Urban Martial Saint

All eyes of the Shen Family were on Shen Tianjun, as the decision was entirely in his hands. If Shen Tianjun decided not to hand over these three weapons, they absolutely wouldn’t. However, if they did that, Shen Qingyi might still be in danger.

After a moment of silence, Shen Tianjun slowly nodded and gestured, ”Give him the items!”

”Father!” Shen Er was worried, urgently saying, ”Qingyi is still in his hands. What if he takes the items and doesn’t return her, what then?”

”The Bloody Monk, though having killed countless people, has always valued his promises. Since he pledged to return Qingyi to us intact, there will definitely be no mistake!” Shen Tianjun said calmly as he looked at the Bloody Monk, ”Hand over the items to him!”

”Hahaha...” The Bloody Monk tilted his head back and laughed, ”Unexpectedly, aside from my fellow apprentices, you, Southern Fist King, know me best.”

Shen Da glanced at Shen Tianjun, then at the Bloody Monk, and finally brought the three weapons over to the people of Sha Men.

The people of Sha Men took the three weapons, turned directly, and got into the car. The Bloody Monk nodded in satisfaction and laughed, ”Shen, you truly are a straightforward person. In that case, we’ll take our leave. By noon tomorrow, Miss Shen will definitely return to Shen Family Manor safe and sound.”

After the Bloody Monk finished speaking, he took Shen Qingyi and directly got in the car, driving out of the Shen Family’s domain. Shen Qianyue and Shen Baichuan remained lying on the ground, but the Bloody Monk didn’t take them away.

Watching the Bloody Monk drive away, Shen Da hurriedly turned around to call for the car, but was stopped by Shen Tianjun’s outstretched hand.

”No need to worry, Qingyi will be safer with him,” Shen Tianjun said, ”The Bloody Monk has always kept to his promises, and his word is his bond.”

Hearing Shen Tianjun say this, the Shen Family members looked at each other but did not pursue.

”Father, what about these two?” Shen Da looked at Shen Qianyue and Shen Baichuan on the ground and asked quietly.

Shen Tianjun gave Shen Qianyue a deep look, sighed, and said, ”Alas, first take them to the dungeon and lock them up. We will deal with it after this matter is concluded.”

”Yes!” Shen Da nodded, swiftly bringing a few men over to pick up Shen Qianyue and Shen Baichuan and lead them inside Shen Family Manor.

Shen Qianyue and Shen Baichuan both looked ashen-faced, fully aware that they were thoroughly finished this time. Even if the family didn’t kill them, they would at least disable their martial arts.

At this moment, Prince Nalan approached Shen Tianjun, quietly suggesting, ”Shen, do you need us to follow and have a look? The Bloody Monk is very cunning, and there’s no guarantee he won’t resort to other means.”

”Thank you, Nalan, but that won’t be necessary,” Shen Tianjun shook his head, ”Right now, the Bloody Monk is using Qingyi as his amulet; he will only release her when he feels safe. If we pursue too closely, he might not let Qingyi go.”

”I’m just worried that if the Bloody Monk doesn’t keep his word, and something happens to Miss Shen, it wouldn’t be good,” Prince Nalan said softly.

Shen Tianjun glanced at Prince Nalan and replied, ”Rest assured, Nalan, it will not delay the important matter of the engagement!”

Prince Nalan looked slightly embarrassed, as his main concern was indeed the engagement. He had come to secure the marriage for Nalan Tianyu to find a strong ally for the Nalan Family. Thus, he hoped for no mishaps in this alliance.

At the hilltop, the One-Eyed Man watched as everyone outside Shen Family Manor returned inside. Only then did he cautiously stand up. Although he was far away, he dared not make a sound, knowing that if those at the manor heard him, he’d be in trouble.

”Blood-Robed Baldy, you sure are bold. You now have six of the seven keys; it seems you are truly determined to seize this opportunity,” the One-Eyed Man muttered while watching the Bloody Monk’s car drive along the mountain road, gripping Ye Qing as he descended from the other side of the mountain.

The One-Eyed Man stared at the Bloody Monk’s carriage for a while, then a cold smile suddenly appeared at the corner of his mouth. He said, ”This is just perfect; you can make my plan even more complete.”

After speaking, the One-Eyed Man suddenly turned and led Ye Qing directly towards the other side of the mountain. The range of this mountain was not small, and it was densely forested, making it not easy to traverse. However, the One-Eyed Man moved through the mountain agilely like a Cheetah, without the slightest hindrance from the jagged rocks and dense forest around. After running for about five or six miles, he arrived at a desolate mountain wall on the back side of the mountain.

There was a hidden cave by the mountain wall, and if not observed carefully, one would certainly miss it. The One-Eyed Man had inadvertently discovered this cave while passing by in the morning, and now it was quite convenient to hide someone inside.

