After creating the customized girls, Setsuna spent a few days handling post-conquest matters in the Overlord world.

He assigned a few shipgirls to manage the world.

The various kingdoms, empires, and disorganized demihuman tribes across the continent all needed to be integrated.

At the same time, the Pleiades, Albedo, Shalltear, and others were temporarily entrusted to the Royal Maids for education, so they could get familiar with the rules here.

Since the Pleiades were originally a combat maid unit and the number of residents in the base was growing rapidly, the Royal Maids were starting to feel overwhelmed.

Adding another maid team wasn’t a bad idea.

—Morning.

As sunlight poured through the porthole and onto the bridge of the starship…

”Royal Maids, Pleiades, assemble!”

With a crisp command from the head maid,

the Royal Maids tidied their uniforms, put on their maid outfits, and stood in formation on one side of the hall.

The combat maids of the Pleiades, along with Shalltear, Albedo, and others, hurriedly adjusted their attire and stood opposite the Royal Maids.

Sirius, Sheffield, and other shipgirls still had rather strange expressions when looking at the Pleiades.

Not long ago, they were bitter enemies. Now, they were being grouped together in the maid unit.

However, the Pleiades’ willingness to give their lives for their master, their loyalty and dedication, wasn’t something the Royal Maids disliked.

In fact, if their master was the Commander, the Royal Maids were happy to work with them.

”Starting today, the Pleiades will be incorporated into the Commander’s maid team, responsible for daily life support for the Commander and his close associates.”

”When necessary, maids must also clear any obstacles and enemies in the Commander’s path.”

”These are the maid regulations. Please remember them well.”

The head maid paced as she handed out documents to the Pleiades, Albedo, and Shalltear, who were sitting in.

The documents clearly outlined the rules of the Starsea Empire and Royal Maids.

The principles were simple—no private fighting in the capital, no harming comrades, and special attention must be paid to the little lolis in the capital.

”I know your races differ from others, but please restrain your impulses. Do not cause trouble in the capital.”

”Get along well with other races.”

Belfast’s gaze swept across Albedo, Shalltear, and the rest.

She wasn’t particularly tall, but her eyes were sharp—full of the pride of being the head maid and one of the Commander’s oath-bound shipgirls.

”Understood.”

The Pleiades bowed in agreement.

After Setsuna had adjusted their justice alignment to neutral, they had become much more docile.

They had once looked down on humans. But now that their creator was human, they extended that admiration and would never disobey his orders.

”As for maid duties and responsibilities... I will teach you slowly.”

”Since the Commander entrusted me with this, I will make sure to train you into proper maids.”

Belfast clapped her hands.

The Royal Maids got to work, demonstrating for the Pleiades.

”The Commander’s breakfast must be prepared for multiple people, with a rotating menu every week. Today, it’s Italian croissants with coffee...”

”Both the bread and coffee need to be freshly baked and brewed. The Angeloids will assist with preparation, but as maids, you should still strive to cook personally for the Commander...”

Sirius and Dido explained while working at the stove.

”Ooooh—”

The Pleiades nodded repeatedly as they listened.

Lupusregina Beta raised her hand with a question.

”Besides these low-grade foods, does Supreme One need anything else?”

”Like fried slimes, frost dragon ribs, steamed fishmen, charcoal-grilled beastmen?”

”Do we need to go hunting monsters regularly?”

”???”

The Royal Maids looked like they had seen a ghost.

”Absolutely not! Please stick strictly to the recipe. The Commander doesn’t like strange foods. And no adding secret ingredients like Tohru!!”

”Ohhh—”

Lupusregina and Narberal nodded.

In their minds, hunting lower creatures for food was a completely normal practice.

After a round of training…

Yuri Alpha took the lead, with Lupusregina close behind.

The Pleiades began learning how to serve the Supreme One following Royal Maid etiquette.

”Stand up straight, straight!”

”Remember, when knocking, use your knuckles and knock three times rhythmically. Enter only after getting permission!”

”When greeting, curtsy and bow at this angle...”

The complex maid etiquette left the Pleiades dizzy.

Not to mention, all the equipment and tools inside the starship had to be learned from scratch.

Without guidance, they couldn’t even figure out how to use the kitchenware.

”Oooooh it caught fire!!! Is this magic??!”

Lupusregina tapped a holographic panel on the stove, igniting a large flame.

”Looks like the power of a Tier 1 or 2 spell. I can do that too.”

Narberal crossed her arms and nodded seriously.

”That’s a gas stove, thank you. Powered by energy from the reactor...”

Sirius smacked her forehead, feeling like she was teaching primitives.

No, to be exact, it was because their tech trees were completely different. To them, technological items were completely alien.

”Oh dear, this is so complicated—”

The Pleiades were growing increasingly dizzy.

”Can we just handle the combat part? We’re combat maids, after all...”

Lupusregina asked cautiously.

”No. A maid must develop comprehensively.”

...

A few days later.

After finishing up the remaining work in the Overlord world, Setsuna set off to return.

Girls like nation-destroying loli Evileye were handed off to others for recruitment. He didn’t need to worry.

In a unified world setting, it wouldn’t take long to bring them over.

