosen is the highest honor.”

”...”

”That’s true.”

Lupusregina nodded, licking her lips.

”If the Commander is willing, I can offer him... some alternative playstyles.”

”You?”

Recalling this rather sly second daughter, Yuri shook her head.

”Don’t you think your race is a problem? We were only created by the Commander as battle maids. We shouldn’t overstep...”

”Why does that matter?”

Lupusregina didn’t mind in the slightest.

”Look over there—there are dragons, Spirits, shipgirls, and those called Heroic Spirits or whatever. Commander clearly has broad tastes...”

”True.”

The Pleiades had originally felt a bit uneasy about their species identity.

But they suddenly realized... here, race wasn’t an issue at all.

Forget different races.

The Commander didn’t even spare the ships.

”So envious...”

Albedo had always been Setsuna’s close attendant, helping him manage affairs.

Seeing Origami acting so intimately in Setsuna’s arms stirred a deep envy in her eyes.

”To be so close to the Supreme One... what an incredible honor!!!”

She too wished she could be cradled and cherished by her creator like that white-haired girl.

”Oh, Albedo, go rest for now.”

Setsuna noticed her staring blankly at him.

”There’s nothing that needs your attention right now. I’ll be relaxing on the Eternal Snowfall for a few days.”

”Hmm, you could go ask Ikaros if there’s anything you can help with.”

He casually assigned her a task.

”...”

”Commander, would you... would you like Albedo to serve you?”

”If you command it, I will do my utmost...”

Albedo mustered her courage to ask.

”Huh?”

The shipgirls nearby looked stunned.

”So this is what it’s like when the Commander custom-creates characters? No need to build affection, goodwill maxed from the start?!”

”...”

Setsuna was momentarily speechless.

He didn’t remember setting Albedo’s personality to be so forward.

He opened her interface to take a look.

[Albedo]

[Level: LV100]

[Race Levels 40 + Job Levels 60]

[Race: Succubus (LV10), Lesser Demon (LV10)...]

”...”

”Oh, damn.”

He had almost forgotten—Albedo was a succubus.

A succubus in the racial sense.

”Commander, succubi can’t remain pure. Otherwise, our powers begin to decline...”

”To better serve the Supreme One—no, Commander, may I... offer myself?”

Albedo knelt beside Setsuna, raising her divinely beautiful face, golden eyes full of adoration.

”...”

”Succubi in YGGDRASIL really have that trait?”

Setsuna was stunned.

He felt like Albedo was using this as an excuse.

Not that he particularly minded.

”Come on, get up. Here.”

Setsuna beckoned her to sit beside him.

”Yes.”

Albedo was visibly nervous.

She retracted her black wings and sat properly at his side.

”Commander...”

”Mm.”

At this distance, Albedo truly was a rare beauty.

Both her appearance and figure were flawless.

The off-shoulder white dress complemented her curves perfectly—pure yet with a subtle allure.

Since she had just been created recently, she also had a hint of innocence.

Looking down, he saw a snow-white expanse that was undeniably captivating.

—Compared to Shalltear’s padding, a natural-born succubus was on another level.

One couldn’t help but sigh. A succubus was a succubus.

Even doing nothing, every move was steeped in charm.

”You’re very beautiful.”

Setsuna stroked her cheek and gently captured her lips.

There was a strange sweet scent—almost intoxicating.

”Commander, as long as it’s your order, I will obey.”

”I offer you my body and soul, my Creator... please love me and spoil me as much as you wish.”

Albedo’s wings folded forward, subconsciously shielding them both.

”A demon! A demon! Commander is being seduced by a demon!”

Jeanne Alter and Origami stood frozen, dumbfounded.

”Seduced? You underestimate me.”

Setsuna cleared his throat and swept Albedo up into his arms.

”Today, this Commander will personally slay the demon.”

...

Three weeks passed in the blink of an eye.

As the morning sunlight poured evenly over the roof of the Administrative Center, coating the whole floor in a golden glow—

Bang–Bang–Bang!

The Pleiades and Royal Maids knocked on the bedroom door.

”Good morning, Commander.”

”Time to get up.”

The Pleiades battle maids had mostly adapted to the Royal Maids’ complicated etiquette, now able to execute every move with grace and precision.

Yuri pulled back the curtains, letting sunlight flood the room.

Narberal placed several breakfasts on the table, while Lupusregina began cleaning up.

She bent down to gather clothes scattered across the floor.

”My, the Commander really is full of energy. No wonder the Head Maid says cleaning every day is such a challenge...”

Lupusregina picked up a couple from the table, more from the floor, and even a few from the edge of the bed.

There were even some in the bathroom and in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.

Images she shouldn’t be imagining started flashing through her mind.

”Mmm...”

Bathed in sunlight, Setsuna slowly opened his eyes in a daze.

Beside him were Albedo and Jeanne Alter curled up in chaotic sleep, their sweet scent lingering in the air.

”Commander...”

Albedo slowly sat up, shaking her head to clear her thoughts.

Her long, waterfall-like black hair was slightly tousled, falling loosely over her body and giving her an added air of seduction.

Her gaze was soft and alluring—just one look was enough to mesmerize.

”Stay with me a little longer...”

She leaned on Setsuna’s shoulder, exhaling softly.

”Commander, that’s enough, isn’t it?”

Belfast squinted at him.

”You do have official duties today. Don’t tell me you’re planning to stage the old ’king won’t attend court ever again’ act?”

”Ahem—”

Setsuna took the clothes, washed his face.

Well, succubi were succubi.

Even though she had just been created and lacked experience, her racial abilities alone had given her over a hundred techniques.

