Urban Martial Saint

After hurriedly fleeing the Wanyan family’s estate, the Purple Robe Lama didn’t dare linger in Shenchuan City. He quickly left the city under the cover of night, stopping only when he reached a nearby small town, where the pursuers were long gone.

Actually, with the speed of the Purple Robe Lama, he had already shaken off the Wanyan family’s people while still in Shenchuan City. The reason he continued running out of the city was for safety’s sake, as the whole situation had become too big.

While resting briefly in the small town, the Purple Robe Lama discovered a significant problem: he couldn’t remember anyone’s phone number.

In reality, back in his time with Brahmanism, the Purple Robe Lama rarely used a mobile phone. Such modern tools weren’t very popular over there. Only after he arrived in Huaxia did he buy a phone for the convenience of communication. However, he wasn’t adept with using phones and rarely memorized contacts. So, after losing his phone, he found himself unable to get in touch with others.

Previously, he had been acting together with the Sha Men group, but their numbers were saved in his phone. Now, without the phone, he obviously couldn’t contact them directly. This was quite a predicament as he had no way to inform them about this situation!

Without being able to reach the Sha Men group by phone, the Purple Robe Lama couldn’t inform them about Wanyan Hongsheng’s plan. Yet, he couldn’t just watch them walk into danger, given that so many people were involved this time. What was he to do?

The Purple Robe Lama actually had another idea, which was to go directly to Panlong Valley and inform them of Wanyan Hongsheng’s plan. However, the crucial issue was that he really didn’t want to go to Panlong Valley. Because if he did, he would encounter the Bloody Monk, meaning he would likely die there. This was a painful decision to make!

Previously deciding not to go temporarily to Panlong Valley was to avoid the Bloody Monk. But now, he had no choice but to go; otherwise, he’d be leaving those people to die there. Should he risk his life, or ignore the situation?

This thought tangled in his mind for a long while, but ultimately the Purple Robe Lama gritted his teeth, got up, and headed towards Panlong Valley. After all, so many people were involved this time. Not only Sha Men got the information, but Wanyan Hongsheng also spread the news, reaching more and more people. If all these people went there without being informed, they’d likely all perish at Panlong Valley. Of course, the Purple Robe Lama couldn’t allow that to happen.

Ideally, he could meet the Sha Men group midway, inform them of the news, and thus avoid having to go to Panlong Valley. But encountering them on the way might not be so easy!

He found a vehicle and rushed towards Panlong Valley overnight. At the same time, countless others were doing the same. Since Wanyan Hongsheng exposed the news about Panlong Valley, countless people have been keeping an eye on it now. As Wanyan Hongsheng had anticipated, he might catch all those opposing the Wanyan family at once in this sweep!

The Purple Robe Lama, hurrying to reach Panlong Valley quickly, traveled day and night, hiring two drivers for a non-stop journey. Along the way, he kept watch for vehicles, hoping to find the Sha Men group. But to his disappointment, he didn’t encounter anyone from Sha Men, as if they weren’t traveling the same path.

This situation left the Purple Robe Lama in dismay. Unable to find the Sha Men group, he had to head to Panlong Valley himself and simply hope he’d be lucky, reaching there before the Bloody Monk and informing everyone, then leaving quickly to avoid confrontation.

When the vehicle reached the outskirts of Panlong Valley, they stopped. The Purple Robe Lama, having been here before, knew the terrain extremely well. He alighted from the car and headed straight towards Panlong Valley. His Qinggong was excellent, making the rugged mountain path feel like flat ground for him, presenting no issues at all.

After about half an hour along the mountain path, he arrived at Panlong Valley’s entrance. From a distance, he saw many guards there, including many Peak Masters allied with the Wanyan family. It was clear that Wanyan Hongsheng made serious arrangements, placing so many guards there. With this kind of setup, even if attacked, rescuing those inside Panlong Valley quickly might be impossible.

Observing from the shadows, the Purple Robe Lama noticed no signs of battle outside Panlong Valley. This meant no one had come to rescue anyone from there yet; he was the first to arrive.

Actually, Ye Qing had arrived earlier than the Purple Robe Lama. But Ye Qing had jumped into the valley from atop the cliff, not entering through the entrance, hence no battle marks outside. The Purple Robe Lama was the second to arrive, and no one else had come, so naturally, there were no signs of fighting.

Seeing nobody coming settled the Purple Robe Lama’s mind a bit. Instead of lingering at the entrance, he retreated along his original path to a large protruding boulder midway up. From this boulder, he could see all paths leading up the mountain. This way, anyone coming up would be visible to him.

As Sha Men would be arriving from Shenchuan City, they’d likely come up from here. If so, the Purple Robe Lama could witness them from this boulder. Then he could intercept them, share Wanyan Hongsheng’s plans, and avoid entering the mountain, thus not confronting the Bloody Monk.

With this thoughtful calculation, the Purple Robe Lama hid behind the boulder, quietly observing the mountain path. Yet, he’d seemingly arrived too early, as after three hours of waiting, not a soul appeared, making him anxious. Could it be that Sha Men weren’t taking this path but another one?

While considering whether to go back to Panlong Valley’s entrance, a few cars drove up from below the hill. A few people got out, led by none other than Wanyan Hongsheng, accompanied by Wanyan family members!

It was unexpected that after waiting so long, he encountered the Wanyan family first instead of Sha Men. What was going on? Wasn’t Sha Men supposed to have arrived earlier? Why weren’t they faster than the Wanyan family? Did something happen to them on the way?

Seeing the Wanyan family, the Purple Robe Lama didn’t dare be careless. He stayed hidden behind the boulder, observing the Wanyan entourage stealthily.

After getting out of the car, Wanyan Hongsheng immediately ordered the others to unload three coffins from the vehicle. These coffins seemed quite heavy. The men weren’t weak, yet struggled with the weight, leaving one to wonder what was going on.

The Purple Robe Lama knew these coffins likely contained Divine Clan corpses. But why were there three coffins? Was Wanyan Hongsheng bringing three Divine Clan corpses? Wasn’t one enough? Why bring three?

Guided by Wanyan Hongsheng, the Wanyan members, carrying the three coffins, didn’t notice the Purple Robe Lama hidden behind the boulder as they headed towards Panlong Valley.

Filled with curiosity while hiding, the Purple Robe Lama was momentarily unsure of his next move. The Wanyan members had entered, and the Divine Clan corpses were delivered. If anyone ascended now, they’d fall into Wanyan’s trap, likely killed by these corpses. What should be done? How could he prevent others from going to Panlong Valley to their doom? Where were the Sha Men people? When would the Bloody Monk reach Medicine King Mountain?

As these thoughts caused panic in his heart, suddenly, an angry roar echoed from the mountain. The sound came from Panlong Valley, indicating something was happening there!

What could be happening at Panlong Valley now? Surely someone was trying to rescue the captives, clashing with the Wanyan members!

But who was it?

Sha Men hadn’t come this way; the Bloody Monk hadn’t appeared; who was already there at Panlong Valley?

The Purple Robe Lama’s biggest worry was the Bloody Monk. If the Bloody Monk arrived first, this could escalate the problems. However, with a fight breaking out, he had to rush over, convey the message, otherwise, wouldn’t someone be in danger?

Taking a deep breath to quell his panic, the Purple Robe Lama dashed out from behind the boulder, using Qinggong to rush towards Panlong Valley.

Moving with speed, the Purple Robe Lama swiftly crossed the mountain ridge, reaching Panlong Valley’s exterior. From a distance, he saw a melee at the entrance, led by Helian Tiehua!
