Date A Live World.

After spiritron transfer and intercepting the Spirit of Origin, permanently altering history, It had completely become an ordinary pre-space era world.

There were no supernatural beings here anymore. After Westcott’s death, the remnants of DEM disbanded and crumbled.

Organizations like Ratatoskr and AST never appeared again.

Setsuna made a simple tour around and confirmed the situation with the stationed shipgirls.

Earth had essentially completed unification, with all countries and regions under unified administration, paying tribute to the suzerain state on schedule.

At ports across the continents, the constant flow of Bulin fleets could be seen, fully loaded with supplies heading toward the teleportation anchors.

Just like the Demon Slayer world, it had become a stable rear base.

Everything was in perfect order, with no mission errors.

...

Of course, after arriving in the Date A Live world, Setsuna was thinking about something else.

”Seems like I’m missing a few wives... no, a few Spirits.”

On the bridge of the Eternal Snowfall, he flipped through the Date A Live materials again.

Back when he came to this world, his goal had been the Spirit of Origin. As long as he got Mio, the rest of the Spirits could be recruited through various means.

Starting from Mio: Origami Tobiichi, Nia Honjou, Kurumi Tokisaki, Yoshino Himekawa, Kotori Itsuka... from Zero to Ten, corresponding to the ten Sephiroth of the Kabbalah, all were taken in.

However, in reality, there were still a few Spirits in the Date A Live world who did not have numbered designations.

When Setsuna remembered this, his collector’s obsession kicked in.

The whole family had to be complete.

All the Spirits were daughters of the Spirit of Origin. Missing a few just didn’t sit right!

”Hmm... If Husband wants new Spirits, just find her and let me give her another Spirit Crystal, right?”

”After all, they’re all our children.”

Mio leaned on Setsuna’s shoulder, speaking sweetly.

She had a strange feeling toward the Spirits she separated out.

They were essentially her and Setsuna’s daughters—just that sometimes the daughters fought with her over their husband.

Like Kurumi Tokisaki.

”This time’s situation is a bit different.”

Setsuna stroked his chin, lost in thought.

In the original plot, Mayuri’s true identity was that of a judge to assess whether Shido was a qualified Spirit vessel.

She wasn’t a Spirit transformed from a human like Origami, Nia, or Kurumi, but a condensation of spiritual energy.

After completing her mission and being sealed, she simply disappeared.

—Though due to Mayuri’s high popularity, there’s always the chance of her being brought back again.

Just like before, using Nia’s Narration and Archive to search, open the box, and then have Mio help lure a girl to become a Spirit was clearly no longer viable.

Rio Sonogami and Rinne Sonogami were in similar situations.

”Hiss, Commander, I have a newfound understanding of your unfaithfulness. You’re planning to have Mio mold a pretty girl for you?”

Gudako narrowed her eyes at Setsuna.

She felt this was equivalent to telling one wife to make a new wife for you.

It was just that the Spirit of Origin was so love-brained and had an incredibly good temper toward Setsuna—obedient in every way.

Anyone else would’ve started a fight long ago.

”Isn’t having a few more children nice? They’re all crystallizations of love between me and the Commander.”

Mio beamed happily, completely unconcerned.

She even patted Gudako’s head.

”Don’t forget, you’re one too.”

”???”

”Love brains are terrifying.”

Ritsuka Fujimaru just remembered she too had received a Spirit Crystal from Mio. In terms of generation, she should be calling Mio ’Mom’ and Setsuna ’Dad’.

...This seniority system might become quite chaotic in the future.

”You see me as a bro, I want to be your wife, but theoretically you’re my dad—let’s just each go with our own logic.”

”...”

”Mmm...”

After hearing Setsuna’s explanation, Mio pressed a hand to her lips, falling into deep thought.

She was seriously thinking about how to summon the Spirits Setsuna had mentioned.

”So Husband means that Mayuri was originally a monitoring system, and her Angel was Kerubiel?”

”Yeah.”

Setsuna nodded.

He decided to start with Mayuri, one at a time.

”Hmm...”

Mio closed her eyes and leaned into Setsuna’s arms, pondering for a long while.

”Creating a spiritual energy aggregate isn’t hard, but giving her a corresponding Angel... hmm... I need your help, Husband.”

”Go ahead.”

Setsuna agreed without hesitation.

”According to what you said, Mayuri is the personality managing Kerubiel. She should be composed of mixed spiritual waves from multiple Spirits...”

”In that case, if we blend the Spirits’ powers together and add in the Commander’s mana, that should be enough.”

Mio blinked her beautiful blue eyes as she explained.

”?”

”So you mean... a group party?”

Setsuna was shocked.

He didn’t mind, but a few of the loli Spirits might make that a legal grey area.

”Umm... Husband, I don’t think it needs to go that far.”

Mio blushed and nudged Setsuna.

”Creating a spiritual energy aggregate doesn’t need that much energy.”

”...That’s a shame.”

After discussing with Mio and the other shipgirls, Setsuna understood the plan.

Let each Spirit condense a bit of spiritual power and hand it over to Mio for blending—that would do.