Boom—

The Eternal Snowfall pierced through the clouds and landed at the landing base near the capital.

”Waaah!!!—”

Every time a new batch of otherworlders arrived at the capital, as a signature event, Setsuna would always hear their exclamations.

”Such a huge city!!!”

The Pleiades, Antilene, Albedo, and the others were dazzled.

”It’s dozens of times bigger than the capital of the Slane Theocracy!”

Whether in the YGGDRASIL game or in that world, Such a massive sci-fi city was a rarity.

”Lord Commander, are we going to live here from now on?”

Albedo gazed at the towering cityscape, awe rising in her heart.

”Yes. Get along well with everyone.”

As the hatch opened, the stationed shipgirls and little lolis rushed forward with excited cheers.

Even ceremonial salutes rang out on both sides.

”Onii-chan! Commander-oniichan won again!!”

”Commander-oniichan isn’t hurt, right?”

”Commander-oniichan, what did you bring back this time? The research institute is waiting to study the new stuff...”

Midori Fuse arrived with a group of research lolis, chirping all around Setsuna.

Every time he returned, he would bring something new for the research girls.

Studying otherworld artifacts was one of their greatest joys.

”Ahem, I brought back quite a lot this time. All the spoils from the entire world are here. The Magic Academy will need to sort them out.”

Setsuna chuckled and opened the hatch.

Click—

Inside were neatly stacked books, scrolls, and crates of artifacts.

So many they formed a mountainous pile that stretched beyond sight.

”Quite the haul.”

Yat Sen, stationed at the base, stepped forward, gently wrapping her arms around Setsuna’s neck and kissing him.

A fragrant breeze stirred beside him.

”Commander, welcome home.”

”Mm.”

It had been a while, and the shipgirls were a little too enthusiastic, only letting go after a while.

Looking up, Setsuna saw Albedo, Shalltear, the Pleiades, and others staring in stunned silence.

”More companions you brought back?”

Yat Sen poked Setsuna’s chest with a playful scold.

”They were created by me, personally. Nothing to worry about.”

Setsuna laughed it off.

”...”

”Let me guess, vampires, demons, werewolves, doppelgangers... quite the diverse bunch.”

”Commander, you really are... broad-minded.”

Yat Sen had read about the Overlord world before and knew who they were.

”Of course.”

Setsuna admitted that his interworld expeditions weren’t just for power or civilization development.

Bringing back quality girls was also part of the motivation.

”Commander, maybe you should change your surname to Tohno?”

Gudako popped up again.

”I even thought up your catchphrase:”

”As long as she’s beautiful, even a god—I’ll take her home and show you.”

...

Later that day.

At the capital’s administrative center, the companions stationed in the capital held a grand celebration banquet for the returning expedition team.

All the shipgirls, Heroic Spirits, Spirits, and most of the little lolis from the research institute gathered for the occasion.

Every time the Commander returned in triumph, he brought back all sorts of strange new technologies and equipment from other worlds for everyone to share.

Staying here was never boring.

Like opening a blind box, you could never guess what the expedition team would bring back next.

Each successful conquest also marked an expansion of the Starsea Empire’s influence across the multiverse.

Shua—

Setsuna projected the Hyperdimensional Star Map onto a massive screen.

It showed that most of the surrounding worlds had already been fully conquered and become vassals of the Empire.

From being dropped naked onto this planet to later discovering many worlds, the dimensional anchor points had now connected to 14 universes.

”Currently, excluding temporarily unconquerable worlds like Heaven’s Lost Property, Goblin Slayer, and Honkai, there are exactly ten worlds fully incorporated into the Empire.”

”They include both magical and technological civilizations, and under the Starsea Empire’s rule, they will all become vital resource hubs and rear bases for us.”

”Ooh...”

Everyone gasped in admiration.

Including the Overlord world, the Empire now had ten vassal worlds.

On the Hyperdimensional Star Map, the territories were now visibly connected.

Even if the worlds conquered so far weren’t particularly powerful overall, and the main world was still short of being a true interstellar civilization—

—it was already an incredible achievement.

Richelieu, Taihou, Yat Sen, and other shipgirls who had followed Setsuna since the beginning were filled with emotion.

They had witnessed the Commander starting from nothing, building the first city with support from the port, then expanding, conquering neighbors, and reaching for the stars.

They had seen him enhance their civilization with magic and technology from various worlds, spreading from Constantinople to Eurasia, and finally across the entire Earth.

”Maybe soon we really will establish a super-civilization spanning the multiverse, just like the Commander said.”

Yat Sen murmured.

The shipgirls increasingly felt that their Commander was someone truly remarkable.

Whether it was for partying or serious business, he never slacked.

Then, Setsuna gave a brief recount of the latest expedition.

The conquest of the Overlord world had gone relatively smoothly, with most events within expectations.

Upon arrival, he immediately shocked Ainz with planet-destroying starship technology.

Subsequent campaigns by each fleet against the local nations proceeded step by step.

The only minor surprise was when Nazarick launched a desperate boarding assault on the Eternal Snowfall.

When the little lolis and civilians heard that several max-level Floor Guardians had teleported to the starship bridge with dozens of Soul Eaters, they gasped and covered their mouths.

