Urban Martial Saint

”I’m going out to find Ziyu, but that’s not the main reason I’m leaving Shenchuan City!” Ye Qing sighed deeply, leaned on the table to sit up straight, and said, ”Li, at this point, don’t you understand? If I continue to stay in Shenchuan City, we’re all likely to die here!”

”What do you mean?” Li Lianshan frowned and said, ”Why would we all die here? This is our territory, who dares to mess with us?”

”It is our territory, but do we have the power to hold onto it?” Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”We don’t need to talk about the power of Sha Men, we simply can’t compete with them. And then there’s Ao Wuchang from Shuzhong Pao, their strength is far above ours. If Sha Men wasn’t watching them, they would’ve wiped us out long ago. Not to mention, in the future, there will be General Helian Tiehua from the Meng District, and that Northern Desert Iron Cavalry Prince Wan Yan, Northern Martial Zen from the North, the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance, and the Twelve Green Halls. These forces, any one of them could easily deal with us.”

Li Lianshan hadn’t heard of all these before, he waved his hand and said, ”Even if there are these people, so what? At worst, we’ll hide in the suburbs, not go back to the city center, is that not enough?”

”This isn’t something we can hide from if we want to!” Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”I’m too deeply involved in this, I can’t just walk away now. If I continue to stay in Shenchuan City, it will only bring trouble to you. By then, you will just suffer along with me. But if I’m not in Shenchuan City, Li, you can hide in the suburbs, then you’re just local businessmen. No matter how fierce those people fight, they won’t target ordinary people, so you can avoid disaster.”

Li Lianshan frowned and said, ”Yezi, are you worried about implicating us? Cut the crap, I’m not afraid of dying. We’re brothers, that’s a fact. Oh, so when more powerful enemies come, we’re no longer brothers? What kind of bullshit is that? I acknowledge you as a brother, even if it means death, you’re still my brother!”

Li Lianshan’s words warmed Ye Qing’s heart. He patted Li Lianshan on the shoulder and smiled, ”Li, things aren’t that bad yet, it’s not life and death. I’m doing this as a strategy to advance by retreating. By leaving Shenchuan City, you can get out of this matter, so you can live peacefully here and take care of the orphanage for me. As for me, staying in Shenchuan City would really be unsafe.”

”Why do you say that?” Li Lianshan asked curiously.

”Li, you don’t understand.” Ye Qing sighed and said, ”I’ve handled the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, Overlord Spear, and Cold Moon Blade, which are things these people must vie for. And now, I still have a very critical item on me, I’m sure many people want to come and fight for it. If I stay in Shenchuan City and really powerful people come, I won’t even be able to escape. So, I can’t stay in Shenchuan City all the time, sooner or later experts will come looking for me. During this time, I’m planning to go near Xihang Shen Family Manor, even if someone wants to find me, they have to weigh the strength of Shen Family Manor, so even I’ll be a bit safer. As long as I can endure this period and return after the chaos settles, it’ll be the same. The key is that you preserve your strength here, and when I come back, we’ll have the capital to think about development again!”

After hearing Ye Qing’s words, Li Lianshan suddenly beamed, punched Ye Qing, and laughed, ”Damn it, why didn’t you say so earlier, you almost scared the piss out of me, I thought you were ready to wash your hands of the matter. Fine, we’ll do as you say, you first leave Shenchuan City for a while, preferably hide somewhere near Shen Family Manor. You can rest assured about this side, we’ll just pretend for a while, not get involved in anything. I don’t believe those martial artists would target people like us who don’t have martial arts!”

Talking it through with Li Lianshan, Ye Qing also breathed a sigh of relief. Li Lianshan had a rather stubborn temper, if you couldn’t persuade him well, Ye Qing really couldn’t leave Shenchuan City this time.

Next, Ye Qing entrusted Li Lianshan with some matters in Shenchuan City. Actually, many businesses of Ye Qing and Li Lianshan were connected, usually managed by Lin Mengjie, so Ye Qing didn’t need to worry about these aspects. The most important thing was Ye Qing’s brothers there, of course, Ye Qing wouldn’t take them away. After all, the matters ahead involved martial artists, and Ye Qing didn’t want them to get involved.

Ye Qing gathered loyal subordinates like Black Bear Mad Dog Da Fei and Chen Jun Hou San, handed a photo of his brother Ye Jun to Black Bear, and let them go to the Western Province to find Ye Jun. Wang Tian’an in the Western Province had been completely defeated, and Wang Tian’an had fled to the Eastern Province, so the Western Province was still quite safe. Black Bear and the others went secretly to find Ye Jun, and no one would know, nor would anyone trouble them.

The remaining people, Ye Qing also entrusted them all to Li Lianshan to take care of. Actually, there wasn’t much to do, everyone had withdrawn from the city center, and they were idle in the suburbs every day, so there wasn’t much care needed. As long as these people didn’t cause any trouble, it’d be fine.

