Saying death now is too inauspicious!

Naoki quickly stopped the conversation: ”Stop stop stop!”

Koraidon came to a halt.

Naoki took a deep breath and said, ”Now you get it, right? There’s nothing to worry about with such things.”

Koraidon obediently nodded: ”Aga ssss!” (Got it!)

Seeing Koraidon’s spirits lift a bit, Naoki breathed a sigh of relief, feeling very happy, and playfully blocked Koraidon’s nostrils, saying to it:

”Alright, tonight I’m setting up a floor bed and sleeping with you!”

This was the only way he could reassure Koraidon’s heart.

As Alder might reflect, the future remains unknown. For them, what’s most important is to seize the present and enjoy every moment spent with the Pokemon.

Hearing this, Koraidon’s eyes lit up, and it pounced on Naoki with a paw, helping to wash his face with its large tongue.

Naoki, with his face smeared in saliva, thought: ”...”

Oh well, as long as Koraidon is happy.

After Koraidon finished licking, Naoki finally got up. ”Alright, go play with everyone! I just brought back a new Pokemon from outside, and I need to arrange a place for it to stay.”

Koraidon nodded.

Naoki said goodbye to it and prepared to find a suitable spot for Snorlax in the ranch.

Koraidon then went over to Cyclizar and exchanged a look with it.

A suitable place for Snorlax to live in the ranch...

In fact, Snorlax as a Pokemon is very laid-back, with no particular requirements for food and shelter.

As long as it’s not in extreme places like icy volcanoes, it can just lie down anywhere and sleep peacefully.

Naoki surveyed the ranch, looking at the empty space across the river, and considering Snorlax’s characteristics, he quickly had an idea.

Slides, seesaws, sandpits, tree swings, Snorlax’s belly, trampolines...

Naoki immediately went to the other side of the river, looked at the vacant land before him, and then took out Snorlax’s Poke Ball to release it.

A white light flashed, and Snorlax appeared on the grass.

It continued to sleep soundly on the grass, not waking up.

”Gentle temperament... belly can be used as a trampoline...”

Naoki thought for a moment, then carefully began to climb onto Snorlax’s large belly.

Soon, he was completely lying on Snorlax’s soft, bouncy belly, which felt like a waterbed.

Snorlax: zzZ

”Still sound asleep, huh!” Naoki tried bouncing a couple of times, but Snorlax didn’t mind at all, showing no reaction.

Under the blue sky and white clouds, with the gentle breeze, the view extended to the vast expanses of wide open fields.

Naoki lay on Snorlax’s belly with a face full of wonder, treating it as an outdoor bed.

Comfortable!

Not just children; even adults love Snorlax!

After lying there for a while, Naoki reluctantly got off Snorlax’s belly.

He looked at the grassy area around, and his mind automatically started planning this area.

First, a big tree should be planted beside Snorlax, with a wooden swing set under it, where he and the Pokemon could swing in the breeze.

Next, a large pit could be dug into the grass, filled with a thick layer of golden sand, for building sandcastles or sunbathing.

Finally, a slide and seesaw should be installed on the other side.

This would create a relaxing park centered around Snorlax.

The sandpit and swing set could be easily solved with money, and Calyrex could help accelerate the tree’s growth.

Without delay, that afternoon, Naoki drove to Keri to order a batch of wood and bought a tall tree sapling from Elo’s seed shop.

Next, Naoki went to the department store to buy a slide and a seesaw.

To set up the sandpit, he drove to the beach and brought back a truckload of sand to the ranch.

Once all the materials were ready, Naoki led a group of Pokemon to start building.

Using a hammer and screws to install the slide and seesaw on the grass, and using a shovel to dig a large pit to fill it with sand.

Then, Naoki planted the sapling on the grass and invited Calyrex over.

A burst of intense light flashed, and the sapling disappeared, replaced by a sturdy tree nearly eight meters tall.

The final step was to assemble the swing set and secure it under the big tree.

By evening, with the sky filled with twilight, Naoki gathered around with a group of Pokemon in the small park centered around Snorlax.

”Alright, from now on you can play here!” Naoki waved his hand emphatically and announced loudly.

But before he could finish, a bunch of excited Pokemon had already rushed to the playground.

Ogerpon was very interested in the swing, and, after a bit of exploration, it figured out how to sit on it and started swinging.

Dragonair were very interested in the children’s slide. They flew up and slid down the slide, letting out ”woo woo woo” sounds, sounding quite thrilled.

Pawmo and Alcremie gathered around Snorlax, and after some cautious exploration and a nod from Naoki, they climbed up and treated Snorlax’s belly like a trampoline, bouncing and playing.
