Urban Martial Saint

Li Lianshan scratched his head, thought for a long while, and said, ”You’re right. This guy is probably just full of hot blood, wanting to take revenge. If he can’t kill them, then he’ll end up getting killed himself. That’d really not be worth it!”

Zhao Chengshuang furrowed his brows beside him and said, ”The most troublesome thing is, if he actually kills someone, the cops will likely deal with him before those enemies even have a chance to retaliate.”

”I’m telling you, you cops are useless when it comes to fighting crime and defending justice, but when it comes to bullying ordinary people, you’re damn good at it!” Li Lianshan grumbled angrily. ”Tell me, over there in Tianhui City, such a big thing happened, and not one of their cops stood up for Ding San. Instead, they teamed up with those bastards to bully the poor! What kind of fucking world is this?”

Zhao Chengshuang replied, ”The police system over in Tianhui City is indeed a mess, but that’s outside my jurisdiction. Even though I know about these things, I can’t just run over there and start issuing orders.”

”Can’t you report it to your superiors?” Li Lianshan asked.

”Report it?” Zhao Chengshuang said, ”I’m a cop from Shenchuan City. If I were to report matters about Tianhui City, where would that leave their police force’s dignity? This kind of thing goes against the unwritten rules in officialdom. There’s a saying: ’Sweep your own doorstep clean; don’t bother about the frost on your neighbor’s roof.’ In this line of work, if you stretch your hand too far, it’s bound to cost you.”

Li Lianshan sneered, ”I don’t give a damn about your official rules and regulations. All I know is, if there’s something I can’t stand, I’ll step in and deal with it!”

”No wonder you live so carefree!” Zhao Chengshuang sneered back. ”Fine, let’s drop this discussion. The most urgent matter now is to pray Ding San is still alive!”

Meanwhile, at Tianhui City, the sky was dark. In a corner behind the high school, a man stood in the shadows, silently watching the campus ahead. That man was none other than Ding San, who had just returned from Shenchuan City to Tianhui City. Tonight was the night he would exact his revenge!

As the school bell signaled the end of classes, the campus buzzed with excitement as students laughed and jostled their way toward the dormitories.

Standing in the darkness, Ding San kept his gaze fixed on the crowd. Finally, his eyes landed on six girls with heavy makeup, swaggering excessively as they walked, their arrogance palpable. No one around dared approach them, a testament to their domineering behavior in the school.

At the sight of these six girls, flashbacks of his daughter’s death overwhelmed Ding San. His daughter was only fifteen, driven to suicide by these girls. Her death left a wound in Ding San’s heart that would never heal.

Watching them enter the dormitory, Ding San quietly followed and hid near the flowerbeds outside, silently observing the dormitory.

As students gradually settled into their rooms, the dormitory doors were bolted shut. After freshening up, all the children went to bed. However, in the second-floor washroom, some remained awake.

Three girls knelt in the washroom while the six Little Sisters stood arrogantly before them. The three looked pretty but, being young, appeared delicate and naive.

”So, have you thought about what I told you yesterday?” the leading Little Sister sneered. ”For fuck’s sake, it’s just a damn hymen. You’ll lose it to a freebie boyfriend eventually. I’m giving you a chance to make money—sleep with someone tonight and earn one thousand yuan! Where else can you find such a great deal?”

The three girls lowered their heads, too scared to speak. One of the Little Sisters grew impatient and barked, ”******, the Big Sister is talking to you, didn’t you hear her? Are you going to do it or not? Answer already! Or do you want to kneel here all night again? Didn’t get enough of last night’s lesson, huh? Want more tonight?”

Terrified by her outburst, the girls began sobbing quietly. Their tears intensified the rage of the six Little Sisters, who began slapping them across their faces while shouting, demanding they stop crying.

Just then, the dormitory administrator happened to patrol by. Seeing the scene in the washroom, she showed no surprise and casually waved her hand. ”Keep it down!”

”Alright!” The lead Little Sister grinned. ”Don’t worry, I’ll make them shut up right now. Second Brother, Third Brother, drag them into the toilet and dunk their heads in the toilet bowl. Let’s see if they can cry after that!”

The three girls screamed aloud as the Little Sisters burst into laughter, dragging them into the bathroom. The administrator, indifferent to what was happening inside, simply walked downstairs, heading back to her room to sleep.

