The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 109: Chapter 109- Passion Inside the Toilet

”You were a big help, thank you”.

Reinhardt glanced at the demi human chief and thanked her for her testimony. A big portion of the reason behind why he was able to sway so many minds was because of her presence.

If he didn’t bring her with him to the capital, the council would not have believed him when he told them that he accomplished his mission in Toto village. Nor would his words hold as much credibility as they did when he told them about the kidnapped demi humans and the underground slave market.

”Hehe, Sir Reinhardt does not need to thank me. Didn’t I tell you that all the demi huamns owe a huge debt of gratitude towards you? We will stand beside you no matter what you do in the future”.

He nodded ”Let’s go back to our mansion. I’m sure the other are nervously waiting for the news”.

Their Commander was just absolved of all of the charges; how could they not celebrate? The Arcknight’s mansion in the capital was boisterous with Knights of the Order partying till late at night.

The news of the Commander of the Temple of Light being put on the hearing spread like wildfire, along with the rumors that he had captured the nobles who were involved in illegal slave trading.

As a hero sung in praises by the bard, the masses were happy to hear more about his feats. Pubs were packed full, and red light districts abuzz with happy customers.

.

.

Back at the mansion of the Arcknights in the capital, members of the order were happily drinking and filling their stomachs with food inside the hall that was specially decorated for the celebration today.

”Commander, another drink, let us toast another one.”

At the centre, the high ranking knights like Bob, Marcus and Grey were being quite boisterous. Not only were they drunk as skunks, but they insisted on making their Commander intoxicated too.

As it was a day of celebration, Reinhardt didn’t stop them. In fact, he wanted to join them too. His earthly soul loved alcohol. However, after downing numerous glasses, he came to a chilling realisation.

His current body was unable to get intoxicated. In fact, whenever he was starting to feel a little better, his Divine Traits that were like passive abilities would remove any harmful condiments from his body.

[Ruler of Light’s Eternal Vitality] The embodiment of endless life energy. Grants limitless virility and vitality. The Divine Paladin can recover from any injury, poison, or affliction at an extraordinary rate. Their stamina is limitless, allowing them to fight or endure for days without rest.

Reinhardt shed silent tears while reading the words displayed in front of him.

A little away, the squires and new recruits looked at the high ranking knights getting carried away with the mood.

”Is this alright? Does a knight order usually drink this much?”

Gwen questioned. As a noble lady who came from a respectable noble house, this sort of atmosphere was quite different than what she usually saw at the parties back in her territory.

”The other noble knight orders might not celebrate like this. However, the Temple of Light is different. Ever since Lord Reinhardt took the reins, he not only recruited nobles, but also included commoners and peasants into his order as long as they were talented”...

”A sight like this where nobles and peasants are drinking together like comrades in arms, you won’t see it in other knight orders”.

A maid explained.

Gwen looked at the maid doing the explaining and couldn’t help but gasp a little at her beauty. Hourglass like curvy body, long, lustrous black hair that was tied into a bun. Big, beautiful eyes that were behind a pair of spectacles, and prim and proper dress without any creases or dirt.

The beauty in front of her naturally exuded an intellectual, mature allure that made even a woman like her jealous of her.

Gwen quickly realised that his person was someone with quite some authority in the Arcknight mansion. If she was not wrong...

”You are the headmaid of the duke’s household, Anastasia”.

”I’m very honoured that Lady Gwendolyn from house Odessa remembers my name,” the headmaid bowed her head mannerly. At the same time, the cleavage of her voluptuous breast became more accentuated.

This woman, she was not lacking in any department... Gwen thought in her head and grumbled.

Seeing where her gaze was, Ana couldn’t help but smile ”Lady Gwen is still only fourteen years old. You have plenty of time to grow”.

Her inner thoughts seen, the girl’s face turned a bright red, and she hurriedly changed the topic.

”E-Even if this order is different from the other ones, is it alright to drink this much? I can feel my respect for the Holy Knights plummeting, seeing them perform stupid actions”.

”Fufu, I guess everyone would feel like that. However, the fact that they are drinking so much and acting like that just goes to show how worried they were for their Commander”.

Indeed, the hearing today at the Senate was by no means ordinary. If they did not have a solid plan, there was a chance that their Commander would have been relieved of his duties, and the order would be under the command of someone else.

At that time, there was no guarantee that the new order would be like the current one.

”What are you all doing? Come dance with us,” in the distance, the holy knights shouted.

The others, swayed by the mood, started dancing too.

I guess this is good in itself, Gwen took a juice and enjoyed the ambience.

.

The party continued on till late at night. Bob, Marcus, and Grey, the three holy knights of the order, entered the washroom, their steps unsteady.

”Haaah!! That was a great party. Remind me why we don’t do this more often.”

”Don’t be an idiot. As if we can do that. You will lose all of the respect you have earned till now from your juniors”