After explaining all these things clearly, Ye Qing packed up his things, and along with Liu Mubai, took Li Bing’en and left Shenchuan City.

Lin Tianyou hadn’t returned from abroad yet, and Li Bing’en’s checkup couldn’t start. Ye Qing left some films and such that Li Bing’en had taken at the hospital, to be looked at when Lin Tianyou returned. However, as Ye Qing left Shenchuan City, Li Bing’en couldn’t stay here either, since he was also a martial artist.

Ye Qing initially didn’t know where to place Li Bing’en. After thinking it over, he decided to take him to Xihang Shen Family Manor. After all, his martial arts were taught personally by Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun, which means he’s also Shen Tianjun’s direct disciple. Moreover, given Shen Tianjun’s remorse towards Li Changqing, he’s sure to take good care of Li Bing’en.

There’s also the matter of the Gold Silk Armor, which doesn’t belong to one of the seven keys of the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates. Ye Qing didn’t know its exact use either. However, since Prince Wan Yan wanted to seize this thing, it’s certainly not simple. Ye Qing also prepares to send it to Xihang Shen Family Manor, allowing Shen Tianjun to safeguard it.

Not many people know about the Gold Silk Armor. Otherwise, why would the Bloody Monk only snatch Ye Qing’s Seven-Star Ancient Sword? Therefore, leaving this Gold Silk Armor at Shen Family Manor, it’s likely that aside from Prince Wan Yan, not many would try to steal it. With Prince Wan Yan’s strength, he simply doesn’t have the capability to snatch this Gold Silk Armor from Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun. This way, the Gold Silk Armor can be safe.

After leaving Shenchuan City, Liu Mubai parted ways with Ye Qing. In order to find Huangfu Ziyu as soon as possible, Ye Qing and Liu Mubai agreed to search for Huangfu Ziyu in different directions separately. Ye Qing was heading to Shen Family Manor first, so he searched in that direction, while Liu Mubai went in the opposite direction.

In order to deliver the Gold Silk Armor before Prince Wan Yan arrived, Ye Qing can be said to have left Shenchuan City overnight with the Gold Silk Armor and Li Bing’en. He never thought, however, that another pair of eyes had been watching him all along.

Lu Zian actually arrived in Shenchuan City a day earlier. However, upon learning that the Bloody Monk and Ao Wuchang were in Shenchuan City, he also dared not enter recklessly. He didn’t mind Ao Wuchang much as he wasn’t aware of his strength so didn’t pay much attention. But the strength of the Bloody Monk, he knew very well. Especially with that white-haired Ding San under Bloody Monk’s command, Lu Zian no longer wished to fight alongside him.

Lu Zian came to Shenchuan City this time targeting Ye Qing. However, not daring to enter Shenchuan City to challenge Ye Qing, he waited outside for a day, looking for an opportunity. Unexpectedly, Ye Qing left Shenchuan City himself, providing him with a great opportunity.

Lu Zian followed Ye Qing for three to four hours, and only when Ye Qing was about to leave the Eastern Province did he appear to stop him. At such a distance, even if people from Shenchuan City wanted to help Ye Qing, it would be impossible.

Stopped by Lu Zian, Ye Qing didn’t even ask, as he had already guessed the identity of the visitor, and his heart started to worry. His departure from Shenchuan City was primarily to avoid Prince Wan Yan and also to let Li Lianshan and others extricate themselves from the chaos. He calculated many things but failed to account for Lu Zian; he never thought Lu Zian would come to intercept him.

Ye Qing actually knew about Lu Zian’s challenge long ago, but since Lu Zian hadn’t come over, Ye Qing’s vigilance decreased, thus overlooking him. Who would have thought, just when he is at his most fragile, the one he overlooked would appear.

Lu Zian had been injured by the white-haired Ding San before but had now fully recovered. He stood on the road ahead, gazing arrogantly at Ye Qing, and said loudly, ”The disciple of the Northern Fist King Li Changqing, haha, really interesting. I wonder if you can take a few of my moves. Five moves, or ten moves?”

Ye Qing frowned deeply. Lu Zian completely disregarded him, with his words full of ridicule. However, Lu Zian indeed had the skills; even Chen San and Cui Yulong were defeated by him, showing his strong capabilities. Now Ye Qing was alone, certainly not his opponent.

”Haha...” At this moment, a foolish laughter sounded from behind Ye Qing.

Ye Qing turned his head to see Li Bing’en, who had somehow already come out of the car, giggling and walking over from behind. As he walked past Ye Qing, he continued without pause, heading straight toward Lu Zian on the opposite side.

”Bing’en, what are you doing?” Ye Qing couldn’t help but get anxious and quickly went to hold Li Bing’en back, urgently saying, ”This person is very dangerous, much stronger than the disciples of Northern Martial Zen. Don’t go over.”

Li Bing’en seemed not to understand Ye Qing’s words, continuing to giggle while walking toward Lu Zian. Despite Ye Qing’s strength, he could not hold him back.
