Crossover Shipgirls: Building a Dimensional Empire from Scratch

They didn’t spend much time in the Goblin Slayer world.

Counting the time spent gathering local specialties, recruiting girls, and exterminating goblins, it all added up to just over half a month.

The fleet then returned to the capital with the girls from the Goblin Slayer world.

In the administrative center, Setsuna introduced each girl to the shipgirls.

”This is the Sword Maiden, this is the High Elf Archer, this is the Priestess, this is the Cow Girl, and this is the Witch...”

The girls from the Goblin Slayer world had a generally high level of beauty—unfortunately, the author of that world was a pervert.

Among them, the Sword Maiden, Witch, and High Elf Archer were older; the rest were all in loli form.

”Commander, hentai.”

Origami Tobiichi squatted in front of a little loli in rough cloth clothes and golden hair, seriously questioning her:

”Did the Commander do anything inappropriate to you?”

”???”

Setsuna nearly choked to death from Origami’s question.

The loli version of the Priestess shook her head and pointed to Belfast.

”No, this big sister brought me over.”

The other lolis had similar situations, including the loli Hero Girl, the loli Cow Girl, and others.

They all gathered around Belfast, timidly clutching her maid skirt.

Years of experience caring for small destroyers had given the head maid great affinity with little girls—elegant and composed, the perfect big sister in their eyes.

Setsuna had long since gotten used to leaving the recruitment of children to her.

”Assign two Angeloids to take care of their daily lives, and enroll them in school with the other lolis.”

Setsuna snapped his fingers.

Two Type-01 household Angeloids came over, nodded gently, and accepted the task.

”As for their training plans...”

He tapped the table.

”Stick to their original talents and roles. Teach the Priestess some holy light, healing, and prayer magic. The Hero Girl can learn swordsmanship.”

”Understood.”

The Angeloids led the lolis away.

Setsuna felt like he could soon form another Goblin Slayer team.

The original team lineup was more or less complete—centered around the Sword Maiden, with the Priestess, Witch, and High Elf Archer as support—it was a classic warrior-mage-priest combo.

Replacing Goblin Slayer himself with the Hero Girl and Sword Maiden actually made the team significantly stronger.

With equal equipment, they should be stronger than the Demon Slayer and Night Raid teams, though still weaker than the Heroic Spirit and Spirit squads.

”What about us?”

The Sword Maiden, Witch, and High Elf Archer looked at Setsuna.

”Get familiar with the place first. If you want to study magic, go to the library and find Lucoa.”

Setsuna pondered for a moment.

He looked over the Sword Maiden and handed her an outfit that looked a bit unusual.

”You’ll wear this from now on.”

”???”

The girl unfolded the clothes and examined them.

It was a white one-piece robe, finely crafted, with blue patterns on the edges and gold decorations at the waist and chest.

Clearly valuable at a glance.

”Isn’t this the attire of a Saintess? I... I’m not qualified to wear it yet, am I?”

The girl looked confused—she was just a novice adventurer.

This kind of robe was for the servants of the Supreme God, worn only by Saintesses in temples.

”No worries. I’m appointing you as a Saintess now. I’ll have a temple built for you. You can worship me, Mio, or Lucoa there—your choice.”

Setsuna patted her shoulder.

The Sword Maiden should absolutely wear that Saintess uniform!

Sexy without being vulgar, the high-slit robe subtly revealed skin while contrasting with the purity of a Saintess—that contradiction was the Sword Maiden’s essence!

”...”

The girl hesitated, then decided the treatment wasn’t bad and agreed.

”Um, I’ve actually wanted to say something for a while now...”

The High Elf Archer raised her hand.

”Commander, I do have a name, you know! Why do you keep calling me High Elf Archer?!”

”And when you address the others, you also call them by their class names?!”

”What’s your name then?”

Setsuna looked curious.

In the Goblin Slayer world, no one had names—not even the hero or the demon lord. Everyone was referred to by their role.

Hero Girl, Cow Girl, Receptionist Lady, and so on—it all fit the dice-roll nature of that world.

”Listen carefully, my name is *%...”

The High Elf Archer said a long string of characters in a language Setsuna couldn’t understand.

”...”

”Too long. Never mind, you’ll be called High Elf Archer from now on. That’s the name granted to you by the Commander.”

”???”

...