”So scary, that many enemies?! Isn’t it dangerous for the starship to be boarded up close?!...”

The informed shipgirls, however, remained unfazed.

”Oh, they were just asking to die.”

Ägir toyed with a strand of her red-highlighted hair.

”I was hoping they’d teleport into my cabin so I could have a proper fight.”

”Always bullying primitives from orbit gets boring. Those mages couldn’t even handle Angeloids.”

When Setsuna mentioned the total destruction of Nazarick and burying it completely, everyone nodded in agreement.

For a world to be fully conquered, a stronghold like Nazarick absolutely couldn’t be left intact.

The ideological clash between Setsuna and Ainz was irreconcilable, as was the conflict between humans and undead.

”But still, letting enemies teleport onto your ship is a vulnerability, Little Setsuna.”

Usually quiet, Lucoa opened her eyes slightly and propped her head on her hand.

”This time, the enemy was weak and couldn’t beat you. That was lucky.”

”But what if next time someone stronger appears, or they teleport into another girl’s ship? Things won’t go so smoothly.”

”...”

Setsuna paused.

”I think so too.”

Until now, the fleet had mostly been bullying tech-side primitives, using tech superiority.

This was the first full-scale war against a magical civilization.

The other side had indeed pulled a few unexpected tricks.

”Have the Academy and Magic Institute study this. From now on, every ship should be equipped with teleportation-blocking devices, whether magical or technological.”

Setsuna gave the task to Akashi, Purifier, and the research lolis.

”Hmm...”

”I can teach you a teleportation disruption magic array. It’ll redirect enemy coordinates outside the ship.”

The dragon girl sipped her drink.

”Like into a volcano, or in front of a turret, for example?”

”Unless the enemy is stronger than me, it can’t be broken.”

”Oh, that’s perfect. Much appreciated.”

Setsuna nodded to Lucoa in thanks.

Anyone stronger than her was not someone he could casually provoke.

And if that happened, it wouldn’t just be about boarding.

As for her proposed solution—perfectly wicked. The shipgirls would love it.

”You’re welcome. I just don’t want anything bad to happen to you while you’re out.”

Lucoa yawned lazily, motioning for Setsuna to continue.

”Now then, the spoils from this expedition are quite abundant, mainly magical in nature.”

”Everyone take some time to sort out the useful items. As for the rest... just shelve them in the library as collectibles.”

Setsuna swiped through a list on the holographic interface.

It included World-class artifacts, myth-level equipment, magic tomes, scrolls, potions, and all sorts of oddities.

”All tiers of magic items are here. In that case, can we finally complete the magic research tree?”

A Spirit loli raised her hand to ask.

Previously, most of the conquered worlds were tech-oriented. Even those that sounded magical actually fell under engineering and physics.

With some of Bulin’s mysterious ”thinking power” added in.

”Yes, the magic system in the Overlord world is fairly complete.”

The Magic Academy’s head, the Spirit of Origin, nodded.

”From Tier 1 to Tier 10 magic, along with super-tier and origin magic—it’s all there, and functionally comprehensive.”

”There are offensive spells, rule-manipulating spells, and utility magic.”

In terms of pure firepower, it was hard to say whether YGGDRASIL-style magic, Spirit magic, or homegrown Academy magic was stronger.

But in terms of utility spells, the variety was immense.

Take resurrection magic, for example.

In the YGGDRASIL system, it’s a dime-a-dozen spell.

Low-tier resurrection costs experience and levels, but with premium items, World-class artifacts, or sufficient resources, you can achieve no-loss revival.

That kind of skill would be broken in most worlds.

If the Spirit of Origin had this power, the entire Date A Live storyline might never have happened.

Memory reading, memory alteration, teleportation gates—all kinds of bizarre spells with wide-ranging uses.

”As for equipment from the Overlord world, you can study how it compares to our mass-produced Teigu. Use whichever’s better.”

”The blueprints are here. Just have Bulins make them.”

Setsuna pulled out several crates filled with armor, swords, and matching schematics.

Some materials needed to be farmed from monsters, but that wasn’t a problem.

If they could mass-breed Danger Beasts, raising monsters to mass-produce myth-grade Overlord gear wouldn’t be hard either.

Not to mention they could farm Goblin Slayer world dungeons, which regularly respawned waves of monsters.

Both were sword-and-magic worlds, with similar species and comparable loot drops—practically interchangeable.

”Yay!”

The magic-research lolis cheered as they eagerly accepted the task.

”A systematic magic framework is great for beginners to learn from scratch... might be good to add to school curriculums.”

Education ministers Hai Tien and Chen Hai pondered aloud.

”Commander, we could add YGGDRASIL-style tiered magic as a core subject at the Magic Academy, for magic-side students.”

”Elementary school teaches Tier 1-10 spells, middle or high school graduates should master super-tier magic, and university can study deeper things like origin magic, dragon magic, etc.”

”Approved.”

Setsuna gave a decisive nod.

”Let’s also build a proper mage corps.”

”Curriculums must be updated constantly to ensure they learn the latest, most cutting-edge magic. Yes.”
