A spectacular battle concluded, and numerous guests and Trainers headed to their rooms to change out of their rain-soaked clothes.

Seeing this, Naoki couldn’t help but feel a bit embarrassed.

In its excitement, Dragonite forgot to control the range of its Rain Dance...

Fortunately, no one blamed him. Everyone was accustomed to such occurrences and left laughing and chatting.

Lance didn’t rush to change his clothes. He released a few injured Pokemon and fed them some bottles of healing milk.

As the bottles of milk went down, the weakened Dragonite and others began to open their eyes, and their injuries started to heal visibly.

”This is...” Lance was slightly surprised. He had never seen a remedy as effective as this.

”It’s special healing milk from my ranch, very effective for injured Pokemon,” Naoki replied with a smile.

Healing milk... huh? Lance looked at the remaining bottle of milk, slightly dazed.

The transparent glass bottle was adorned with caricatures of three Skiddo, their heads close together, displaying pure, innocent smiles, looking extremely cute.

The bottle was filled with a milky white liquid, gently swaying under the moonlight.

At that moment, a loud, carefree voice called out from the side:

”Hey, hey, hey! You’re just giving away such precious milk? I had to pay a high price to get it!”

Lance looked away from the milk and, along with Naoki, turned towards the approaching Alder, Boss Clay, and Nemona’s father.

Alder said jealously, ”I never got such special treatment.”

Naoki: ”...”

Volcarona beside them made a sound to remind Alder that it was thanks to the milk gifted by Naoki that it had recovered.

Alder laughed heartily: ”Just kidding! Just kidding! Long time no see, Lance!”

Lance nodded towards Alder, greeting, ”Same here, Mr. Alder.”

”Dad! This is the Mr. Naoki I told you about, who runs a ranch and delivers goods with a whole group of Dragonite!” Young Nemona ran over, jumping into her father’s embrace.

Nikar nodded repeatedly: ”Yes, yes, of course, I remember.”

Not only did he remember, but through Alder he also gained a deeper understanding of this young man.

Seeing that they had finished their battle, Nikar’s eyes lit up, finally seizing the opportunity to ask the question he was curious about:

”Hello, Naoki, I am Nikar, the owner of Rotom Technology Company. Are you the author of this proposal about the Rotom Phone?”

”That’s right.” Naoki’s heart stirred slightly, and he asked smoothly, ”With the current technology, is it possible to create such electronic devices?”

Although Nikar was very intrigued, he couldn’t give a definite answer at that moment:

”I can’t decide on the specifics yet. I’ll need to return and discuss it with the R&D team before reaching a conclusion.”

”I see...” Naoki nodded thoughtfully, not surprised.

Nikar cleared his throat, his voice somewhat excited: ”So... are you really going to give this proposal to our company? To collaborate with us?”

This banquet gathered many big bosses, including some from other regions developing electronic devices.

The Rotom Phone has great potential. If done well, their company would certainly have a significant presence worldwide in the future.

Naoki wasn’t thinking about those complexities; he just wanted to get to use a smartphone soon, so he nodded: ”Because we’re all from Paldea!”

Nikar immediately sighed in relief: ”I understand. Please leave me your contact information, and once we have results, we’ll contact you immediately to discuss your share of the rewards.”

Naoki nodded politely, not refusing.

Nikar saw that the Trainers here still had more to say, so he didn’t disturb them further and left decisively.

Soon, only Naoki, Nemona, Alder, Lance, and Boss Clay were left.

They all heard the previous conversation, and Alder couldn’t help but curiously ask, ”Rotom Phone?”

He connected it with the already developed Rotom devices and asked, ”Is it similar to those Rotom appliances like the washing machine?”

Beside them, Boss Clay also cast a curious look this way.

Naoki pondered for a moment, then explained: ”Yes and no. Unlike a washing machine, it isn’t a household appliance but a portable communication device similar to a video phone.”

Boss Clay, Lance, and Alder instantly turned curious. Though they were Gym Leaders and Champions, there were still many things in this world they didn’t know.

Seeing this, Naoki continued: ”Besides basic communication functions, it has many other features, such as online shopping, navigation via satellite signals, and video communication.”

Navigation and video communication are easy to understand, but what about online shopping?

Nemo innocently asked: ”What is online shopping? Is it shopping on a web woven by Ariados?”

Naoki: ”...No, online shopping is about connecting every region via the internet and then using messaging functions to contact people in other areas, allowing you to buy the items you need from them.”