Thankfully, with double cube buffs, his physique was exceptional—more than capable of handling anything.

”I still need to inspect the academy. Time to get up.”

He cleared his throat.

As the maid teams cleaned, their eyes kept drifting toward Albedo.

”So this is racial advantage, huh?”

Sirius, Dido, and the Pleiades whispered among themselves.

”Did Albedo clear the Commander route faster than anyone else?!”

In the capital, it was usually the shipgirls, Spirits, and Heroic Spirits discussing how to capture the Commander’s heart.

If they made a request, the Commander typically wouldn’t refuse.

Still, most were waiting for a romantic, proper opportunity—so everything remained in a queue.

Yet this succubus from another world had accomplished in just a few days what others barely dared to dream.

Kanae stayed silent.

Gudako shed silent tears.

”Focus!”

Belfast felt mentally exhausted.

At this rate, she might one day have to bring the entire maid team to the Commander’s bedroom.

”Lupusregina, sweep the floor!”

”Sirius, take out the trash!”

”Sheffield, wipe off those handprints from the window!”

”...”

The Royal Maids clicked their tongues and got to work obediently.

”Why is it that even though we’re all Royal Maids, Belfast is living the dream, and we’re here washing her sheets?!...”

...

After the maids wrapped up their noisy duties,

Setsuna was the first to arrive at the Magic Academy.

According to Mio’s report, they had conducted a thorough study of the YGGDRASIL magic system over the past few weeks.

Stepping into the massive academy, which was as large as a small city—he was greeted by the sight of countless lolis practicing magic in the open training fields.

”Tier-3 Magic: Scorching Flames!”

”Tier-7 Magic: Chain Dragon Thunder!!”

”Self-Agility Enhancement, Strength Enhancement, Reflex Boost...”

Various fireballs, lightning bolts, and ice spears flew across the training grounds.

It was evident that tiered magic practice wasn’t particularly difficult for these genetically ascended lolis.

Inside the lecture hall, lolis could be seen attending theory classes.

”Commander, the YGGDRASIL tiered magic data you brought back is incredibly comprehensive and perfect for beginners on the magic side to start learning from scratch,” Mio explained.

”We’ve categorized the curriculum into five main branches: Destruction, Restoration, Alteration, Illusion, and Summoning.”

”Destruction includes fireballs, lightning, and other offensive spells. Restoration is for healing, resurrection, etc. Alteration covers support magic like transmutation and teleportation. Illusion and Summoning are self-explanatory.”

”Every student enrolled in the Magic Academy must master at least three branches. Once they grasp the fundamentals, they can advance to super-tier magic.”

”Everyone can learn it?” Setsuna asked curiously.

He remembered that in the Overlord world, most ordinary people could only use tier 3-4 magic. Only a handful, like Fluder or Antilene, could cast tier 6 or higher.

But earlier, he’d seen lolis already casting tier-7 spells.

”Yes. The material you brought back, my husband, is so detailed it’s basically a textbook.”

Mio opened one of the skill books Setsuna had brought.

”Even the most basic casting procedures are laid out step-by-step. And besides, these girls are incredibly smart.”

”Good.”

Setsuna nodded.

The genetic ascension had granted all-around enhancements. Each loli, placed in any other world, would be considered a top-tier genius.

Raising an army of magic-wielding lolis—no, a full-blown caster battalion—was only a matter of time.

”Also, husband, we made another discovery,” said the Spirit of Origin, pulling Setsuna toward a lab building.

She handed him a scroll with a magic array.

”In both the Overlord and Goblin Slayer worlds, there’s a method of using scrolls as mediums to cast magic.”

”With a scroll, casting doesn’t depend on one’s mana or magical aptitude. As long as the scroll is activated properly, the magic can be unleashed.”

”I believe this technique has immense potential for wide adoption.”

As she spoke, Mio unfurled the scroll in Setsuna’s hands.

”This one holds a super-tier spell: ’Fallen Down.’”

”Even someone with zero magical training can use it, as long as they understand the activation method.”

”Oh? Mass-producible magic scrolls? Now that’s interesting.”

Setsuna examined the mysterious symbols on the scroll.

He raised it and activated it toward an open field outside the window.

Whoosh ——

Massive magical circles appeared beneath his feet and around him.

After a brief casting and incantation, a blazing white beam descended from the sky,

carving a crater several hundred meters wide into the ground.

The extreme heat sparked a moderate wildfire nearby, prompting the Angeloids to rush over for emergency suppression.

The power was identical to the one Ainz had used in the original story.

”Fallen Down” was especially effective against undead. In the plot, Ainz once used it against a berserk Shalltear.

Objectively speaking, its destructive potential was on par with an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

”So it’s essentially a one-time-use item? What’s the production cost?”

”Not high. We can source the required materials from the Goblin Slayer world. Their high-quality monsters respawn quickly.”

Mio thought for a moment.

Indeed, that world’s dungeon mechanics perfectly supplemented their material needs.

Just organize expeditions to farm divine beasts. With distortion spells masking their presence, even the gods wouldn’t notice.

”Great. Prepare some high-power super-tier magic scrolls. Issue a few to every combat unit.”

”Also, make some utility scrolls—resurrection, teleportation, and so on—for emergency use.”

Setsuna found this tech incredibly promising.

For ordinary fighters like the Demon Slayer Corps, Night Raid, or Goblin Slayer girls, it could greatly boost their power while being easy to use.

In sudden crises or against powerful foes, it could make all the difference.

For shipgirls, Spirits, and others, functional and rule-type scrolls would let them tap into magic without learning from scratch.

Let them enjoy their magic-caster dreams too.

”We must pursue both science and magic.”
