Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”Yes... Yes... Hmm... Come home quickly. Mummy missed you.” Su Xiao held back her tears.

”Okay, Mummy, I will return the phone to Sister Yu.” Tang Heng Nuo said.

She gave the phone back to Yu Qi.

”Auntie Su Xiao, I am going to drive now. So, I might not be able to answer the call later.” Yu Qi said.

”Sure... Sure... Be careful when you drive.” Su Xiao said.

The call ended there. Yu Qi started to drive. She stopped once at the store to buy some water and bread for Tang Heng Nuo because Tang Heng Nuo told her that she was hungry.

One hour later, they arrived home. Su Xiao and others were waiting at the entrance. Once the car stopped, Su Xiao came rushing. She opened the door for the passenger’s side and saw Tang Heng Nuo.

”Mummy.” Tang Heng Nuo grinned innocently.

Su Xiao pulled the small girl into her embrace.

”Heng Nuo.... Heng Nuo...” Su Xiao kept mumbled Tang Heng Nuo’s name.

”Daddy.” Tang Heng Nuo called her father when she saw her father.

Tang Jang Qin touched Tang Heng Nuo’s face. He did not know what would happen if he lost his daughter.

”Everyone, let’s go inside first.” Grandpa Tang said.

Yu Qi looked at Tang Bo Lin. ”Come on.” She reached out for Tang Bo Lin’s hand.

Tang Bo Lin reached up for Tang Yu Qi’s hand and they entered the house together. Tang Heng Nuo sat between Tang Jang Qin and Su Xiao.

”Hmm... Sister Yu beat the man up while carrying me. The man can not stand up after that.” Tang Heng Nuo was telling her parent about what happened. ”Then, we found some older kids inside a room. Some of them were sitting inside the cages. They were dirty and thin.”

Tang Heng Nuo continued her story without noticing everyone’s reaction. Everyone turned and looked at Yu Qi. They seemed to want to confirm something. Yu Qi also seemed to understand what they wanted to ask and nodded.

Ming Yue placed her hands on her mouth. So, Tang Heng Nuo was kidnapped by the human traffickers. Because Tang Heng Nuo was being kidnapped, the police got involved and found the abducted kids.

”You are not hurt, are you?” Su Xiao asked while checking Tang Heng Nuo’s body.

”No... But...” Tang Heng Nuo dragged her words.

”But what?” Su Xiao asked in worry.

”I am hungry.” Tang Heng Nuo rubbed her belly.

”Okay.... Okay.... Come on. Mummy will feed you some food.” Su Xiao said.

Su Xiao carried Tang Heng Nuo away.

”Human trafficking?” Tang Jang Qin asked Yu Qi clearly this time.

”Yes. At first, we almost missed it. After handling the human traffickers, we were about to leave. Then, I heard some weird noises coming from the house. So, I searched for the noises. I confirmed it was coming from the basement. We smashed the entrance and entered the basement. That was where we found some children. Like Heng Nuo said, some of them were sitting in the dog cages. They were crying when the police officers tried to approach them. They cried and apologised at the same time. It was obvious that they had been hit by the human traffickers. Heng Nuo was the one who calmed them down making them stop crying. I checked their condition. All of them were malnourished. The police had to call the ambulances to take them to the hospital. I believed the parents of the kidnapped kids would be informed later.” Yu Qi said.

”Sitting in the dog cage? How could an adult do something like that to some children?” Ming Yue sighed.

”How did you find Heng Nuo in the first place?” Grandpa Tang asked.

He was curious about that. The police would not be able to get to work that fast.

”Well, I asked one of my friends who was a hacker. He hacked the surveillance camera following the van. They also changed the car in the middle. They also entered the highway. Then, he told me that I would have to search for them alone if they got out of the highway. It indeed happened like he predicted. So, I used the guts to search for Heng Nuo. There were two villages ahead. So, I entered a village. Maybe because of Heng Nuo’s luck, I found her.” Yu Qi stated.

”Which police station are the kidnappers from?” Tang Jang Qin asked.

”I think the police station at Mindong Town.” Yu Qi stated.

”Where are you going?” Grandpa Tang asked when he saw Tang Jang Qin stand up and wanted to leave.

”I want to go and make the report.” Tang Jang Qin stated.

”Uncle Jang Qin, I have already made the official report. I think the police will call us later.” Yu Qi said.

Tang Jang Qin sat down. ”Yu Qi, thank you for saving Heng Nuo.”

”Heng Nuo is my little sister. Of course, I, as her big sister would run and save my little sister. We are family, no need to thank me.” Yu Qi said.

Then, the person who worked today came back. They had surgeries to be performed and they only heard about Tang Heng Nuo after they had done with the surgeries.

”Jang Qin, how is Heng Nuo? Do you find her already?” Tang Jung Wen asked the moment he saw his brother.

”Hmm... Heng Nuo is safe now. She is with her mother.” Tang Jang Qin said.
