The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 278: Chapter 278- Greetings With Bullets

”In that case, tell me what are her demands?”

”First, she needs her own guards protecting her house and herself 24x7. Secondly, she wants at least a small sized mansion to live in if she were to move to Snowpoint City”.

The first two points, although raised his eyebrows, were still manageable. Thus, he nodded his head.

”Thirdly, she wants the theatre to be completed before she arrives”.

”The theatre? Well, that is no problem either. But does this friend of yours also make fun little movies, too?” Since she wants the theatre to be completed, he surmised that perhaps she made her own movies too.

Melissa grinned, ”That’s right, she makes movies and does plays. She was extremely famous until recently, too.”

Until recently meant that she was no longer making films. As this was their personal matter, Reinhardt didn’t ask and simply nodded.

The construction of theatre was also important for the economy and money flow in the city. There were too few places of entertainment here, thus people hoarded their money and less flowed in the market.

The theatre was scheduled to be finished by the end of next month. That is to say, it would take one month and a little more.

”Fourth...”

”There is still more?”

Reinhardt was surprised. How many conditions did this woman list?

Melissa smiled helplessly. Even she was starting to feel like her friend was being too demanding here.

”She wants a high level priest in the city that can cast level 5 [Cure All] or at least [Vital Bloom].”

A high level priest in the city? That’s a peculiar condition. Well, every city in Solaris has at least one church of the Seven Old Gods, and one priest is assigned to each one to manage them.

Snowpoint being a city, also had one. However, due to Baron Chetak’s tyranny, the church had to be shut down, and the priest had to run away for his life for being too honest and good in a city filled with evil.

Right now, the church was just an abandoned ruin. That said, if she just wanted someone who can cast [Cure All], the knights of his order could do that too. The skill [Cure All] was a must learn for every member of the Temple of Light once they reach level 5.

Reinhardt nodded, ”Anything else?”

Melissa shook her head, feeling embarrassed herself.

”Ah!” Suddenly, she remembered something and spoke. ”She said that she wants to meet with the Governor of the city first before deciding whether she will move or not. Furthermore, because of her special circumstances, she cannot go out of her house. So we must be the ones to go and bring her”.

So there ARE more demands.

”Sigh... since I have already agreed to so many demands of hers, might as well do this one too. However, what does she mean by special circumstances, and that she can’t go out?”

Reinhardt questioned. The more he knew about her, the more of an enigma she became.

Melissa simply smiled bitterly but did not explain. ”You will learn about it once you meet her. I can just say that she is too pitiful. Maybe moving here will be better for her too”.

”I see in that case, let us go and meet with her.”

Reinhardt got up from his seat and donned his overcoat. With authority and charisma oozing out of him, his get up was simply perfect. These days, other than when on missions, there is hardly any time when he gets to put on his armor, [Celestial Vanguard]

.
”Wait, are we going right now? The letter just arrived today”.

”There is no better time than right now,” Saying that, he pulled Melissa closer to him.

”Eh? B-But weren’t we going to the capital...?”

Before the latter could complete her sentence, she found herself in a place she was very familiar with.

”Huh? We are in the capital? But weren’t we in the office just a second ago?”

”I have a movement skill that allows me to teleport to any place that I have been before instantly”.

The woman looked extremely surprised. She got so used to Reinhardt being her boss and the Governor of the city that she sometimes forgot that he was one of the three legendary heroes and the person who was called the knight among knights by the masses.

Just as she was admiring the man, a breeze blew by, passing by her thighs and entering into her most sensitive place. At that instant, her eyes opened wide and she hurriedly pulled the hem of her skirt down.

”Oh no, I am still without my underwear,” Melissa suddenly exclaimed.

Seeing her panic, Reinhardt grinned and calmed her down. ”Relax, you already have 3 days of practice going without underwear. There won’t be any problem as long as you act naturally. Besides, this is your punishment. Situations like this will teach you more on self control and endurance”.

It would be a lie to say that he wasn’t enjoying her predicament. Nevertheless, he had no plans of making it easier for her.

”So where does that friend of yours live?”

”West block district.”

Melissa’s answer caused Reinhardt to arch his brows for a second. Although he did not stay much in the capital, he had been here plenty of times, and from his memories, he could tell that the west block district was the place where the rich, the influential, and the nobles lived.

Even their Arcknight mansion was there. Well, given this person was extremely famous, it did make sense they earned a lot too.

The two walked for a while, before long, they arrived in front of a clean district so well maintained that one could not even find a single speck of dust here.

What’s more, the buildings, streetlamps, roads here were all made of high class material that had a tasteful and unique aesthetic design. Not to mention the visually appealing fountains, statues and other decorations that were placed in intervals.
