My Alleged Husband

Chapter 47: Chapter 46 Dominant Xia Jing_2

The driver, after hearing Xia Jing’s speech, didn’t know how to comfort her. He sighed and said to Xia Jing, ”Anyway, amidst this vast sea of people, meeting each other is fate, and being together is even more precious. Why not cherish that? What couples need is trust, and what more when you become husband and wife? If you don’t even have the most basic trust in him, then what love are you talking about?”

Listening to the driver, Xia Jing felt he made a lot of sense. She spoke to the driver, ”Uncle, I have a question for you.”

”Sure, go ahead!”

”Uncle, you said that what couples need is trust, but then may I ask, where do you think he places me in his heart? I’ve already told him so, he could have cut off all ties with that woman, but he didn’t. He still has her phone number. How can I not be angry?”

The driver listened for a while and finally understood that Xia Jing suspected that Zhang Zhentian still had Li Jiayuan’s phone number saved in his mobile phone.

”Did you witness her number in his phone yourself? Or did you actually see him call that woman?” the driver asked her in return.

”I didn’t see it myself, but I just feel uncomfortable. If he’s with me, he should not think about other women,” Xia Jing, at a loss for words from the driver’s question, replied angrily.

”That’s settled then. Since you didn’t see it yourself, don’t easily misunderstand him. I’m an outsider, but don’t mind me speaking a fair word.”

”Of course I don’t mind, Uncle, please speak!”

”I’ve been through life, and there are many truths that I know much more about than you do. Don’t easily misunderstand the person who loves you, and don’t just say hurtful things, because a person’s heart can’t take the pain. If you wound him too much, he’ll gradually become distant until finally, he won’t love you like this anymore. With so many people in the world, since the two of you could meet, why not cherish each other and accompany each other for life? Child, take my advice, after you find him don’t argue anymore. The two of you should live a good life together, that’s the best outcome for you both.”

Xia Jing thought over what the driver said and felt it was indeed the best outcome. She smiled at the driver and said, ”Thank you, Uncle, I know what to do now. I will live well with him, and I won’t be like this anymore. Now I understand that being together requires trust. After I find him, I’ll take him home, and I won’t be capricious anymore!”

Hearing Xia Jing say this, the driver felt much more at ease. By the time they finished talking, they had arrived at their next destination—Stardust Bar!

Xia Jing hurriedly ran out of the car, thanked the driver with a ”thank you,” and dashed towards Stardust Bar.

The driver, seeing Xia Jing like this, was quite pleased and drove away.

As soon as Xia Jing entered the bar, she saw Zhang Zhentian lying drunk on the sofa, with women lurking around him.

Without saying a word, Xia Jing walked straight to Zhang Zhentian’s side. As she approached, several women were trying to cuddle up to Zhang Zhentian, but Xia Jing grabbed one of the women and slapped her across the face, one after another.

”You dare touch my man?” Xia Jing asked furiously.

The women were frightened by Xia Jing’s fierceness, and one, not afraid to die, shouted at Xia Jing, ”Who are you? What do you mean ’your man’? Even if he’s your man, him coming here to drink just shows you’re not good enough for him. What right do you have to come here and hit us?”

Xia Jing sneered and slapped the woman again. Pointing at the woman’s nose, she said, ”So what if I’m good to him, can’t he come here to drink? He’s free to do so, I’m so indulgent, what’s it to you? Little sister, let me tell you, you can be a good or a bad person. But never be the ’other woman’ who destroys someone else’s family, because you’ll end up in a terrible way!”

Patting the woman’s shoulder, Xia Jing spoke words that left her speechless. She turned to the other women and said, ”Even if they’re men that Xia Jing doesn’t want, you are not allowed to touch them. Even if I handed them over to you, would you consider whether you can afford them?”

After speaking, Xia Jing turned to lift Zhang Zhentian up. She said to him, ”No matter how I treat you, you can’t seek others outside.”

”I’m sorry, Xia Jing, I won’t do this again!” Zhang Zhentian, still groggy, heard Xia Jing’s words by his ear and replied intermittently.

With that, Zhang Zhentian’s words made those women who wanted to get close to him feel very embarrassed. Xia Jing, carrying Zhang Zhentian out, glanced at these women and brought him back to the Zhang Family.