The process wasn’t complicated. As the Spirit of Origin, Mio could handle any anomalies.

Soon, Setsuna contacted the Spirit team still stationed in the capital.

...

Half an hour later.

From Origami Tobiichi to Tohka Yatogami, all the Spirits gathered in front of Setsuna and Mio.

Grouped around on sofas, they curiously listened to his explanation.

”The Commander wants to create a new Spirit and needs our help?”

The Spirits thought it over.

Yoshino agreed without hesitation. She had been rescued by Mio and Setsuna during her illness and genuinely saw Mio as her mother. Whatever Mio said, she’d agree.

”No.”

Origami puffed out her cheeks and squinted at Setsuna.

”Commander, you’re the worst.”

”You haven’t taken me out in forever, and now you’re summoning us just to help make a new Spirit?”

”It’s like... like you played me inside and out and don’t want to take responsibility, then even ask me to give you a child—jerk.”

”???”

Origami’s metaphor made Setsuna’s eye twitch.

He’d only spent significant time with Mio and Kurumi—he couldn’t be accused of playing with the others.

”She’s right!”

Kotori backed her up.

”The last time you took us out was that time in the Akame ga Kill world.”

”Aside from Kurumi and Mio-nee, give us some attention too.”

”Yeah, come visit more often. You’re always stuck in the administrative center or port...”

”Ugh, Commander’s got new favorites and forgot us Spirits...”

The other Spirits chimed in.

...

Setsuna reflected for a moment. It was indeed a bit much to call the Spirit girls over, have them donate energy, then send them away.

He could technically order them, but that wasn’t right.

”Alright, what are your wishes?”

”If I can make them happen, I will. If you want me to keep you company, that’s fine too.”

Leaning back in his chair, Setsuna spoke generously.

It just so happened the Allspark and FTL engine projects at the base weren’t things he could speed up.

He had time to spare.

”I want to play with the Commander.”

The youngest, Yoshino, tugged on Setsuna’s sleeve.

”Sure.”

”I want...”

Just as Tohka began to speak, Setsuna tossed her a bag of soybean flour bread.

”I had all the restaurants booked out. Eat whatever you want, as much as you want, for as long as you want.”

”Japanese, French, Italian... British and Indian too, if you’re into that.”

”Yay!”

Tohka cheered.

”I want to go on a (proper) date with the Commander. Um, watch movies, stroll in the park, and...”

Miku proposed a bold request.

”Also fine.”

Setsuna agreed to all their wishes one by one.

Finally, Origami spoke softly:

”I want the Commander to be with me last.”

”If you’re uncomfortable with that, I even brought a few... props...”

”?”

Setsuna peeked into her bag.

There were a few bottles of unknown powder, handcuffs, wide tape—some rather odd items.

Thinking it over, these did fit Origami’s character.

”She’s serious?!”

The shipgirls were startled.

”You better not be like Ritsuka Fujimaru—talk big, fold fast.”

Setsuna pinched Origami’s chin and snorted.

”I’m not as perverted as her!”

Gudako loudly protested.

”I don’t accept bondage, breathplay, or dragons!”

”It’s fine. I’m okay with anything.”

Origami’s face didn’t change.

”...Alright then.”

Setsuna decided to see whether Origami was truly an all-around type—or just another glass cannon like Gudako.

...

Early the next morning.

In the Date A Live world, at the entrance of a certain park, Setsuna met up with his date.

All the Spirits from Origami Tobiichi to Tohka Yatogami.

Except for the shut-in Nia Honjou and already-life-winner Kurumi Tokisaki, everyone else had gathered.

Considering that wearing uniforms again might frighten the locals, the Spirits all changed into their usual outfits.

A group of girls like this naturally stood out in any crowd.

Upon seeing Setsuna, they immediately surrounded him.

”Commander, Commander...”

His arms were instantly filled with soft, fragrant girls, and the air around him was tinged with a faint sweet scent.

The Spirit harem’s average beauty was impressive, each with her own charm compared to the shipgirl harem.

Passersby cast envious, jealous glances.

What kind of life does this guy have to go out with so many girls?

There were even several lolis. Tsk.

”Scumbag Commander, dating so many girls at once.”

Origami Tobiichi said this, but her body didn’t back down at all—clinging to one of Setsuna’s arms and staking her claim.

She even subtly guided his hand toward her neckline.

”Everyone coming together makes it more fun.”

Setsuna pinched Origami’s cheek, patted Yoshino and Kotori’s heads, making the Spirits blush furiously.

Having spent so long in a harem, he’d developed a certain finesse in dealing with girls. Even tricky ones like Kurumi Tokisaki and Esdeath had fallen for him.

Cheering up these pure Spirits was almost too easy.

Before long, all the Spirit girls were smiling like blooming flowers, clinging to him like cats.

”Alright, let’s go one at a time.”

Setsuna gently pulled his arm from Origami’s embrace.

”Whatever date ideas you have, I’ll fulfill them.”

”First up...”

He glanced at the gathered Spirits. Every one of them had eager anticipation in their eyes.

”Tohka, you go first.”

”Thank you, Commander!”

