School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 116: Chapter 134: Jiang Xiaomi Loses Control

Where to put face?

Jiang Xiaomi was stunned at first before she realized what was happening. She glared daggers at Chen Nan, about to curse him to hell, but just then, she felt a burning pain in her chest, as if someone had grabbed her, and grabbed hard at that!

”Ahhhh! You dead pervert, I’ll beat you to death!”

Jiang Xiaomi yelled furiously and threw a punch straight at Chen Nan’s head.

At that moment, Chen Nan’s hands were pinned down by her body, and it was too late to pull back to defend, so he could only dodge to the side to avoid the blow.

As a result, Chen Nan dodged, but Jiang Xiaomi met with tragedy.

”Bang...”

Her fair and delicate fist slammed into the ground. Although it was a plastic surface, the impact of her overexertion was still very painful.

”Ah! Sss...”

Jiang Xiaomi cried out in pain and inhaled sharply, jumping up with her fist clenched, tears nearly shooting out of her eyes.

Chen Nan looked at her with some compassion; he didn’t want it to be like this either, but the situation was critical just now, and Jiang Xiaomi had used so much force. He couldn’t just let her punch land on his head and turn him into a pig-faced man, right?

”Sigh, you reap what you sow, you can’t live with yourself!”

Chen Nan shook his head with a sigh and walked away.

At this moment, both on and off the court, there was silence, with everyone staring wide-eyed at the scene. Many boys, drooling, envied Chen Nan. What did it feel like to be pinned down by Jiang Xiaomi? They wanted to try it too! But alas, no chance.

Because of the pain in her hand, Jiang Xiaomi’s abilities were significantly weakened in the remaining game.

Chen Nan also felt guilty about what had just happened, so he didn’t target her deliberately anymore. Yet, even so, after the game ended, Class 9 still had the upper hand. With a score of sixty-eight to sixty-two, they trounced Class 8 and claimed the title of first place.

The title of the best basketball skills in the grade, which belonged to Class 8, was now Class 9’s.

”You dead pervert, just you wait!”

Jiang Xiaomi glared at Chen Nan and turned to walk away from the court.

She had thought she could get revenge and smack Chen Nan’s butt, even considering planting an embroidery needle on the wooden board. But to lose this badly, how could she not be upset?

”Hey, don’t rush off. Does our bet still stand?” Chen Nan called out with a chuckle, watching Jiang Xiaomi’s retreating figure.

A bet?

Running ten laps around the track with a bra on her head?

Jiang Xiaomi shuddered at the thought; she couldn’t afford that kind of embarrassment. She glared fiercely back at Chen Nan, ”Drop dead!” Then she turned and ran out of the basketball court, thinking every second she stayed was another second of lost face.

”Women are women, they can be so flaky,” Chen Nan muttered with a headshake, though he had no intention of actually making Jiang Xiaomi honor the bet.

However, right as his words fell, Su Qingqing rushed over, hands on her hips, staring at him furiously, ”You dumb idiot, what are you saying? One careless move and you upset everybody, what’s wrong with women? Look down on women, do you?”

”Uh...”

Chen Nan was immediately at a loss. He was just mumbling to himself and meant no disrespect to women!

Zhu Bajie and the others, who had initially planned to come over for a chat, saw Su Qingqing’s fierce demeanor and skulked away one by one, secretly relishing the fact that their own cousins weren’t nearly as fierce...

”Chen Nan, come to the office with me.”

The voice of Lan Yuqin called out, stopping Chen Nan, who was heading towards the school gate.

”Did you cause trouble again?” Su Qingqing asked.

Chen Nan shook his head and turned to Lan Yuqin, ”The game is over, is there something else?”

”Of course, there’s something. Come with me to the office.”

”Can’t you say it here?” Chen Nan said, ”School is already over, and I have things to do at home. Can’t it wait until tomorrow?”

”No!” Lan Yuqin’s beautiful eyes widened as she turned to Su Qingqing and said, ”Qingqing, you go ahead. I need to talk to him.”

When the homeroom teacher spoke up, Su Qingqing couldn’t very well talk back, so she teased Chen Nan with a sly tongue-poking and a schadenfreude-filled face as if to tell him, you’ve definitely stirred up trouble again, you’re finished.

As soon as Su Qingqing left, Lan Yuqin grabbed Chen Nan’s hand and headed toward the teaching building.

Being dragged off in this manner annoyed Chen Nan, ”You don’t have to pull me; I know the way.”

”Less nonsense.”

Lan Yuqin glared at him but didn’t let go.

Because she knew this guy’s nature well; the moment she let go, he would very likely run off.

Chen Nan simply stopped moving, refusing to walk. ”Teacher, please have some self-respect! If you like me, just say it straight, why do you have to take advantage of me this way!”

”You!”

Lan Yuqin didn’t even know how to scold him anymore and glared at him fiercely before reluctantly letting go, ”You’d better not run, or you’re dead meat tomorrow.”

Chen Nan shrugged his shoulders, looking unconcerned.

Why should he run off perfectly fine? If he ran now, not only would he have Su Qingqing to deal with, but Lan Yuqin would also make trouble for him tomorrow. It wouldn’t be worth it!

After arriving at the office, Lan Yuqin poured him a glass of water herself, ”You worked hard for the basketball game victory.”

Chen Nan was somewhat dumbfounded. Was this still Lan Yuqin? Why had she suddenly become courteous?

”It’s what I should do, what I should do,” he said.

Chen Nan accepted the water with a forced smile, feeling unsettled. He was certain that Lan Yuqin bringing him here was definitely not for anything good.

”Have a seat,” Lan Yuqin gestured to a chair beside her and then became serious, ”I have a few things I want to ask you, and I hope you’ll be honest. What exactly is your relationship with Jiang Xiaomi, Liu Tiantian, and Huo Xinya?”

Chen Nan was taken aback for a moment. These three... he seemed to have nothing to do with them, right?

Seeing Chen Nan not speaking, Lan Yuqin continued, ”You were hesitant to take action on the basketball court today; are you still hung up over old feelings for Jiang Xiaomi?”

”What? Old feelings?”

Chen Nan was puzzled. What old feelings could he have with Jiang Xiaomi? If anything, it was enmity rather than affection!

”Don’t play dumb; I know all about it,” Lan Yuqin sat down and said, ”You and Jiang Xiaomi used to be a couple and then broke up. She was still chasing after you relentlessly, and the entire school was abuzz with it. Did you think I wouldn’t know?”

”But that’s not true.”

Chen Nan felt helpless; that was just a lie he’d blurted out when Jiang Xiaomi was chasing him that day!

”Fine, denial is unnecessary. Then what is your relationship with Liu Tiantian and Huo Xinya?”

”If I say there’s nothing, would you believe me?”

Lan Yuqin stared at him for a while, then said with a firm tone, ”I can’t stop you from liking them, but I want you to understand one thing. As your teacher, I absolutely will not allow my students to engage in early romances!”

”Early romance?” Chen Nan scratched his head, ”I’m already twenty years old, it’s not early romance; even if it were twilight romance, that would be late.”

Lan Yuqin’s eyes widened, ”Don’t be slick with me. I don’t care how old you are; no high school student is allowed to date!”

”Is that so?”

Chen Nan chuckled, his gaze fixed intently on Lan Yuqin until she felt uncomfortable, then he suddenly snickered, ”Teacher, you seemed to have had an early romance in high school, too. And you even lost your first kiss, didn’t you?”

Upon hearing this, Lan Yuqin’s heart skipped a beat. How... how did he know about that?
