Journey to Planar World

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu was a technique created by Senju Tobirama, the Second Hokage, who passed it down to subsequent generations.

At its core, the technique requires two things: perfect chakra control and a massive chakra reserve. Thus, only members of the Senju Clan, with their extraordinary chakra capacity, were known to sustain it long-term without depletion.

Due to the fatal risks to the user, the technique was quickly classified as a Forbidden Technique. Even an exceptional Jonin could not create more than four Shadow Clones at once, as chakra division would render the ninja utterly defenseless.

One exception was those of Uzumaki Clan descent, thanks to their vast chakra reserves and physical resilience when chakra is split into multiple parts.

Wang Jian met both conditions for using Kage Bunshin no Jutsu without strain. His Cursed Energy capacity was immense, perfectly substituting for chakra. Even more astonishing were his Six Eyes, granting absolute control over energy down to the atomic level. For him, dividing energy among a dozen clones was as effortless as breathing.

With this deadly combination, Wang Jian—using Gojo Satoru’s template—easily replicated Uzumaki Naruto’s signature fighting style: overwhelming the enemy with a sea of Shadow Clones.

However, using Kage Bunshin no Jutsu recklessly was not without consequences. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be classified as forbidden.

The true danger of the technique lies not only in chakra exhaustion but in the unbearable mental strain. Each time a Shadow Clone is destroyed, all its memories, experiences, and sensations flood back to the original body instantly. Receiving this torrent of information can cause mental overload, crippling headaches, and total disorientation.

Worse still, Shadow Clones are real physical entities. They can be injured, and they feel pain. When they vanish, the psychological trauma and final wave of physical pain—the agony of their bodies being torn apart—are transmitted directly to the user’s consciousness.

Imagine dozens of clones dying brutally; their fear, horror, and suffering would overwhelm the original’s mind in an instant.

*BOOOMMMMM!*

The second Hollow Purple explosion struck before the first wave of destruction fully subsided.

Wang Jian had ordered his Shadow Clone to fire another 200% Hollow Purple while All for One was still recovering with Rewind. He had to ensure his enemy couldn’t escape.

”Ughhh… Now I somewhat understand Natsuki Subaru’s mindset. An ordinary person would easily descend into madness after repeatedly experiencing the pain of death.”

Caught in the blast to prevent All for One’s escape, Wang Jian endured not only the physical pain of his body being shredded and simultaneously healed by Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT), but also piercing headaches from receiving memories of thousands of Shadow Clones dying—memories of being burned, crushed, and sliced apart. His mind was momentarily chaotic.

”Ughhh… After this Quest, I need to request a Reward that lets me sneak in and steal the Sealing Scroll from the Hokage Building. Buying ninjutsu on the black market doesn’t bring significant growth for me.”

Wang Jian recognized his lack of flexibility and variety in combat style.

The highest-ranked ninjutsu available on the black market was only B-rank, while he needed high-ranked ninjutsu to evolve further and face escalating threats.

*RUMBLE!*

Thick smoke and dust began to settle from the second explosion.

In the center of the now-double crater in Giza stood All for One. His appearance had grown even younger. Now, he looked like an eight-year-old child. His eyes burned with inhuman rage.

”YOU—”

All for One, now in a child’s body, roared in fury, attempting to launch a counterattack from his tiny hands.

*SWOOSH!*

Before he could finish, a third Hollow Purple, teleported by a Shadow Clone, arrived beside him.

*BOOOOMMMMM!*

Another devastating explosion erupted, completing the pyramid’s destruction.

*BOOOOMMMMM!*

*BOOOOMMMMM!*

*BOOOOMMMMM!*

Wang Jian repeated the same tactic. Whenever All for One tried to flee, he pinned him down by any means, then let a prepared Shadow Clone detonate Hollow Purple.

This cruelty toward both enemy and self was the only path.

”DAMN IT! YOU’RE CRAZIER THAN ALL MIGHT!!!” All for One screamed, his voice now like a whining child.

But that scream was his last. The relentless forced use of Rewind from Hollow Purple attacks regressed All for One’s age to infancy, then to nothingness—particles of dust, vanishing from the world forever.

”…”

Silence reclaimed Giza. Wang Jian dispelled all remaining Shadow Clones, and the collective memories and pain of their deaths flooded his mind. He suppressed nausea and stabbing headaches.

”Haah… Haah… Seriously, if I had the Uzumaki Clan’s sealing techniques, this fight wouldn’t have been this hard.”

Teleporting away from the battlefield, Wang Jian landed on the roof of a resident’s house whose owner had perished. He sat limply, his clothes tattered, body covered in scratches and bruises.

He panted. Horrific wounds exposing flesh healed rapidly thanks to RCT.

Wang Jian closed his eyes, processing the battle’s end. All for One was gone. The mental and physical toll was the price of this dirty victory.

Finally, Wang Jian allowed himself to collapse. He lay on his back atop the cracked clay roof, staring at the Egyptian sky shrouded in thick clouds.

”Ah, so exhausting! Compared to the ninja world, where I only had to watch for Ōtsutsuki and prevent being sealed, I was nearly invincible below Six-Paths level!”

Wang Jian reflected on the difference. In the Planar World: Naruto, his Infinity was an absolute defense nearly impenetrable by anyone. His power was at Super Kage level—equivalent to Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama at the end of the Warring States Period.

The power scale in Planar World: Naruto started from Genin, Chunin, Special Jonin, Jonin, Kage, Super Kage, Quasi-Six Paths, and Six Paths.

With Gojo Satoru’s full template, Wang Jian believed his power was Super Kage, above the Five Kage of the Hidden Villages.

”But every time I undertake a Quest in a Planar World, that sense of invincibility vanishes. The enemies I face are incredibly tough.”

Wang Jian closed his eyes. His brain still throbbed from the overload of memories from thousands of dead Shadow Clones, but physical and mental exhaustion dominated.

”Before resting, find a safe place first. Don’t let the Abyssal Devourer mobilize monsters to surround me in this state.”

He just wanted to sleep. Still, Wang Jian forced himself up and began searching for a secure area to rest.