The purple-haired girl with a ponytail pushed forward, grabbing Setsuna’s arm, then looked back at the other Spirits and pouted:

”Today the Commander is mine—none of you are allowed to interfere.”

”Tch—”

The other Spirits clicked their tongues but obediently followed behind.

Having the Commander spend a day with you meant you were the main character for that day. He would grant all your wishes.

No one else could cut in during your date.

So—

The scene became Setsuna leading Tohka by the hand, with a group of Spirits trailing behind.

”Ah...”

It was Tohka’s first time holding hands with Setsuna. Her cheeks flushed slightly, and she lowered her head, not daring to meet his eyes.

Her other hand nervously fiddled with her pleated skirt, only stealing glances at him now and then.

In front of such an inexperienced Spirit, Setsuna naturally took the lead on the date.

”Let’s eat first. What would you like?”

”Wh-Whatever you prefer...”

Tohka was so shy she couldn’t even speak clearly. Even though her mind was full of delicious foods, standing in front of this man made everything else seem unimportant.

”Hmm...”

Setsuna casually checked the map and led Tohka into a high-end restaurant.

The Spirit girls followed in a line.

They couldn’t interfere with the main date but could observe from the sidelines.

”If you’re not sure what to order, I’ll handle it.”

Setsuna looked at the bashful Tohka and ordered a table full of her favorite dishes, leaving the girl amazed.

Before dating the Spirits, he had done his homework—memorizing each girl’s preferences.

A must-have skill for maintaining harem harmony!

This was also a good chance to boost favorability, making things smoother down the road.

Tohka gobbled up her food, while Setsuna ate slowly and calmly.

”Wasteful...”

From afar, Origami Tobiichi shook her head.

She didn’t have an appetite like Tohka’s and only ordered a few snacks.

”Such a prime opportunity to date the Commander, and Tohka only wants to eat?”

”Wasteful, really wasteful, and boring too.”

”Tohka just likes it that way. The Commander said he’d do whatever we want...”

Kotori sucked on a lollipop, mulling it over.

She had already started planning where she wanted the Commander to take her.

Flipping through the world map for destinations.

”But according to the Commander’s sequence, Origami, you’re last. You should think hard about how you want him to spend time with you.”

Miku pondered her own wish—she was next and had to come up with something fast.

”I’ve already decided.”

Origami glanced at the others. Little Yoshino was still looking at parks and amusement areas.

Mukuro and Natsumi were thinking about going back into space.

Too weak. Too childish.

Origami was going bold—time for the Commander to reward her properly.

...

Over the next few days, Setsuna fulfilled each Spirit’s wish with personal dates.

Some wanted to travel to unusual places, some held concerts, others wanted to go to space.

Though spontaneous, taking time to accompany the girls wasn’t bad.

He could clearly feel how happy the Spirits were being around him—happier than any other time.

Finally, once everyone else’s dates were nearly done,

Setsuna turned to the last Spirit.

”Origami Tobiichi, where do you want to go? Have you decided?”

”Follow me.”

Origami pretended to think for a few seconds, then grabbed Setsuna’s hand and led him through a maze of streets.

They stopped in front of a building with a pink sign.

With a serious look, she said solemnly:

”Here.”

Setsuna glanced up—Love Hotel.

”Ooohhhhh—”

The Spirits who had been watching followed and let out a collective gasp—Origami never fails to impress.

The shipgirls watching from the starship facepalmed.

”Bold move, straightforward. Right up there with Taihou.”

”Tsk, even worse than Gudako...”

Setsuna looked down at the white-haired Spirit.

Cute, yes—but her personality was terrible.

”The Commander said anywhere is fine.”

Origami maintained a serious tone.

”I even brought the tools. If Commander needs help, just take a few of these.”

She shook the bottle in her hand—filled with blue pills.

”???”

”I don’t need those.”

Setsuna had a black line across his forehead.

”Really? You spend all your time with shipgirls, Heroic Spirits, and Mio-nee, right? Supplementing your stamina is important.”

”What if something goes wrong—though don’t worry, I won’t laugh. You’re still my Husband.”

As she spoke, Origami took out a suspicious-looking bottle—who knew what kind of components it had—and handed it to Setsuna.

She poured out a few pills into her palm and brought them to Setsuna’s lips.

”Ah—”

”Open up. This is today’s dose.”

”...”

As the leader of a civilization, commanding shipgirls, Heroic Spirits, Spirits, and dragon girls, with a harem countless in number—

There were many areas in which Setsuna might be questioned:

Strength not enough, can’t beat big dragon girls, magic skills not advanced enough, not as godlike as the Spirit of Origin, or not as knowledgeable as the science lolis, Sirens, or Akashi.

But one area must never be questioned.

The shipgirls, Jeanne Alter and Jeanne d’Arc, Mio, Kurumi—all could testify.

Setsuna felt Origami was dancing on a minefield.

She had tried drugging him before and was now resorting to goading.

Highly effective.

Seeing the curious gazes of the other Spirits, and the shipgirls laughing uproariously from the starship,

Actions speak louder than words.

Setsuna scooped Origami up into a bridal carry.

”Origami, you’re playing with fire, you know that?”