After settling the girls from the Goblin Slayer team—

Yat Sen stared at the star map, pondering for a moment.

”Commander, how are we going to deal with the Goblin Slayer world in the future?”

”Well...”

Setsuna scratched his head.

Taking the girls and rare books, and exterminating a batch of goblins—that was about the most he could do.

Going further would be very troublesome.

Conquering that world held no real value. The Goblin Slayer world was a divine chessboard, with gods constantly tossing dice to create chaos.

Today it might be a demon king, tomorrow a plague, the day after a volcanic eruption.

Maintaining stability would consume vast resources—the cost-benefit ratio was terrible.

As for flipping the table...

Still not worth the risk.

Even if he brought in Lucoa, Mio, Tohru, Elma, the Emperor of Demise, and Tohru’s family to battle the gods of that world—and won—it wouldn’t bring much gain.

Too much effort for too little return.

”Maybe just leave it. No need to interfere further.”

”We can do periodic goblin exterminations.”

Setsuna thought for a moment.

The gods’ game never ended. Sooner or later, they’d notice a large number of demons and goblins mysteriously vanishing.

Then they’d create new pieces and throw them down again.

And the cycle would repeat.

If the forces of Order grew too weak, the gods would strengthen the heroes. If Chaos was lacking, they’d spawn more demons and monsters.

Wiping out goblins could bring temporary peace, but never lasting.

”Tsk, it’s still too early to challenge the setting-level threats.”

He was a bit regretful.

”...True, let’s leave it for now.”

Yat Sen sighed. She felt sympathy for the civilians in the Goblin Slayer world,

lamenting that they had to rely on such unreliable gods.

”Hmm...”

Gudako sat beside Setsuna, resting her chin on her hand, thinking for a while.

Suddenly, she blurted out:

”How about we use the Goblin Slayer world as a training ground?”

”What?!”

Setsuna and the shipgirls were stunned, staring at her wide-eyed.

Curious what new insight the embodiment of human evil had come up with.

”Heh heh—”

Gudako puffed out her chest proudly, then slowly explained:

”Don’t you all think the Goblin Slayer world is the perfect place to farm materials, gear, and experience?”

”The monsters there respawn!!”

”Think about it. In the Akame ga Kill world, we wiped out the Danger Beasts in just a couple of days. If we wanted more materials, we had to bring them back to raise.”

”But in the Goblin Slayer world, demons and monsters are thrown down by gods. Clean them out, and the gods toss down a new batch, right?”

”The difficulty is just right too. The Heroic Spirits, Spirits, Demon Slayer, and Night Raid squads can all practice real combat there. With starships and high-tier forces overseeing it, nothing serious would go wrong.”

”It trains combat skills, farms materials, and even helps stabilize that world’s security—triple win!!!”

”??!!!”

Gudako’s passionate pitch left Setsuna dumbfounded.

His brain spun rapidly for a moment, then he slapped the table.

”Right!!”

”Why didn’t I think of that before?!”

Gudako’s idea to treat the Goblin Slayer world as a training ground was basically fleecing the gods.

From another perspective, that world really was ideal for long-term farming.

Plenty of people at the base often complained of having nothing to do, begging Setsuna to take them on expeditions.

But expedition slots were limited and not every world suited everyone.

Plus, once a world was conquered, it became peaceful—no matter how strong the foes had been, you only fought them once.

But the Goblin Slayer world was different. The monsters respawned!

He could regularly organize teams to go for training.

From easy to hard, Demon Slayer Squad, Night Raid, even Spirits and Heroic Spirits could find meaningful challenges.

Top-tier fighters and starships would keep order.

And the gods of that world wouldn’t even notice—Setsuna had system-issued rewards:

EX-level Presence Concealment—a reality distortion to rationalize all behavior.

He could just apply buffs to everyone before deployment.

At most, the gods would notice some missing pieces on their board and suspect cheating or overpowered heroes.

They’d toss down more monsters, and Setsuna would send training teams to clear them.

Just like grinding XP and loot dungeons in a game, with chances of rare otherworld materials and gear drops.

A way to maximize the value of the gods in the Goblin Slayer world.

”...”

Setsuna instantly synced minds with Gudako and agreed without hesitation.

The other shipgirls, Heroic Spirits, and Spirits soon caught on too.

Richelieu patted Gudako on the shoulder.

