Transmigrated as a Peasant Baby Who is Pampered by All

Chapter 579: Chapter 351: Space Upgrade

After a while, Xiao Mi eagerly entered the space as soon as she got to her room. After all, it’s normal to read a book with the door closed in the dead of winter.

”Wow! Such a big change!”

Upon entering the space, Xiao Mi exclaimed in surprise, her eyes curiously surveying the upgraded space.

The original small courtyard had turned into a two-part courtyard. The layout wasn’t particularly special; the Spiritual Spring water had moved to the inner courtyard, while the front courtyard was just a screen wall and a small flowerbed beside it.

Of course, the warehouse and bedrooms had also moved to the inner courtyard, with the front courtyard having only house doors on either side of the main entrance, specifically for the Gatekeeper and servants.

After taking a tour around inside, Xiao Mi immediately went outside to mainly see the changes outside.

The space had expanded a lot, at least doubled in size!

The previously somewhat cramped space now felt spacious, even somewhat empty.

Apart from these, the most notable change was that a few mountain peaks had appeared at the edges, not tall, but definitely a significant change!

”Oh my god, there are actually mountains!” Xiao Mi was delighted, absolutely thrilled.

”Yes, Master, I’ve already moved the ginseng, Sanqi, and He Shouwu you previously planted into the mountains. They will grow better over there.”

Accompanied by Ling’er’s voice was still the sensation of a gentle breeze on the face.

Xiao Mi instantly snapped back to reality, ”Oh right, Ling’er, I bought a parrot. Wait a moment, I’ll bring it in for you.”

In the rush earlier, she had forgotten to bring the parrot in.

Saying so, she disappeared from space and soon reappeared, now with a black bird in her hands.

”Ling’er, do you think this will work?”

Xiao Mi was holding the parrot with both hands, but now she boldly released it after entering the space.

The parrot flapped its wings, trying to fly, but after a few attempts, it couldn’t lift off, and it opened its beak to squawk.

The sound was clear and somewhat melodic.

It must be said, its voice was indeed pleasant to hear.

”Great, thank you, Master!”

Ling’er’s voice was inadvertently excited, and the breeze around Xiao Mi seemed to swirl in delight.

”By the way, Ling’er, I forgot to ask earlier, will possessing the parrot affect it in any way?”

Although she had already bought the parrot intending for Ling’er to possess it, she still wanted to ask.

”Rest assured, Master, I carry Spiritual Energy, so possessing the parrot will also be greatly beneficial for it. Just to say, it will definitely live a few more years without any issue.”

”As for any downside, it’s that when I possess it, it has no consciousness of its own. When I leave, it will feel hungry and tired.”

”Oh, and every time I possess, there’s a time limit. Based on my recent check with the parrot, I can possess it for up to two hours a day.”

Xiao Mi understood.

In other words, it was two souls sharing one body, and they wouldn’t be aware of each other’s actions. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

At the same time, one of the souls could only appear for two hours a day.

”I see,” Xiao Mi released her control over the parrot, raising her hand as it spread its wings and flew to perch on a distant tree.

It flew around a few more times and surprisingly circled to the roof of the backyard.

Xiao Mi chuckled, ”Indeed, animals are innately sensitive to Spiritual Energy.”

The parrot must have sensed the abundance of Spiritual Energy over there and flown over, but without permission from her and Ling’er, it couldn’t enter the courtyard, so it lingered on the rooftop.

”Master, could you take me with you when you go out? I want to see the outside world, as I have no idea what it’s like now.”

Ling’er, being an Artifact Spirit of the space, couldn’t perceive the external environment.

Even leaving the space required Xiao Mi’s permission, even if she possessed the parrot.

Xiao Mi nodded, ”No problem, I’ll first check out the changes in the space. We will head out afterward.”

As for the parrot, let it breathe in some Spiritual Energy first.
