Urban Martial Saint

”If you really want to fight, the Buddha Master is always ready to accompany you. However, looking at you now, it seems you have no mood to fight tonight!” the Bloody Monk sneered, ”You can leave, but shouldn’t you leave behind the things that don’t belong to you?”

”Things that don’t belong to us?” Ao Wuchang frowned slightly and said in a deep voice, ”What are you trying to imply?”

”The Seven-Star Ancient Sword and the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade both have rightful owners,” the Bloody Monk sneered, ”Did you take them without the consent of their rightful owner?”

Only then did Ao Wuchang realize they had packed up the Seven-Star Ancient Sword and the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade and were about to take them away. Hearing this, he pondered slightly and said, ”Leave the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade!”

The man behind immediately placed the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade on the ground. To be honest, holding the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade was not a comfortable thing for him. The murderous aura of the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade was too heavy; even after wrapping it in two layers of clothing, he could still feel its oppressive aura. Now that he threw it away, he breathed a long sigh of relief, finally not having to carry this item anymore.

”This is not enough!” the Bloody Monk shook his head and said, ”What about the Seven-Star Ancient Sword?”

Ao Wuchang immediately shouted angrily, ”The Seven-Star Ancient Sword has always been a possession of our Hong Alliance. Our Hong Alliance is the rightful owner of the Seven-Star Ancient Sword. How can it not be one of our possessions?”

”The famed instrument of the world belongs to those with affinity,” the Bloody Monk said, ”The Seven-Star Ancient Sword recognizes Ye Qing, and only Ye Qing can use it, so it’s naturally Ye Qing’s. How can it be the Hong Alliance’s? Moreover, the Huangfu Household has long since separated from the Hong Alliance. Can the possessions of the Huangfu Household be said to belong to the Hong Alliance? No matter how you look at it, the Seven-Star Ancient Sword is not a possession of the Hong Alliance, so what right do you have to take it?”

”Bloody Monk, this is nothing but sophistry!” Ao Wuchang shouted angrily, ”The Huangfu Household is one of the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance, and each rudder holds a key among the seven keys, which are possessions of the Hong Alliance. Once separated from the Hong Alliance, the seven keys must be returned. When the Huangfu Household left the Hong Alliance, this Seven-Star Ancient Sword was left outside, so it was not returned. Later, the Seven-Star Ancient Sword was sent to the Huangfu Household by Northern Fist King Li Changqing, but that does not mean it became the property of the Huangfu Household. The Huangfu Household’s failure to return the Seven-Star Ancient Sword to our Hong Alliance is already a grave taboo, and now someone wants to take away the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, are they trying to become an enemy of our Hong Alliance?”

Ao Wuchang brought up the Hong Alliance’s name, attempting to pressure the Bloody Monk with it. However, given the Bloody Monk’s fearless nature, how could he fear the Hong Alliance?

”I can’t be bothered to talk so much nonsense with you. Anyway, the item has accepted Ye Qing, so it is Ye Qing’s,” said the Bloody Monk. ”Either you leave the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, or we have a fight. Whoever wins gets their way, how about that?”

Seeing the Bloody Monk’s constant provocations, Ao Wuchang finally couldn’t bear it anymore and shouted angrily, ”Bloody Monk, do you really think I’m afraid of you?”

”If you’re not afraid, then let’s fight!” the Bloody Monk stepped back and said, ”Come, come, come, this place is so spacious, perfect for a duel.”

Ao Wuchang was about to step forward, but Chen San quickly came over and stopped him, whispering, ”Godfather, the big picture is important. We must not expend too much energy here. The people of Twelve Green Halls might attack at any moment. At this time, it would be better to save our strength to deal with the people from Twelve Green Halls. Even if we hand over the Seven-Star Ancient Sword to the Bloody Monk, he can’t open Heaven, Earth, and Man Three Gates with it. It would be better to leave it for now; there’s no need to deplete our vital energy here.”

After pondering for a moment, Ao Wuchang finally nodded slowly and said in a deep voice, ”Alright, give the Seven-Star Ancient Sword back to him!”

After setting down the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, Ao Wuchang looked at the Bloody Monk again and said in a deep voice, ”The enmity between the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance and the Twelve Green Halls concerns no outsiders. I hope Sha Men weighs this carefully and does not get involved!”

”Don’t worry, the Buddha Master has no fondness for your Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance and even less for the Twelve Green Halls. After being gone for these fifteen years, the people of Twelve Green Halls dare to attack Sha Men underhandedly. The Buddha Master is just about to settle scores with them!” The Bloody Monk glanced at White-haired Ding San over there and sneered, ”The matters in Western Province only counted as paying back some interest. When they enter the Mainland, it’ll be the time for me to settle accounts completely!”

Upon hearing this, Ao Wuchang’s expression slightly eased. The Bloody Monk’s strength is extraordinarily formidable; earlier, he had already tested it and knew very well that the Bloody Monk could definitely match Helian Tiehua. Such a formidable figure, no matter which side he stands on, will greatly enhance the chance of victory for that side. Now, hearing the Bloody Monk’s words, it was clear that he held more hostility towards the Twelve Green Halls. For the Hong Alliance, this is like gaining a strong external ally, isn’t it?