”As expected of you—can even fleece gods.”

Everyone’s enthusiasm for the instance world far exceeded Setsuna’s expectations.

As soon as the plan was announced, application forms piled up on the table within just a few days.

Whether they were Spirits, Heroic Spirits, or regular people, they usually had to rely on sparring in the base to practice combat.

Due to the massive power differences between species, suitable sparring partners were limited.

For instance, the Demon Slayer Squad could only train with the Night Raid team. Challenging Spirits or shipgirls was pointless—there was nothing to be learned from being overwhelmed.

Same with the Heroic Spirits. Many of them were warriors by nature and often pestered Setsuna for expeditions out of sheer boredom.

Now, with a new instance world that regularly spawned all kinds of monsters, with chances of gear and materials, it was a dream come true.

A few days later—

The first monster-farming team was ready.

By the capital’s teleportation anchor, the Demon Slayer and Night Raid teams assembled, accompanied by several Spirits and Heroic Spirits.

Elma, Enterprise, and Essex checked the roster.

The dragon girl clapped her hands.

”Alright everyone, we’ll be leading this expedition. Once you’re in the Goblin Slayer world, make sure to follow orders.”

”Understood.”

The Butterfly Sisters, Akame, Kurome, and others obediently followed the dragon girl aboard the ship.

Setsuna had already evaluated the power levels of that world.

Setting aside the background-level gods, the dragon girls were invincible. Elma and Tohru were demi-gods—just one finger could flatten the Demon Kings of that world.

The shipgirls were also untouchable. Nothing in the Goblin Slayer world—be it native or monster—could counter starship-level surface bombardments.

They were perfect for overseeing the adventuring squads.

After the teams boarded the starship, they passed through the teleportation anchor and arrived at the Goblin Slayer world in the blink of an eye.

Clack—

Enterprise and Essex released hundreds of carrier aircraft to scout the planet.

The holoscreen before them clearly marked several key locations.

”Hmm, let me see...”

Enterprise reviewed the scan data.

”The Commander wiped out all goblins and Demon Kings last time. The goblins haven’t respawned yet, but a few Demon Kings have, and there are some new monster settlements.”

”I’ll take you to find suitable opponents.”

Whoosh—

The white aerospace carrier flew over mountains and oceans, bringing everyone to an unfamiliar continent.

A city shrouded in black mist lay hidden within a mountain range.

From above, they could see twisted monsters growing within, including undead-like creatures and other abominations.

”A new Demon King has been dropped here by the gods of the Goblin Slayer world. Its power is about equal to a Platinum-ranked adventurer—just right for the Night Raid and Demon Slayer squads.”

Enterprise explained to the Butterfly Sisters and Akame.

”Also, there are some monsters in the Demon King castle. Observer wants a few captured and brought back for dissection and study.”

”Essex will oversee things from above. If there’s danger, she’ll provide airstrike support.”

The twin-tailed, purple-haired shipgirl thumped her chest.

”Don’t worry, I’ve got your backs. Once we clear this Demon King base, I’ll take you to the next one.”

”Understood. Thanks.”

Kanae led the Demon Slayer Squad, while Akame led the Night Raid team as they leapt down from the starship, landing in front of the Demon King’s castle.

One by one, they drew their blades. With the power of their Teigu, they felt a significant boost in strength.

Even against a so-called Demon King—said to require a hero to defeat—they now had some confidence.

Clang—BOOM!!

The teams below quickly clashed with the monsters.

They were exhilarated to finally be back in real combat. They unleashed all the techniques they’d learned at the base—magic and blades clashing rang out continuously.

Enterprise took the remaining members to the next location.

They flew across endless mountains and fields, heading toward the northern plains of the continent.

...

”This area has respawning Demon Kings—stronger than the ones the Commander wiped out before. Their power level is between city-destroying and nation-destroying.”

”Spirits and Heroic Spirits will handle it.”

Depending on the team’s strength, their target monsters and dungeons varied.

”Understood.”

Artoria answered concisely. Holding her holy sword, she leapt from the portside hatch.

”Don’t steal my kills! I bet my Master I could solo ten Demon Kings!”

Jeanne Alter followed right behind.

The rest of the group were also assigned to suitable dungeons.

To the natives of the Goblin Slayer world, this was like divine justice descending.

