School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 483: Chapter 537: Junior Sister’s Questioning

After the fellow disciples entered the room, they closed the door. Ye Yiyi cast a casual glance at the bed and noticed a divine artifact resting on the bedhead—a woman’s bra.

”Whose is this?”

Her eyes showed a hint of surprise as she looked at Chen Nan.

Although she trusted Chen Nan and didn’t believe he would betray her, the presence of a bra on his bedhead inevitably made her think otherwise.

This is bad, this is so bad!

Chen Nan cursed himself for his carelessness. This bra belonged to Gongsun Yudie. The last time Su Qingqing and the others discovered it, it was Yun Fei who helped him lie his way out of it, and then he tossed it onto the bed, planning to find time to return it to Gongsun Yudie.

But the next night, he stayed at Huo Xinya’s place, and then he went to Immortal Spirit Valley to look for his junior sister, without any chance to return it.

So many things had happened these past few days that he had completely forgotten about the existence of the bra and had carelessly brought his junior sister into the room.

Chen Nan quickly shook his head and said, ”This, no... This isn’t mine.”

Seeing Chen Nan’s panic-stricken face, Ye Yiyi felt something was wrong, and her tone carried a hint of jealousy, ”I know it’s not yours since you’re a man, but whose is it exactly?”

”I don’t know either.”

Chen Nan continued, shaking his head as he explained, ”It must be Yun Fei’s. She likes to play pranks, so she must have placed it here to cause a misunderstanding.”

”She didn’t know I was coming, so how could she have put a bra here in advance for me to find?” Ye Yiyi shook her head, ”And after I arrived, she has been in the hall all the time; it’s even less likely she came into your room to play a prank.”

This, this, this...

Chen Nan was in turmoil, his junior sister’s thoughts were meticulous, and it was difficult for simple lies to convince her.

”Perhaps, during the time I was away, one of them stayed in my room and left their clothes here.”

Ye Yiyi’s gaze was unwavering as she stared at Chen Nan.

She neither confirmed nor denied Chen Nan’s explanation.

After a silence, she said earnestly, ”My senior brother, you never lied to me before, and I hope you won’t start now.”

At this point, it was impossible for Chen Nan to tell the truth.

Because if he did, his junior sister would definitely be heartbroken. Chen Nan looked into her eyes, ”I didn’t lie to you, I truly don’t know whose it is.”

Ye Yiyi nodded.

After hesitating for a long while, she said, ”Can I ask you something and you answer me truthfully?”

”Of course.”

”Before I came back, did you have any intimate relations with any other women?”

A shock went through Chen Nan’s heart.

Why would his junior sister ask such a question? Was she beginning to doubt him?

But why would she doubt him out of the blue?

Could it be that Huo Xinya told his junior sister about Li Xiao’s issues, as well as her own?

The moment Chen Nan had this thought, he immediately dismissed it. Huo Xinya was someone who kept her promises, and she had assured him she wouldn’t tell his junior sister; but if she didn’t tell her, why would his junior sister be suspicious?

Seeing Chen Nan didn’t respond for a long time, Ye Yiyi’s uneasy feeling grew stronger. She asked, ”Is it so hard to answer this question?”

”It’s not.”

Chen Nan shook his head, ”I’m just wondering why you would suspect me?”

”I just asked casually, it’s not really suspicion,” Ye Yiyi said, ”I’m a bit curious why the way you look at Xinya and Su Qingqing is different from how you look at others. In the past, you only had that look in your eyes when you saw me.”

Chen Nan, stiffening up, denied, ”How could that be? Believe me, I would never let you down.”

”That’s not what I’m concerned about,”

Ye Yiyi shook her head, saying, ”Senior brother, as long as you’re happy, there’s nothing that could make me happier. If... if you truly fall for someone else, just tell me, your sister will bless you, and I won’t cling to you desperately.”

Ye Yiyi spoke in a calm tone, every word painfully sincere.

Chen Nan felt so guilty on behalf of his junior sister that he thought it was terribly unfair to her.

In her heart, Chen Nan was her everything. No matter what Chen Nan did, even if it hurt her, she foolishly supported him; yet in Chen Nan’s heart, the junior sister was just one of the most important people, just one of them.

”How can you be so foolish? Don’t think like that. In my heart, you’re the most important now, you will be in the future, and you’ll always be,” Chen Nan held her in his embrace and silently swore to himself that he must never let her down in this life.

A happy smile appeared on Ye Yiyi’s face, ”You’re so kind to me.”

Chen Nan felt ashamed inside.

The kindness his junior sister showed him far exceeded what he had shown her by more than a hundredfold.

”How can there be such a foolish woman?”

A soft murmur suddenly came from outside the door. It seemed to be Eastern Yun Fei’s voice.

Chen Nan and Ye Yiyi, both martial arts masters with excellent hearing, now frowned slightly and looked toward the door.

”Shh...”

Chen Nan made a silencing gesture and tiptoed toward the door.

”Click...”

As the sound of the lock opening was heard, Chen Nan yanked the door open and immediately, there were several shocked exclamations of ”wa ya.” Eastern Yun Fei and Liu Tiantian, who had been eavesdropping against the door, fell forward into the room, tumbling to the ground in a heap.

Su Yixuan, who had been dragged there by force, stood behind them and didn’t fall.

”Yun sister, Tiantian, what are you doing? Bowing as soon as you enter the door, there’s no need to be so polite,” Chen Nan said with feigned surprise.

That bastard definitely opened the door on purpose!

Eastern Yun Fei clenched her teeth in silent curse at Chen Nan while smiling sheepishly as she stood up, ”That... Don’t misunderstand, I was just passing by here and happened to fall over, that’s all.”

Liu Tiantian rubbed her sore chest, ”Flirty Fei sister, we came to eavesdrop, how is that just passing by?”

”You...”

Eastern Yun Fei was completely speechless.

She was not afraid of a god-like opponent, but feared a pig-like teammate.

She looked at Liu Tiantian with frustration. ”Can’t you be a little less foolish, large chest no brain.”

”You have a small chest and no brain either.”

Liu Tiantian grumbled and, realizing she had said something she shouldn’t have, stuck out her tongue at Chen Nan and scampered off.

Su Yixuan also waved her hand and left in a flash, leaving Eastern Yun Fei alone at the doorway.

”Yun sister, can you tell me why your character is sinking lower and lower? Do you know what eavesdropping at the wall is? Do you know how shameful and despicable it is?”

Chen Nan scolded her sternly, and Eastern Yun Fei stammered, unable to offer a defense.

However, at that moment, the Black Feathered Chicken emerged from a corner.

”Chen kid, didn’t you tell Chicken Lord before that you liked this Eastern chick and were set on winning her over? Why are you scolding her then?”

As soon as this was said, Ye Yiyi’s eyebrows knitted tightly together as she, along with Eastern Yun Fei, turned to look at Chen Nan.

Chen Nan was on the verge of tears; his junior sister already had some suspicions about him, and now this damned chicken even came to fan the flames.