The One-Eyed Man placed Ye Qing inside the cave and casually pressed several major acupoints on Ye Qing’s body. Although it wasn’t enough to completely restrict Ye Qing’s movements, it was sufficient to make him limp, his inner strength unable to flow at all. Still feeling uneasy, the One-Eyed Man found a rope to secure Ye Qing tightly, now feeling somewhat reassured.

”Kid, you’d better wait here in this cave. I’ll go and fetch your beauty to fulfill your wishes.” The One-Eyed Man smirked coldly and said, ”You don’t have to worry, there are no wild beasts on this mountain; you couldn’t be safer here.”

With that, the One-Eyed Man turned and left the cave. For safety, he also found some stones to block the entrance of the cave. This way, even if someone passed by here, they wouldn’t discover there was a cave.

Inside the cave, Ye Qing was left alone, unable to shout or move. It seemed escape was impossible. After all, the mountains behind the Shen Family Manor were quite desolate, rarely visited by anyone, let alone someone finding such a hidden cave.

After leaving the cave, the One-Eyed Man immediately ran down the mountain, following the Sha Men carriage from afar, all the way into the city.

The people of Sha Men certainly wouldn’t have imagined that a One-Eyed Man was trailing them. They were extremely excited to have obtained these three mystical weapons. Ghost King Li Ruoyuan was holding one of the Fire Blade Swords and said, ”Sect Leader, why does this sword look so strange? It looks like it’s about to catch fire, and it feels hot to the touch; what’s going on?”

The Bloody Monk glanced at the Fire Blade Sword and said, ”This sword is called the Fire Blade Sword and is opposed to the Cold Moon Blade among the Seven Keys. Fire and ice are incompatible, and their powers are about the same. If this Fire Blade Sword acknowledges you, it can unleash its greatest power, with flames accompanying its strike, similar to the frost effect of the Cold Moon Blade.”

”That powerful?” Li Ruoyuan’s eyes lit up instantly. He had previously witnessed the power of the Cold Moon Blade and was very shocked by its strength. Now learning the Fire Blade Sword was equally powerful left him astonished.

”The Seven Keys left by Guiguzi are nothing simple!” The Bloody Monk casually picked up the Kunlun Axe and said, ”This Kunlun Axe is said to be forged from a piece of Mysterious Iron taken by the Bloody Monk from the Kunlun Mountains, capable of cutting through anything. Ordinary famed instruments are like wood compared to this Kunlun Axe. I reckon, apart from the world’s number one famed instrument, the Xuanyuan Sword, and the Minghong Knife made of the same material as the Xuanyuan Sword, no other weapon can match the sharpness of this Kunlun Axe!”

”Ah?” Everyone simultaneously looked at the Kunlun Axe. To be honest, axes were rarely used as weapons nowadays. When such an axe was brought out, no one paid much attention. Who would have thought this Kunlun Axe held such power?

”What about the Overlord Spear?” Black Asura looked excitedly at the Kunlun Axe and asked, ”Compared to this Kunlun Axe, which is more formidable?”

”The Seven Keys cannot be compared with each other.” The Bloody Monk shook his head and said, ”Besides, the Overlord Spear focuses on robustness while the Kunlun Axe emphasizes sharpness; they can’t be compared in that sense. Also, before Guiguzi left these Seven Keys, he placed seals on the seven weapons so they couldn’t overcome each other.”

”Really?” Black Asura also widened his eyes, reaching out to touch the Kunlun Axe and said, ”Sect Leader, I’ve heard of the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife too, but it seems like these two weapons haven’t appeared for a long time. It’s said that the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife were supreme instruments created when Emperor conquered the land. But isn’t Emperor a mythical figure? Are his weapons actually real?”

”Who says Emperor is a mythical figure!” The Bloody Monk widened his eyes, looking at Black Asura and said, ”You haven’t read enough books. Emperor was indeed a real person, but later people mythologized him. The Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife truly exist, but these two items haven’t appeared for thousands of years. So, many doubt whether these two weapons are just famed instruments imagined by people. However, my senior brother once said that the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife do indeed exist!”

Everyone looked at each other; Li Ruoyuan whispered, ”Sect Leader, can you trust what your senior brother said?”

”That old guy may not have great character, but he knows a lot, and what he says can definitely be trusted.” The Bloody Monk said, ”If he says the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife exist, then they surely exist.”

Nobody expected the Bloody Monk to have such faith in his senior brother. This convinced everyone that the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife indeed exist.

”Since these two items do exist, why did they suddenly disappear?” Black Asura said, ”These two items are weapons every martial artist in the world dreams of having. Yet, for so many years, there has never been a conflict in any dynasty over the search for these two weapons.”
