Journey to Planar World

Wang Jian brought the two pregnant girls to his residence, a simple rental house located in a workers’ residential area on the outskirts of Konoha.

The two-story wooden house looked simple and aged: the wooden materials had begun to rot in some parts eaten by time, the paint on the walls had faded, and there were several roof tiles that had shifted slightly.

In short, it looked shabby and neglected.

”Well, I know compared to your former luxurious and magnificent residences, my place doesn’t deserve to be called a house.” Wang Jian said while opening the door with his key. ”After all, a Genin-ranked ninja’s income is barely enough for myself.”

He entered first, followed by Moeha and Tsubame.

”This is somewhat unexpected. Turns out Jian-kun lives in a slum like this.” Moeha commented bluntly after observing the room with curious eyes. ”Could it be you like a frugal living lifestyle?”

The room was a very messy 1LDK unit. Clothes were scattered on the floor and sofa, creating random piles. In the small kitchen area, piles of dirty dishes were stacked high in the sink, as if they hadn’t been touched for a week. The aroma of long-dried cooking mixed with the smell of dust, creating a truly masculine atmosphere.

”So this is what a man living alone’s room looks like. Very messy, this is just as I imagined.” Tsubame muttered while slowly bending down—not easy with her bulging belly—to pick up the scattered clothes. ”Jian-kun, next time don’t be lazy about putting dirty clothes in the basket. This can attract insects.”

”Sorry. There won’t be a next time.”

Wang Jian smiled seeing Tsubame already taking on the wife’s role at home, even though it was his shabby rental house.

”Tsubame-san! Look at this! There’s a TV! Not only that, there’s also a washing machine!”

Moeha suddenly exclaimed in surprise, pointing to a black-and-white tube television and semi-automatic washing machine perched in the bathroom corner. Her initial impression of Konoha as a backward village changed slightly.

”The technology tree imbalance in this world is indeed somewhat strange.” Wang Jian explained while helping Tsubame tidy up some items. ”There are cameras, TVs, and computers in some places, but no mobile phones and cars. Here, ninjutsu is mainstream, the focus on chakra and individual abilities often hinders the development of everyday science and technology.”

Tsubame and Moeha nodded, beginning to understand the new world they would be living in.

Moeha didn’t just stand by and watch, she also helped tidy up the messy room. However, as a young lady pampered since childhood, she more often made things worse instead of helping.

When folding clothes, the results were terribly messy; when trying to wash dishes, she almost dropped several glasses. But at least her intentions were sincere.

On the other hand, although also from a prominent family, Tsubame was more skilled in household matters.

Since high school, she had been living independently in her own apartment. Although she often relied on eating out or ordering through apps, she was still used to cleaning her room and occasionally cooking for herself. If not for her pregnancy which had entered its eighth month, she might have been able to finish everything herself quickly and neatly.

”Phew~ so exhausting.”

Tsubame slowly sat on the sofa that had been cleaned. Her eyes looked at the pile of trash in plastic bags in the corner of the room, remembering that this might be the first time in recent years she had done household work this intensely.

”Jian-kun, I’m thirsty~ do you have barley tea?” Moeha shouted from the small kitchen, while opening the nearly empty refrigerator. Its contents were just a few bottles of cold water and several boxes of regular milk.

”No tea. Just drink milk.”

”Good job, Tsubame.”

Wang Jian walked toward Tsubame. Gently, he stood behind her and began massaging her slightly stiff shoulders.

”Milk isn’t bad either. Tsubame-san, I brought some for you too.” Moeha said cheerfully, placing three cups of milk on the low table.

Sitting opposite, she sipped her milk while her eyes focused on Wang Jian and Tsubame with a meaningful gaze.

”What is it, Moeha? Why are you looking at me like that?”

Tsubame felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at by Moeha with such an intense gaze.

Moeha didn’t blink, her eyes focused on Tsubame’s chest area which was now getting bigger.

”Just feeling that Tsubame-san’s chest size is getting bigger. That must be thanks to Jian-kun greedily sucking breast milk for the baby.”

”Cough! Cough...!”

Wang Jian choked badly. His massage stopped. He stared at Moeha with an expression mixing shock and resignation at her straightforward and uncensored words.

”Moeha!!!”

Tsubame’s face immediately turned red like a ripe tomato, contrasting with Moeha who remained calm and even smiled slightly.

Compared to Moeha who could talk about lewd things without changing expression, Tsubame clearly couldn’t stand it.

”Oh yes, lately my breasts have started producing breast milk. I can share the burden with Tsubame-san!” Moeha suddenly exclaimed, with an innocent expression but very explicit content. ”How about it, Jian-kun? Want to try the taste of my breast milk? I want to hear your opinion, is there a difference in taste between mine and Tsubame-san’s.”

While speaking, Moeha casually lifted the upper half of her clothes, ready to show proof of her words.

”Stop, Moeha! It’s still daytime!”

Wang Jian hurriedly stopped Moeha’s movement. He knew the girl wasn’t joking—she was truly serious and didn’t feel embarrassed at all. Moeha’s spontaneous and sensual actions made Tsubame even more flustered.

”Ya~~~”

Moeha sighed dramatically long while lowering her clothes again, giggling at Wang Jian’s awkward reaction.

”Speaking of night activities. That mattress only fits one person. The three of us won’t fit.” She continued while pointing toward the bedroom.

”Don’t worry. I’ll buy a large-sized mattress this afternoon. And also, we won’t be here long. We’ll move to a better house as soon as I take care of some things.”

After finishing the light massage on Tsubame’s shoulders, Wang Jian sat beside her.

”Is the money enough? Don’t push yourself, Jian-kun.”

Tsubame voiced her concern about the family’s finances. She knew Wang Jian was deliberately hiding his strength.

Wang Jian hugged Tsubame’s shoulders and looked at Moeha across from him.

”Tsubame, Moeha, listen to me carefully. All this time, the reason I lived a Frugal Living lifestyle—living in this shabby rental, accepting lowly missions—wasn’t because I couldn’t make money.”

”I just felt there was no use having more money than I could spend. The power I have is enough for myself. I had no purpose, so I lived simply.”

Wang Jian strengthened his embrace.

”But now, the situation is different. I have both of you, and our future children. I have responsibilities. Providing a decent life—a comfortable home, nutritious food, a safe environment—to you is a necessity for me.”

”Jian-kun...” Tsubame whispered, her eyes welling up. Warm feelings overflowed in her chest.

”Oh my, Jian-kun is so cool!” Moeha exclaimed, jumping slightly—as much as possible with a belly starting to bulge—and hugging Wang Jian from the side.

In their hearts, both Tsubame and Moeha felt equally relieved and happy.

Their decision to surrender and dedicate their lives to this man turned out not to be a mistake. They had chosen the right person as a husband and father for their children.

Wang Jian was not only strong, but also responsible and full of affection.
