Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 50: Chapter 50: The Gym’s First New Client

Lin Chu felt like he’d had a nightmare. In the dream, he was a monkey trapped under Five Elements Mountain, unable to get a drink of water. He hadn’t eaten a single one of his beloved bananas in five hundred years and was about to go mad. To make matters worse, the Queen of the Kingdom of Women was striking seductive poses in front of him, with the Tang Monk in her arms...

He snapped awake.

Only to find he was nearly being crushed to death.

’They must have all had too much to drink, right?’

Shoving the person off, Lin Chu walked to the floor-to-ceiling window of his room in the presidential suite. He imagined that classic scene, lit a cigarette, and after finishing it, his mind was completely clear.

’Safety shouldn’t be an issue.’

’Girls who work in a place like that definitely have regular checkups. They’re probably safer than a random hookup from the outside.’

He just felt a little drained.

Just a little.

Wine is a poison that guts you; lust is a steel blade that scrapes your bones.

Now, in his moment of post-nut clarity, his words certainly sounded tough.

He took a shower and went downstairs for breakfast.

A bowl of millet porridge warmed his whole body, and he started planning his day.

Today, Zhang Peng was going to look for a location for the company.

And as for him...

’What should I do?’

After quitting his job, his life suddenly had no main plot. He was like a luxury cruise ship on the vast ocean, having lost its anchor.

After a moment’s thought, he decided health was wealth. First, a trip to the gym.

He didn’t even go back to his room. He went straight down to the underground garage, got in the Lamborghini, and headed straight for the gym.

As he was approaching the gym, he received a message from Fan Wanjun: ”Are you gone?”

After parking the car, Lin Chu casually replied, ”I have things to do during the day. I’ll look for you next time I book a room.”

He hadn’t paid her last night.

It made him seem even more audacious than the Pork Prince—not even paying the overnight fee.

Fan Wanjun replied almost half a minute later: ”Thank you, boss. I’m heading to my company now. Can you keep this confidential?”

Lin Chu chuckled. ”Of course. I’m just a scumbag, not a piece of trash.”

Fan Wanjun: ”Thank you. But I guess you won’t be requesting me next time.”

This was, of course, just another one of a woman’s tricks.

She was quite smart, and naturally, she had her ways of handling men.

Lin Chu entered the elevator and casually replied, ”It’s no problem for us to go out for some friendly shopping sometime.”

’We both get what we want, right?’

Problems that could be solved with money shouldn’t be allowed to drip and drag on. It’s not like he had prostatitis.

Fan Wanjun: ”Okay. I wish you immense wealth and a cloud of beauties, boss.”

Lin Chu smiled faintly and didn’t reply.

A sensible woman like her deserved to make money.

...

He arrived at the gym.

After a simple warm-up, Lin Chu started his workout with Wang Lei.

There were no other clients at the moment, so the entire gym was filled with the panting of two men.

Lin Chu was a beginner, but his physical condition was decent. He focused on leg exercises to boost testosterone production. With a professional trainer’s guidance, he quickly became familiar with the movements and form.

”Brother Chu, if you really want to train seriously, a stretching coach is essential. The stretching and massage after each session are actually more important than the training itself.”

Wang Lei said with a smile, a bit tentatively.

Lin Chu understood his meaning immediately. ”What, you have someone to recommend?”

He seemed a little embarrassed and nodded. ”Yeah, a buddy of mine graduated from the same sports university as me. He’s competed in bodybuilding competitions and even placed. His stretching technique is extremely professional. But the only worry is, we don’t have many clients here. He’s under a lot of financial pressure and has a mortgage to pay.”

Lin Chu glanced at him and smiled. ”Looking for a raise?”

That was understandable.

Their salary was a base plus commission. The base was 6,000, with a 10% commission on new memberships and 30% on class packages. The commission was actually the bulk of their income. Now that the gym was empty, he was getting anxious.

Six thousand a month really wasn’t enough to get by in Peng City.

”Tell him to come over.”

”Don’t worry, we’ll have clients soon,” Lin Chu said with a smile.

After talking with him, Lin Chu thought for a moment and then posted on his Moments.

—My gym is officially open! Located in the core CBD of Futian District. Friends who want to hang out are welcome to come by.

He made the post and pinned it to the top of his feed.

Lin Chu then forwarded it to his group chats with Liu Junfeng and Li Kai.

It was basically an ad for the groups.

Li Kai hadn’t responded yet.

Liu Junfeng, however, immediately made it a group announcement in three different groups: the main club group, the sports car owners’ group, and the Thief Cao’s Group.

At the same time, he sent a private message to Lin Chu: ”Brother Chu, I’ll get you some people. Don’t worry, at least ten clients. My old face still has that much pull. Fuck, but when I think about it, that’s not even enough for one of your bottles of wine.”

Lin Chu replied with a smile, ”I don’t mind. I have to support my employees, right?”

Liu Junfeng understood immediately. ”Alright, I get it. Just wait.”

...

However, Lin Chu never expected that just half an hour later, the first client to walk through the door would be... Tangtang.

She was dressed in workout gear: yoga pants that left little to the imagination, a tight white tank top, her hair in a ponytail, and a red headband. She had the look of a sporty young girl.

”Hello, ma’am. Welcome.”

Cui Xiaodan greeted her from the front desk.

”Is Brother Chu here? I’m a friend of his,” Tangtang said with a smile.

Cui Xiaodan glanced inside. ”He’s working out right now. Please wait a moment, I’ll go get the boss.”

”No need, I’ll go find him myself.”

Tangtang waved her hand and walked inside, striding over to the equipment area. Seeing Lin Chu working hard on a rowing machine, she crept up and covered his eyes from behind with her hands.

”Guess who?”

Wang Lei watched from the side. He saw it was a very beautiful girl, so he didn’t intervene.

He just reflexively assumed a spotting position to prevent any injuries.

Lin Chu felt the temperature of her hands—fair, delicate, and slightly cool—but for the life of him, he couldn’t guess who it was.

He mentally reviewed his recent history. ’Damn, I’ve really been a new groom every night lately.’

’It’s been non-stop.’

He took a deep breath, putting on a confident facade, and said with a playful grin, ”Scream for me one more time, tell me to go ’faster, faster,’ and then I’ll know your name.”

Tangtang: ...

She glanced at Wang Lei, who was standing nearby, and her face flushed slightly.

Wang Lei wished he were deaf at that moment.

’Why the hell do I have ears?’

”Boss, I didn’t hear a thing. I’m just gonna go to the restroom,” he said, then quickly walked away.

Tangtang let out a breath, released her hands, and moved to his side. She put her hands on her hips and shot Lin Chu a playful glare.

”Seriously? You’ll just say anything, won’t you?”

Lin Chu finally saw who it was and smiled faintly. ”It’s my turf, what do you expect? What are you doing here?”

She replied, ”I’m here to support your business. Hmph, you ignored me last time.”

She was referring to the incident a few days ago when Lin Chu had just gotten back from Ye City. He was at Liu Junfeng’s place, and she had tried to call him into the restroom, but he didn’t go.

”Don’t be so flirty... Your boyfriend fucking added me on WeChat that day...” Lin Chu said, feigning helplessness.

He paused, and before she could respond, he called out with a smile, ”Leizi, come over here! Get this client signed up. Put her down for a three-year membership and a hundred private training sessions!”

Hearing this, Wang Lei, who was a short distance away, immediately came trotting over.

”Hello, ma’am.”

Tangtang pouted and shot Lin Chu another glare, her eyes saying, ’You just wait.’

She turned her head, gave Wang Lei a coolly beautiful look, and walked straight to the front desk.
