Journey to Planar World

Everything went smoothly.

When Wang Jian showed the Passport of Satan to Kotetsu and Izumo, both immediately believed his explanation about Moeha and Tsubame without the slightest doubt.

Their eyes even sparkled with appreciation as they congratulated Wang Jian for managing to get two such beautiful wives.

In fact, if their logic functioned normally, it wouldn’t be difficult for two experienced ninjas to find holes in Wang Jian’s narrative—two women from outside the village who were pregnant, brought in without official documents, an unusual marriage claim—everything should have been suspicious.

However, the hypnotic power of the Passport of Satan clouded their critical judgment, making all the oddities feel natural. In this regard, its ability was even more indisputable than the strongest genjutsu, Kotoamatsukami.

Thus, Wang Jian brought the two women carrying his children into Konoha freely.

Konoha Village appeared bustling and prosperous during the day. Stone-paved streets were crowded with pedestrians, merchants shouting to offer their wares, children running between food stalls emitting tempting aromas.

Traditional Japanese wooden and plaster buildings stood neatly, some decorated with paper lanterns and ornamental plants.

In the distance, the large stone faces of the Hokages were carved majestically on the mountain cliff, watching over the village calmly. The atmosphere felt safe and orderly, a reflection of stability tightly maintained by Konoha’s ninja system.

However, Moeha only observed her surroundings with a flat expression before finally commenting softly.

”Hmm... How should I describe Konoha... This village feels primitive.”

That was her honest assessment.

For most outsiders visiting Konoha for the first time, they were usually amazed by its grandeur and prosperity—organized streets, busy markets, peaceful atmosphere difficult to find in other ninja villages.

No wonder the four great nations were often envious and greedy toward the Land of Fire blessed with abundant natural resources.

However, Moeha was a young woman who grew up and was raised in an elite urban environment, in the midst of advanced modern civilization that had electricity, internet, autonomous cars, and skyscrapers.

She had seen and experienced the prosperity of 21st-century civilization. So to her, Konoha was just a large backward village.

As the saying goes: it’s easy to switch from simple to luxurious, but difficult to switch from luxurious to simple.

”Moeha, watch your words.” Tsubame reprimanded in a low voice. ”Don’t make things difficult for Jian-kun.”

As newcomers, they had to adapt, not highlight differences. Moeha’s words earlier were heard by some passing pedestrians, and they looked at her with unfriendly glances.

”Tehee✩ sorry, I’ll be more careful.” Moeha answered while squinting her eyes and smiling sweetly, trying to appear cute.

Wang Jian, who was walking with both his arms tightly embraced by the two pregnant women, didn’t say anything.

However, in his heart, he actually had the same perspective as Moeha. This ninja world was indeed strong individually, but in terms of civilization and technology, they were still far behind.

”Hm? Jian? Who are those two women at your side?”

The voice came from the opposite direction. Wang Jian turned and saw a tall figure with spiky silver hair and a black mask covering half his face—none other than Hatake Kakashi, the captain of Team 7 who had just been complained about by Naruto for his lateness.

Seeing Kakashi’s hair color similar to Wang Jian’s, Tsubame immediately assumed they were relatives. With the graceful attitude characteristic of a virtuous wife, she bowed slightly and introduced herself in a gentle voice.

”Hello. My name is Koyasu Tsubame, and I am Jian-kun’s wife. Please guide us.”

Seeing Tsubame’s graceful action, Moeha who always wanted to be the center of attention didn’t want to lose. However, she delivered it with her cheerful attitude.

”And I’m Fujiwara Moeha! I’m also Jian-kun’s wife! We are both very grateful that Jian-kun has brought us to Konoha. Hopefully we can become close soon!”

”W-Wives? Two of them?!”

Kakashi’s eyes, which were usually half-drowsy, suddenly opened wide, almost making his mask slip.

He stared at Wang Jian with an incredulous look—the man who not long ago was still single and often invited by him to drink beer in the middle of the night, suddenly appeared with two beautiful women who were pregnant, and both claimed to be his wives?!

Calmly, Wang Jian took out the Passport of Satan and briefly showed it in front of Kakashi’s eyes. While repeating the same narrative he used on Izumo and Kotetsu:

”They are both residents of a small village on the border. I met them on my last mission, and circumstances brought us together. Now they are my family.”

The friendship between Wang Jian who was just a Genin and Kakashi who had elite Jōnin status did sound unusual.

Initially, it was Kakashi who started the conversation out of curiosity about the similarity of their hair color. He had suspected Wang Jian might be a descendant of the Hatake clan separated from Konoha.

Over time, despite different levels, they often exchanged stories or simply sat quietly enjoying the view from the rooftops, and gradually formed a casual yet mutually respectful friendship.

”I see... Congratulations on your new life, Jian.”

Kakashi nodded slowly. Although his logic still felt something was off, a voice in his head kept convincing him that all this was natural.

He patted Wang Jian’s shoulder warmly, then turned to Moeha and Tsubame with the polite attitude characteristic of ninja.

”In that case, I’ll excuse myself. For the next few days I’ll be leaving Konoha to carry out a mission to the Land of Waves.”

Kakashi turned and immediately hurried away—partly because he was indeed late, partly because he was afraid Wang Jian would suddenly tease him with questions like, ”When is your turn to get married?”

”Is he your relative, Jian-kun? He wears a mask covering his face. He must be handsome, right?” Moeha asked curiously after Kakashi left.

”You’re right, Moeha. Kakashi has a handsome face, though of course not as handsome as me.” Wang Jian answered with a light smile. ”Let’s go to my place now.”

He gently patted Moeha’s head, then guided the two women through the streets of Konoha toward his rental house.
