Journey to Planar World

There is a common misconception among viewers of the Naruto series, namely that ninjas are common and abundant in that world. In fact, this is far from the truth.

The majority of the population of that world are ordinary people—farmers, merchants, craftsmen, civil nobility, and other commoners. It is true that potentially, all humans in that world have chakra in their bodies, a legacy from the Sage of Six Paths and its spread through descendants.

However, having chakra and processing it into ninja power are two very different things. This phenomenon is similar to the Jujutsu Kaisen world, where almost all humans produce Cursed Energy, but only a handful are able to control it to become Jujutsu Sorcerers.

Civilians know of the existence of ninjas, that’s all. They know there are men and women with village protector marks who can jump over rooftops and throw fireballs, but only that far.

How strong is a ninja really?

What’s the difference between Genin, Chūnin, and Jōnin? They don’t really understand it.

Ordinary people would never be able to imagine, let alone understand, how terrifying figures like Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama were, whose power was capable of dominating the world.

Even in the future, the brilliant achievements of Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke saving the world only became limited knowledge for ninjas who participated in the Fourth Ninja World War. Ninjas from small villages or those not involved in the war considered it an exaggerated story, just propaganda from Konoha to boost prestige.

The proof is, in his wanderings as atonement, Sasuke often met ninjas from remote villages who showed no respect or fear; what existed was only mockery and reckless challenges from those seeking fame.

If even fellow ninjas didn’t fully believe in Naruto and Sasuke’s power levels, let alone commoners. Information that reached them was very limited, often already through many layers of blur, distortion, and reduction.

In the eyes of ordinary people, Six Paths-level power was something impossible, a myth without real proof.

All this time, viewers from behind the Fourth Wall watched Naruto from the ninjas’ perspective—from Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, to the Kages. This limited perspective unconsciously created the illusion that ninjas were the mainstream, that this world was filled with those who could use chakra.

Wang Jian, who had left the Fourth Wall and plunged into this storyline, understood the true reality.

He had now left the Fourth Wall and truly participated in this storyline, fully realizing that reality.

In Konoha alone—a village with a population of hundreds of thousands—the number of active ninjas was only around ten thousand. That meant less than 10% of its population were ninjas, and that was in the strongest military village of one of the great nations. In other areas, the percentage could be much smaller.

Ninjas were rare assets, specially trained professionals, not just ordinary citizens who could use chakra.

”This person is very rich. This amount is equivalent to dozens of S-rank mission rewards. Really, I don’t understand why ninjas don’t manage this kind of wealth themselves, instead of letting it be controlled by trash humans like this corrupt noble.”

Inside a treasure vault filled with gold bars, gems, and gleaming metal coins, Wang Jian nimbly stored all that wealth into special storage scrolls.

He didn’t bother sneaking around. Using the Passport of Satan, he entered openly.

Normally, a masked and dark-clothed person in the middle of the night would immediately be detained or attacked. However, as soon as he showed that small passport, all guards, samurai, even servants just looked at him normally, letting him pass as if he were the homeowner returning from a long journey.

With the hypnotic effect of that passport, Wang Jian was even directly led by the corrupt noble himself—a fat man with a greedy face—into the most hidden treasure storage room. The noble smiled widely, proudly showing off his ”collection” as if showing achievements to an honored guest.

”Goal achieved. Before that... let’s clean up this trash.” Wang Jian whispered in his heart, his gaze becoming cold. ”If I let them live, once the hypnotic effect wears off, they will definitely replace this loss by exploiting commoners even worse.”

It wasn’t hard to guess the mindset of greedy feudal nobles. Wang Jian wouldn’t let commoners live miserable lives, even die of starvation because they couldn’t pay taxes due to him indirectly.

*PUCHI!*

So, without hesitation, Wang Jian drew his kunai. In a quick and emotionless motion, he stabbed the throat of the fat man who was the owner of this castle. Blood spurted briefly, and the corrupt noble collapsed without being able to make a sound.

Leaving the treasure vault, Wang Jian began exploring the castle and started the cleanup operation. He slaughtered anyone who looked like they might have the noble’s bloodline.

No mercy.

In his view, they were all parasites living off the suffering of the people, and letting even one of their descendants live would only perpetuate the cycle of oppression.

However, he deliberately skipped the servants, cooks, gardeners, and other workers. They were just poor people seeking a living, not part of the oppressive system.

The three Chūnin ninjas hired as guards also didn’t escape—for Wang Jian, they were ninjas who sold their abilities to the powerful, protecting evil with closed eyes.

The process went smoothly and silently. Although there was bloodshed, there was no resistance whatsoever hindering Wang Jian. As long as he held the Passport of Satan, people would ignore, justify, or even support all evil deeds he committed.

”Compared to Nobita who used the Passport of Satan only for small mischief, the way I use it is actually more fitting with its name.”

”The gadget’s name already explains everything: Passport of Satan (Devil).”

”Only in the Doraemon world that has reached Utopia. Otherwise, they wouldn’t create various dangerous gadgets that if misused could destroy the world, but instead sell them to civilians as if they were household furniture. That’s crazy.”

After finishing, Wang Jian left the castle now filled with the iron scent of blood and death. The sky was still dark, but dawn had not yet broken.

”Still have time before sunrise. Let’s go to the Hokage’s Office.”

With that decision, Wang Jian’s body shot back toward Konoha, leaving the capital of the Land of Fire still asleep—and one noble family that had been erased from the power map, along with all their wealth that had now changed hands.
