Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Suffocation in the Elevator Lobby...

At the front desk.

Tangtang quickly and efficiently signed up. A three-year membership card for 51,800 yuan, plus one hundred private training sessions at 500 yuan each, brought the total to 101,800 yuan.

She swiped her card without batting an eye.

Lin Chu hadn’t come over yet; he was still in the weight machine area.

Once she was done, she hurried over to him.

Wang Lei glanced over but was tactful enough not to follow. He couldn’t stop a grin from spreading across his face. Awesome!

’The boss is a fucking legend!’

’Running a gym is turning out to be a strange experience, almost like managing a host club. A female client shows up and drops a hundred thousand yuan just like that.’

He even started to wonder, ’The commission for the membership is definitely mine, but what about the private sessions? I wouldn’t dare train her myself.’

’Private training involves physical contact. A lot of it.’

’Besides, it’s not even certain she’ll take the classes.’

’She’s clearly just here for the boss himself.’

”So, for a client like me, do you offer any... special services?”

Tangtang walked up to Lin Chu again. Seeing that the trainer hadn’t followed, she leaned against Lin Chu’s back, getting close to his ear, and whispered breathily.

”Nope.”

”That would cost extra.”

Lin Chu teased with a smile, ”You only spent that much on a membership, and you’re already trying to get my two hundred million?”

This strange ”return rate” made Lin Chu feel a little proud.

After all, it was a form of validation.

It was really big.

Tangtang was momentarily speechless, then pouted playfully, ”I don’t care! I want you to be my coach! Coach, I want to work on my chest!”

Lin Chu: ”...”

”You’re so small, you don’t need to.”

Her delicate fists immediately started hammering on him.

Lin Chu laughed and caught them. After a moment’s thought, he said, ”How about we go for a swim? I just worked out for over an hour and I’m beat. I need to recover.”

Her: ”I didn’t bring a swimsuit!”

Lin Chu: ”We’ll close the gym. No swimsuits needed. We can just swim.”

Her: ”...”

While the two of them were joking around, someone else arrived at the gym’s entrance.

She was dressed quite formally—a white blouse, dress pants, and high heels, looking very sophisticated and elegant.

Chen Jinyu.

Cui Xiaodan instinctively sensed trouble. She shot a look at Wang Lei before quickly getting up to greet the newcomer. ”Hello, ma’am. Welcome.”

She deliberately spoke a little louder than usual.

She hoped Lin Chu, who was in the back, would hear her.

’This gym usually doesn’t have a single customer, but suddenly they’re showing up right after the boss posted on his Moments. Something’s definitely up.’

’Even if there isn’t a problem, I should give him a heads-up.’

In the workout area.

Hearing her voice, Lin Chu coughed lightly and patted Tangtang on the butt. ”You work out on your own for a bit. Pretend you don’t know me. We’ve got company, and it might be a friend of Fengzi’s. I’m going to see who it is.”

As he said this, Lin Chu felt his own heart start to beat a little faster.

’A woman?’

Tangtang nodded lightly. ”Go on. I get it.”

Lin Chu got up and walked quickly toward the front desk. The moment he saw Chen Jinyu, he smiled.

”Sister Chen, you’re here.”

”Welcome, welcome. An honor to have you.”

Chen Jinyu watched him with a deep, quiet gaze and said calmly, ”I saw your Moments post, so I came to show some support. This place is nice, and it’s close to my office and my home.”

With employees around, she didn’t show any strong emotion—in fact, she showed no emotion at all, acting just like a casual friend.

She even found an excuse for herself: ’It’s close, that’s why I came.’

Lin Chu nodded with a smile, pressing his hands together. ”Of course, thank you so much.”

”Sign me up for a year-long membership first. I have to get back to work, but I’ll come by again after I get off.”

Chen Jinyu said softly, her eyes glancing at Lin Chu. Seeing that he had just finished working out, his sweat not yet dry, she felt a flicker of admiration.

’Working out is a great habit, of course.’

”Sure thing! Leizi!”

”Help my sister here with the paperwork.”

Chen Jinyu completed the process at the front desk and paid. After a moment’s thought, she turned to Lin Chu and said, ”Come with me for a second.”

She got up and walked toward the exit.

Lin Chu smiled, walked out with her, and then quickened his pace to get a few steps ahead.

He pulled open the door to the stairwell.

The entire floor was taken up by the gym, and this stairwell was almost never used, leaving it dark and gloomy.

The moment they were inside, just like last time, Lin Chu didn’t give her a chance to speak. He pressed her against the door and leaned in.

In the darkness, Chen Jinyu’s eyes went wide.

’Last time was one thing, at least we were at home. But this time... a place like this is basically a public space. Even if there are no cameras, someone could walk in at any moment.’

’This is insane.’

’Truly insane.’

But it was precisely this insanity that gave her a thrill she’d never experienced before. She felt the hairs on her body stand on end, her five senses sharpened to their absolute peak.

In the darkness.

Lin Chu pulled her into a wild, passionate kiss.

’I know a place like this isn’t classy or elegant,’ he thought, ’but with a woman like her, fancy restaurants, coffee shops, and all those glamorous places don’t really do it for her. She’s used to all that.’

’You have to do the opposite.’

Until...

They broke apart. ℴℴ𝘮

”Wipe off your lipstick. I’ll check my schedule, but if I’m free tonight, I’ll come over to your place for dinner.”

Lin Chu said with a smile, then turned, opened the door, and walked away.

Chen Jinyu leaned her back against the wall in the dim stairwell. She had to take several deep breaths before she realized her whole body was covered in a fine, damp layer of sweat.

’Huh?’

’I feel like I had something to say.’

’But that kiss made me forget.’

...

Standing at the entrance, Lin Chu glanced inside. Tangtang hadn’t come out.

About a minute later, Chen Jinyu emerged from the stairwell, her composed and elegant demeanor fully restored. She walked toward the elevators without a change in her expression.

”Take care, Sis.”

Lin Chu pursed his lips, making a kissing gesture.

She remained tense, careful not to betray any emotion. She nodded, gave a casual smile as if nothing had happened, and walked quickly to the elevators. After pressing the button, with her back to Lin Chu, she couldn’t resist glancing back one more time.

His devil-may-care smile filled her vision.

’He’s not exceptionally handsome,’

’but he’s very charming.’

’Mischievous and roguish.’

When the elevator arrived, she pursed her lips and was about to step inside when a group of four or five men came streaming out.

The man in the lead was none other than Li Kai. Seeing Lin Chu at the entrance, Li Kai grinned. ”Brother Chu, we’re here! Congratulations on the grand opening! I brought some of the guys over to celebrate with you. We’re all gym rats.”

Lin Chu walked over with a smile, gave him a hug, then shook hands and did a half-embrace with the others.

”Welcome! Whoa, you guys really came through for me. Come on, let’s head inside and talk.”

”Damn, look at you guys. Every one of you is built like a trainer.”

Only then did Chen Jinyu step into the elevator.

As the elevator doors slowly closed, she watched the scene unfold, a smile of admiration touching her lips.

’Lin Chu has so many friends.’

’It’s a clear sign of his social standing.’

’They must be here to sign up for memberships.’
