Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 97: Chapter 96: Turns Out I’m a ’Conservative’?

He walked into an indoor golf court to find a dozen or so beautiful women in golf attire. With golf bags on their backs and clubs in hand, they stood with radiant smiles, like soldiers awaiting inspection as they watched the esteemed member being led in by a membership consultant.

Lin Chu’s gaze swept across the room, and he couldn’t help but swallow. Stunning.

High class. This was truly high class.

Honestly, this was far more high-class than any nightclub. These women were at least on the level of amateur models. Not a single one was short; they all had legs for days, with practically no one under 170cm.

’These rich guys really know how to live, don’t they?’

Suddenly, Lin Chu felt that, well, perhaps he had been acting a bit like some newly-rich rube before.

A golf club of this caliber was among the best in all of Peng City. The power of the owner behind it went without saying.

Having operated for so many years and served countless top-tier clients, their various business models were clearly well-established.

”Mr. Lin, this way, please. You can interview them one by one until you find one you’re satisfied with.”

The membership consultant continued to lead the way, guiding Lin Chu into a glass room off to the side. After closing the door, she gave a slight bow and exited.

Lin Chu: ...

’First, they let you take a look to whet your appetite.’

’Then you get to have a private chat, huh?’

Whether it was their grasp of client psychology or their maintenance of the client’s dignity, the service process was polished to perfection.

Lin Chu let out a soft sigh and began this rather unique interview.

Soon, the first caddy walked in.

Her face had probably had some work done, but her figure was excellent—a willowy frame with generous curves. She wore a standard smile and gave a slight bow.

”Hello, sir. My name is Zhao Rong, caddy number 26. I’m 27 years old, 174cm tall, and weigh 52kg. I’m from Jin Province. I have a bachelor’s degree, I’m a Taurus, and my personality is quite lively and cheerful. My average score is 100-108.”

She spoke softly, her hands clasped in front of her.

Lin Chu waved his hand. ”Next.”

’Holy shit, why am I so smooth with this gesture?’

’I saw a few who were even prettier when I glanced at the group earlier. No need to rush.’

”Of course, sir.”

She bowed again and left with a smile.

Lin Chu performed a tactical lean-back, resting against the leather sofa. It felt extravagant, truly extravagant. But he figured it wouldn’t be long before he got used to this level of luxury.

’An aesthetic upgrade.’

’A lifestyle upgrade.’

’A class upgrade.’

’I’m a man worth nearly a hundred million. There’s nothing wrong with me starting to live like this, is there?’

Another four or five came in one after another, all from different parts of the country. The format was the same as the first: they stated their real name, height, weight, hometown, education, zodiac sign, basic personality, and golf skill level.

To be honest, Lin Chu didn’t even really understand the scoring standards at this point.

But most of them were in the 96-99 or 100-108 range. Lin Chu figured that was probably pretty good for an amateur.

They were caddies, after all, not coaches.

After a full half-hour of selections, Lin Chu finally made his choice.

Caddy number 98, named Jin Jiaying. She was 24 years old, 178cm tall, and from the Sichuan and Chongqing area. In her self-introduction, she described her personality as very gentle, and she spoke in a soft, delicate voice.

’As for her golf skills... Heh, who cares about that?’

This inexplicable sense of contrast, however, was a plus in Lin Chu’s eyes.

Her height and age were also bonus points.

Once he’d made his choice, they exchanged phone numbers and WeChat.

Lin Chu then went to the main desk, added a membership manager on WeChat, and had them add him to the exclusive platinum members’ group chat. With that done, Lin Chu was ready to leave.

He had already arranged to have dinner with Lu Ming and Dongzi to give them their membership cards.

”Do caddies accompany clients to business dinners?”

Lin Chu sent Jin Jiaying a message before he left.

’It seemed that in a place like this, you had to act a bit more refined. It was less about respecting the individual and more about respecting the establishment they represented.’

Lin Chu complained silently to himself.

Jin Jiaying replied quickly: ”Yes, we can, Mr. Lin. It would be my honor. I hope we can become friends.”

Lin Chu casually replied, ”Alright, then come on out. I’m in the parking lot.”

’Damn.’

’So it’s really okay.’

’This is what you call high-class service.’

Moreover, Lin Chu understood the implication. ”I hope we can become friends” meant she would come without any fee.

’This...’

’The most expensive things in life are free.’

But, on second thought, he had paid a 2.6 million membership fee. He was one of the club’s most valuable clients. For women like her, a chance to get to know a big shot was probably something they’d be desperate for.

’A big shot just has to toss them a small tip, and they’ll get whatever they want.’

Sitting in his car, he lit a cigarette. In that moment, Lin Chu even felt he’d been something of a ”conservative” until now.

’Before, my mindset had really been too small.’

’Time to think bigger!’

...

He hadn’t even finished his cigarette when he saw Jin Jiaying hurrying toward him, almost at a light jog. The bouncing motion was quite easy on the eyes.

Lin Chu lowered his window and waved to her. ”Over here.”

She pulled open the passenger door and slid in with a smile. ”Mr. Lin, you have excellent taste. This car is a beacon of technology. I test-drove it once and loved it.”

Lin Chu nodded nonchalantly. ”Just a car to get around in.”

He started the car and drove out of the parking lot.

He then noticed that his car had been registered for free parking; he didn’t need to pay the fee.

’This club’s service is really on point. They’ve really got their act together.’

”Mr. Lin, thank you for giving me this opportunity. What kind of dinner is it today? Do I need to prepare in any way?”

Lin Chu waved his hand. ”No need to prepare. What you’re wearing is fine. I’m just giving a couple of buddies their membership cards, understand?”

Understanding dawned on her face, and she said with a bright smile, ”Of course. In that case, this outfit is perfectly suitable. I’ll cooperate with you completely.”

’Tsk.’

’This EQ.’

’She’s pretty sharp.’

Lin Chu figured the club must have given them special training.

”How long have you been working here?”

As the car entered the main road, Lin Chu chatted with her casually.

”A little over half a year. I originally majored in physical education, specializing in sports rehabilitation. Getting into this industry was quite a coincidence, thanks to an introduction from an older friend. After being hired, we trained for six months on golf skills, all sorts of etiquette, and service procedures. I’ve only just started working officially. You’re my first client.”

”As you know, the economy hasn’t been great this year, so there aren’t many new members.”

She explained in detail.

Lin Chu nodded noncommittally, guessing this was also part of their training.

’Their script is perfectly polished.’

”Can you drink?”

Lin Chu asked.

She gently bit her lip. ”Not very well. About half a bottle of red wine is my limit. I’m... ah, still a bit lacking in that department. I’m sorry.”

She suddenly seemed a little nervous.

’Looks like she really is new to the job,’ Lin Chu thought, not saying much.

She glanced at Lin Chu’s expression and softly added, ”But if I have to drink, I can. It just means throwing up a few more times.”

Lin Chu: ...Damn.

’Fuck, now *this* is the kind of assistant I need, and the answer I was looking for.’

’The feeling is completely different.’

’I’ll have to bring Gu Jiayan here to play golf sometime. Let her learn a thing or two about how to serve the boss.’

...