Ao Wuchang didn’t say anything else and left with his men straight away. His visit tonight ended up being a big embarrassment. He originally planned to take the Seven-Star Ancient Sword and teach Ye Qing and his group a lesson. However, he didn’t get the item, and instead, he was humiliated by the Bloody Monk. But, he had no choice; the Bloody Monk’s strength was too formidable, and he simply wasn’t a match for him. If he continued to entangle, it wouldn’t just be a matter of embarrassment.

Seeing Ao Wuchang and his men leave, the Sha Men crowd instantly burst into cheers. Earlier, even combined, they weren’t a match for Ao Wuchang alone, which brought them despair. No one expected that at such a critical moment, their long-awaited Sect Leader, the Bloody Monk, would return, chase away Ao Wuchang, and save them all.

Originally, everyone in Sha Men deeply respected the Bloody Monk, and after such an event, they were even more thrilled, tightly following behind him, each with an excited expression on their face.

Ye Qing initially had no good feelings towards the Bloody Monk, but since the Bloody Monk saved his life, he still went over, bowed slightly to the Bloody Monk, and said, ”Junior Ye Qing, greets Sect Leader!”

”No need to be so formal; this isn’t our first meeting,” the Bloody Monk said with interest, looking at Ye Qing, ”Northern Fist King Li Changqing’s chosen person indeed deserves to be called unmatched in life grid. Yet, regretfully, what’s the use of having a destiny when in this world, strength is what matters. Northern Fist King possesses formidable prowess, but you haven’t even mastered ten percent of that. With such capability, you intend to meddle in the big battle between Hong Alliance and Qing Tang? Seems like you’re really tempting fate! And with your pitiful skill, you dare aim for the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates?”

Ye Qing furrowed his brows and said, ”I have no intention of involving myself in this battle, but having come this far, I have no choice but to step in. As for the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, it holds no appeal for me; I’ve never had the intention to enter, nor do I have any schemes whatsoever.”

”Oh, really?” the Bloody Monk laughed coldly, ”By your words, you have no designs on the seven keys of the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates?”

”I have never considered taking those things!” Ye Qing replied.

”That makes things easier!” The Bloody Monk immediately smiled, casually picking up the Seven-Star Ancient Sword nearby, ”Since that’s the case, this Seven-Star Ancient Sword now belongs to me!”

Ye Qing froze for a moment, he didn’t expect the Bloody Monk to act so shamelessly.

”This Seven-Star Ancient Sword is different!” Ye Qing said anxiously, ”It’s the property of the Huangfu Household, given to me by Miss Huangfu. It holds extraordinary significance for me; it absolutely cannot be given to anyone else!”

”What kind of person are you, saying you have no designs on the seven keys one moment, then insisting on keeping the Seven-Star Ancient Sword the next; how convenient for you!” The Bloody Monk said disdainfully, ”This Seven-Star Ancient Sword is one of the seven keys; without it, the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates can’t be opened. Since you claim to have no designs on the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, then why hold onto it? Not handing over the Seven-Star Ancient Sword means the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates remains sealed; aren’t you obstructing the Buddha Master? Besides, giving me this Seven-Star Ancient Sword is beneficial for you. There’s an old saying: if a common man possesses a valuable item, it becomes their curse; the Seven-Star Ancient Sword is a key to the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates. Holding onto it, do you think the members of Hong Alliance and Qing Tang will let you go? Give it to me, and you’ll retain your life; what a deal!”

”If I feared the people from Hong Alliance and Qing Tang, I would have handed over these things long ago, why wait until today!” Ye Qing said sternly, ”Sect Leader is a senior; I presume you wouldn’t bully the young and steal my Seven-Star Ancient Sword, right!”

”Who said I wouldn’t?” the Bloody Monk said, ”Anyway, I’m finished talking, the Seven-Star Ancient Sword is now mine. Also, this manor of yours, starting today, belongs to me as well. If you’re dissatisfied, feel free to come find me anytime you can defeat me; then you can take back these things anytime!”

The Bloody Monk waved his hand and said, ”Alright, I’ve finished my words; you can leave now. Inform your subordinates that this manor is now Sha Men’s territory. Anyone daring to approach will face the consequences of my merciless action!”

Having said this, the Bloody Monk turned directly and started walking towards the pavilion. Seeing this, Ghost-faced Judge Cui Yu immediately whispered, ”Sect Leader, before you returned, Ye brothers indeed saved our lives. Without Ye brothers, Sha Men might not have existed by now. Regarding the Seven-Star Ancient Sword...”

”Of course, I’m aware!” The Bloody Monk turned his head to glance at Ye Qing, ”Were it not for this matter, I would have killed him the last time in Tianhui City. Ye, I advise you to stay away from that old scoundrel Shijia, otherwise, you might not even know when you’re sold out by him someday!”

Unexpectedly, the Bloody Monk’s evaluation of Shijia was so blunt; Ye Qing actually understood well: Shijia, like Old Wang Ba, was just an old rascal. Ye Qing still remembered the incident in the Capital; that old guy certainly had a knack for scheming!