When she got to the first floor, she noticed a shadow standing at the dormitory entrance. Surprised, she wondered who could be there at this hour.

”Hey, what are you doing?” she asked as she approached. ”Everyone’s in bed by now. What are you here for?”

The figure was Ding San. He stepped forward and softly said, ”Sis, my... my daughter told me she wasn’t feeling well, so I wanted to check on her...”

The administrator said curtly, ”Check on her? This is a girls’ dorm, men aren’t allowed in. Besides, the door’s locked. Come back tomorrow if you must!”

Ding San said, ”My daughter’s not well, I’m really worried about her. Sis, how about... how about you take this medicine to her for me?”

”I don’t have time for this. Come back tomorrow and give it to her yourself,” the administrator said. ”Now leave, or I’ll call someone to come drag you away!”

”I...” Ding San hesitated for a moment. ”Sis, I won’t ask you to do this for free. If you bring her the medicine, I... I’ll give you one hundred yuan, alright?”

Hearing money mentioned, the administrator’s mood shifted instantly. Smiling, she walked over and said, ”Aw, you really care about your daughter, don’t you? Fine, I’ll make an exception. What’s her name and which dorm room is she in?”

As she reached the entrance and stretched out her hand to take the medicine from Ding San, he suddenly grabbed her through the gate, pulled her close, and clamped her throat with his other hand. Leaning in close, he whispered, ”Her name is Ding Xuanxuan, Room Nine, Third Floor. Do you remember her?”

At these words, the administrator froze in terror. Of course, she remembered Ding Xuanxuan—the girl who had jumped to her death after being mercilessly tormented by those six Little Sisters for hours. She hadn’t considered it a big deal at the time, but now, faced with this man, she realized just how grave the matter had been.

She struggled desperately, her mouth opening as if to plead for mercy. But Ding San wasn’t going to give her a chance to speak. He tightened his grip on her neck, reached for the dagger at his waist, and pressed it against her throat. In a low, menacing voice, he said, ”I heard you took a lot of money from those girls, so you never cared what they did here. My daughter’s death—you bear half the blame. Now go downstairs and apologize to her!”

Hearing this, the administrator was paralyzed with fear, struggling in vain to escape. But as a woman, she couldn’t overpower Ding San.

Gritting his teeth, Ding San slit her throat with the dagger. Blood sprayed out in a torrent. The severing of her arteries didn’t kill her instantly; she could still feel death creeping in slowly—the most terrifying sensation of all.

Retrieving the keys from her waist, Ding San unlocked the dormitory door, entered, and locked it behind him. Tonight, no one—not even the six Little Sisters—would leave alive.

The administrator lay in a pool of her own blood, clutching her throat desperately, her mouth agape but unable to make a sound. Her strength waned bit by bit, and eventually, she was utterly drained. She lay motionless in the blood, paying for her past actions with her life.

Ding San stood nearby, watching her die slowly. He murmured, ”Daughter, consider this the interest—take it for now. I’ll kill as many who harmed you as I can. As long as your dad still has breath in his body, he’ll fight them to the end.”

Finished, he gripped the dagger tightly and climbed the stairs.

In the second-floor washroom, the six Little Sisters were still tormenting the three girls—forcing their heads into toilet bowls, slapping their faces, splashing cold water on them. Their methods were horrifying, making one marvel at how even teenage girls could harbor such cruelty.

Ding San reached the second floor, witnessing the scene unfold. He saw the three girls, beaten into silent submission, and his thoughts turned to his daughter. Just like these girls, his child had endured such torment alone at the hands of six bullies. What agony had driven her to leap from the building in despair?

”Please... please let me go. I... I can’t take it anymore...” One girl begged through her sobs. This torment was unbearable—even for a man—let alone for young girls.

The Big Sister smirked coldly. ”Do as I say, and not only will I stop bullying you, but you’ll belong to me. No one in this school will dare touch you, and I’ll even give you spending money. It’s such a good deal; what are you dissatisfied with?”

”I... I won’t listen to you...” another girl, with a stronger sense of defiance, retorted angrily. ”This is a crime. I... I’ll report you.”

”Report me?” The Big Sister burst into laughter. ”Report me for what? School violence? Wake up, little girl—I’m not even sixteen yet, so I can’t even be convicted. You want to report me? Have you already forgotten how Ding Xuanxuan died?”
