School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 120: Chapter 138: Buying a Junk Car

At Qin Yixuan’s loud shout, Chen Nan completely ignored her and strode outside directly.

Seeing Chen Nan ignore her, Qin Yixuan hurriedly jumped up, kicked a foot on the desk, and like a cunning rabbit, she sprang forward and slammed the door shut, ”Chen, if you don’t agree to this today, don’t think about leaving!”

Chen Nan was quite annoyed. Qin Yixuan was truly something else. He had heard of forcing someone to become a bandit and of forcing marriages, but he had never heard of forcing someone to become a police officer.

”I don’t want to deal with you, move aside.”

Chen Nan simply pushed her aside and reached out to open the door.

Qin Yixuan glared and grabbed his clothes, snorting coldly, ”Bastard, how dare you not listen to me?”

”You aren’t my wife, why should I listen to you?” Chen Nan shook his head, freed himself from her grasp, and continued walking out without looking back.

Qin Yixuan stared fixedly at his retreating figure, feeling speechless. Others couldn’t find a way to become a police officer, yet this guy simply refused the offer.

The more Qin Yixuan thought about it, the less willing she was to let Chen Nan go. With his martial arts skills, it would be a waste not to make good use of him.

It’s you who forced me to take drastic measures!

Clenching her teeth, Qin Yixuan said, ”If you don’t agree to this, I will immediately go to the Traffic Police Team and revoke your driver’s license. With just a useless piece of paper, let’s see what you can do.”

Chen Nan had no choice but to stop. Damn, this woman was too ruthless!

Qin Yixuan walked over with a smug expression and stuffed the police badge into Chen Nan’s hand, ”Remember, from now on, don’t casually defy the captain’s orders. Just obey nicely; we’re all good comrades. Why do I have to threaten you before you listen? Are you asking for it?”

Asking for it?

Damn, I really am asking for it!

Looking at Qin Yixuan’s excited face, as if she had just won a five million prize, Chen Nan felt an indescribable frustration. If it weren’t for that damn driver’s license, he would have walked away right then.

”You vicious woman, you win!”

Chen Nan’s voice was low, and he almost broke his teeth in anger. Then he picked up the police badge and walked away, ”I’m taking it, but don’t expect me to do your bidding.”

Although Chen Nan cursed her, Qin Yixuan didn’t get angry but laughed triumphantly instead, ”Comrade Chen, from now on, you can’t speak to the captain like that, or you’ll regret it.”

”Qin Yixuan, I’m so done with your crap!”

Chen Nan grumbled and stormed off without turning back.

Qin Yixuan was stunned for a moment, then she came to her senses, cursed, ”Son of a bitch!” and chased after him, belting out roars, but Chen Nan was nowhere to be seen. He had run far away.

After leaving the Criminal Police Team, Chen Nan felt very upset. To think that he, a grown man, was being threatened by a woman. It was so depressing.

Riding his bicycle, Chen Nan headed home at a leisurely pace. Now that he had his driver’s license, riding a bicycle every day seemed pointless. He was thinking about whether he should buy a car for fun.

Chen Nan calculated in his mind. He had robbed more than ten thousand yuan from Zhao Ming, plus the rent from Yun Fei’s husband, totaling over eleven thousand on him. He couldn’t afford a fancy car, but buying a second-hand car to have some fun was still feasible.

He acted on his thought immediately and rode his bicycle towards the second-hand car market.

But when he arrived at the second-hand car market, he instantly felt a chill run half-way through his body.

These days, even though car prices had fallen, his ten thousand yuan really couldn’t buy anything decent. If he wanted a car in good condition, he’d have to settle for a ”black car” without proper paperwork.

In the end, Chen Nan spent six thousand yuan and bought a beat-up old Jetta. Although the car wasn’t in great shape, at least it had all its paperwork complete.

With an initial capital of eleven thousand, he was left with five thousand. It wasn’t that Chen Nan was unwilling to spend more, but he needed to keep some money for fuel. Otherwise, just having a car he couldn’t afford to fuel would have been frustrating enough to kill him!

After making the payment, Chen Nan didn’t rush to transfer the ownership. Instead, he just drove off to enjoy a ride.

”I’m finally one of the car owners too.”

After hitting the road, Chen Nan floored the accelerator, intending to overtake the Audi in front of him. However, to his annoyance, his car, compared to Su Qingqing’s Ferrari, was like comparing a cow’s moo to a roaring engine. The speed increased very slowly.

Not only did he fail to overtake the Audi, but he also got the middle finger from the Audi driver in contempt and was soon left far behind, unable to even see the other car’s taillights. It was a miserable loss!

”Middle finger your sister, wait till I obliterate you!”

Chen Nan was incredibly frustrated since the car accelerated so poorly—it was worse than a bicycle!

After shifting up a gear, Chen Nan pressed hard on the accelerator. It took quite a while before he finally got the speed up to over 150, which was the car’s limit.

Once he got the speed up, Chen Nan never let off the accelerator and continued speeding at over 150, chasing after the Audi relentlessly. But at that moment, a series of ”pop pop” noises began to emit and Chen Nan frowned, it seemed like... the muffler had fallen off.

The muffler had fallen off, but Chen Nan didn’t bother with it and just kept pressing on the accelerator.

The booming noise now was far more imposing than before. Anyone unaware might think a racing car was approaching.

Half a minute later, Chen Nan caught up to the Audi and successfully overtook it. As he passed, he gave them the middle finger in retaliation, infuriating the Audi driver who yelled out, wanting to chase after him but didn’t dare to because the road had a speed limit of 60, and driving at 150 was simply suicidal.

Though Chen Nan’s car was not much to look at, he managed to overtake countless vehicles on the road, especially after losing the muffler. The loud ”pop pop” noises frightened the traffic cops, who quickly made way and kept their distance, fearing that the car would suddenly fall apart and endanger them.

Ten minutes later, Chen Nan arrived at a riverside.

As the evening had set in, bringing a cool breeze, Chen Nan couldn’t help but stop the car and walk down to the river. Watching the ripples on the water, he felt a hint of regret. If his junior sister-apprentice were here to lie on the riverbank and watch the night scene with him, wouldn’t that be romantic?

His mind wandered back to childhood moments spent with Ye Yiyi lying on the grass counting stars. Shaking his head, Chen Nan was about to walk to the riverside when he suddenly heard a woman’s cry.

Frowning, Chen Nan looked aside, only to see an Audi Q5 shaking non-stop, with the woman’s screaming coming from inside.

This...

Chen Nan touched his nose and walked over, feeling a bit wicked.

He had seen it in movies, but a live show was something new!

Although it was dark, Chen Nan had exceptional eyesight. He peered through the windshield and saw a man and a woman together engaged in an intimate act, making the car rock. They seemed oblivious to public decency.

When Chen Nan looked at their faces, he suddenly laughed. They were acquaintances!