Just as their chosen heroes and adventurers were itching to venture into dungeons and prove themselves—

they discovered strange people from who-knows-where had already beaten the monsters to a pulp.

Appearing without a trace, vanishing just as quickly—no one knew their true identities.

Only through rumors did they learn these beings used powers unlike anything in their world.

After clearing the dungeons and collecting the loot, they’d leave. Occasionally, they’d stop in a city briefly, but rarely spoke with the locals.

”Are they transmigrators?!”

The adventurers were both confused and awestruck.

A few days later—

Enterprise returned with the training team.

Akame, Shinobu, and a few others had minor injuries, now being treated by Elma.

Their presence was noticeably sharper—they had clearly gained valuable experience in combat.

They excitedly shared with others the monsters they’d encountered and how they defeated them.

Everyone’s bags were stuffed to the brim.

Materials and gear dropped from Demon Kings and monsters alike.

Since the Goblin Slayer world was essentially a divine game board, its operating logic was very game-like.

Monsters respawned. Defeating powerful enemies could drop rare equipment and materials...

Gaining combat experience and loot—what could be better?

Akame and Kurome were already planning what monsters to hunt next.

Essex even made a chart, cataloging the Demon Kings and monsters of the Goblin Slayer world—their power levels, spawn locations, drops, drop rates, etc.

This would streamline future large-scale farming operations.

Thud—

The training team dumped several large bags of bizarre materials and gear in front of Setsuna, nearly making him laugh out loud.

This was how you maximized the residual value of the Goblin Slayer world.

They’d gained an entirely new source of magic-based tools and materials.

”Based on our estimates, ordinary monsters respawn every 3–7 days. Demon Kings and Demon Lords take a bit longer.”

”Once we identify new monster bases, I’ll schedule more training missions.”

Setsuna reviewed the stats report and nodded.

The training squads were clearing monsters faster than they could respawn.

Because it took time for the gods to notice monsters were gone and toss down new ones.

Still, repeatedly farming them so quickly felt a bit excessive—maybe they should allow time for monsters to respawn properly.

”Alright then, from now on the Goblin Slayer world is our official training ground.”

”Of course, goblins should still be exterminated completely.”

...

Goblin Slayer world—high-dimensional space.

Invisible to ordinary people, with no fixed form, the gods—pure beings of energy—had a rare argument.

They had fought bitterly over control of the world before. Since they were evenly matched, a winner couldn’t be decided.

So they settled it with luck—dice rolls—to determine fate through a game-like board.

This game had gone on for thousands of years.

The God of Fantasy was tied to adventure. His dice rolls shaped thrilling experiences for adventurers.

The God of Reality laid traps and monsters. The Earth Mother and other gods also participated, shaping the destiny of humans and monsters on the planet.

But now something was off—the game board had glitched.

”Why is it that every time I drop monsters—Demon Lords, Demon Kings, or goblins—they’re all dead within days?!”

”Can someone explain this to me?!”

The God of Reality turned to the God of Fantasy with a soul-searching question.

Every time he felt the world lacked monsters and threw some down, they were soon completely wiped out.

Not a single goblin left.

He double-checked many times. His monsters were being slain by adventurers.

Thanks to the EX-level Presence Concealment skill, the training squads were fully disguised as natives, their behavior rationalized in the gods’ perception.

”Maybe you just rolled low.”

The God of Fantasy was smug—he was thoroughly dominating his rival.

”Rolled your ***! I threw three sixes and even the Demon King got one-shot, okay?!”

The God of Reality nearly cursed.

Even with max rolls and critical hits every swing, it was pointless.

He couldn’t even toss in overly powerful monsters. The world’s capacity was limited—too strong, and the world might be destroyed, ending the game for everyone.

”Are you cheating? Using divine power to secretly slay my monsters?!”

”Nonsense! Haven’t you seen the adventurers complaining? Saying the world is too peaceful, with no good grinding spots?”

The God of Fantasy was furious.

He also didn’t understand how the adventurers had gotten so strong—but seeing his rival frustrated made him ecstatic.

”Hurry up and toss more monsters. Otherwise, I’ll have nothing to do.”

”...”

The God of Reality grudgingly created another batch of Demon Lords, keeping a close eye on the God of Fantasy.

Two days later, the Demon Lords were wiped out again.

”...”

”I suspect someone is cheating—but for now, I have no proof.”
